SINGAPORE CHANGI AIRPORT TERMINAL 2 (T2), officially opened in 1991 to accommodate the ever-growing number of passengers. The terminal underwent a three-and-a-half-year transformation journey in 2020 to increase handling capacity, enhance facilities and bring in more efficient systems. It is officially reopened in November 2023 as the complex's largest terminal by passenger capacity.
Changi Airport T2 has undergone a remarkable makeover, redefining the travel experience for passengers. From a digital waterfall to a themed garden with a digital sky, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the new digital installations.
The refreshed T2's contemporary design concept is inspired by elements of nature. With the extensive use of natural materials for wall cladding and flooring, coupled with giant green columns displaying a unique plant palette, T2 engenders a sense of calm and relaxation for passengers and visitors alike.
