You’re a smart man! You remind me so much of my Dad, May he RIP. He was always coming up with ways to get things done at our family farm! He taught me so much! Very impressed with your corn cracking method!
That was an awsum idea and will come in handy for all of us homesteaders looking to save money feeding our animals with all these outrageous prices and hyperinflation grrr!!!!
That’s awesome mars.. makatipid na. No need to buy foods for your chickens.. you can make a homemade foods for them at the comfort of your home.. ♥️ great idea.
Wow awsum glad we could help, it's always great to help someone figure out problems and it's always better when we work together towards a common goal, hope it works out great for, it sure has for us, and u can usually find bulk corn somewhat cheaper so it will help our budget to feed our babies, thanx for watching 🙂
I put my field corn from 2022 through a DK 6.5 horse chipper shredder in order to make a pile of good animal feed. I put cob and all through it and fed it to calves. Little bit powerful for it but it did the job. Made a lot of dust. I also used it to chop corn for silage and it did a fine enough job. Spits stuff out with too much force and air though so im thinking about getting an electric one for grinding feed and for cutting up cardboard for animal bedding. Blows bottoms out of bags and blows whatever you chop with it all over the place. I wound up spitting my corn into a closed corn crib building while i fed it from outside. And the corn for silage i did into a giant roll of plastic.
Well I’ll be! Great idea… now I have a small electric chipper for the small branches (big ones I use for fire pit) but I’m thinking it will work. Now time to make some moonshine 😇
Hey brother Mhaya: I has been used that machine the same you did for over 8 for my chicken, but you have to use on low R P M it less powder, did you ever try put corn on chipper side? it less powder!!!, great show brother👍👍❤ .
Hey just a heads up if you use the branch one you get bigger pieces of cracked corn lol and it will do around 1000 to 1500 pounds a hr if you have it setup right ask me how ik 😂😂😂😂😂
Hey glad u liked it, and u most definitely can vary the speed, I actually experimented with it some, the faster u feed the more coarse the grind, and the slower the finer the grind, also changing the speed of the motor to get whatever u r looking for. Thanx for watching and I hope it works out for your needs 🤠
Not crazy at all man good idea
Thank you

A Chipper is a hammer mill just like a the full size tractor feeder grinder. Only different size.
We will make a video soon thank you for watching 🙂
Hi good idea. Could you feed it heavier then what your doing ? Like put more corn in at a time?

Try grinding whole stalk of corn, cobs, kernels and all for cows. Add a little molasses on it in the trough and they'll clean it up.
Thanks we use only for our chicken feeds
After a year how's it still working
wow galing naman
Salamat
