Me being a music producer in the game, I know how these artists operate. There are times when known artists will agree to lay a verse on an up & coming artist's song. They will normally charge a substantial fee to the unknown artist, upwards of $5k, 10k or more. They'll sometimes do this for a WACK ASS artist that has hardly a chance in hell to make it big, but they can pay the fee. Many times they'll even give the unknown artist a mediocre verse, because they're not gonna waste some heat on somebody's wack song. In many of those cases, especially if the unknown artist is weak, the bigger artist AIN'T TRYING TO PROMOTE THE SONG!!!! I've seen this more than a few times. Now the unknown artist can get upset because the guy they paid won't push the song on their social media. And if the unknown artist is weak minded, they may try to get revenge because they now feel that they paid "big" money to this person and now this person won't "put them on?!" I tell artists that just because you pay somebody to hop on your song, DOESN'T MEAN THEY THINK YOU'RE HOT!!!! THEY MIGHT JUST BE STACKING RACKS FROM WHOMEVER IS WILLING TO PAY THEIR FEE!!

Me being a music producer in the game, I know how these artists operate.
There are times when known artists will agree to lay a verse on an up & coming artist's song. They will normally charge a substantial fee to the unknown artist, upwards of $5k, 10k or more.
They'll sometimes do this for a WACK ASS artist that has hardly a chance in hell to make it big, but they can pay the fee.
Many times they'll even give the unknown artist a mediocre verse, because they're not gonna waste some heat on somebody's wack song.
In many of those cases, especially if the unknown artist is weak, the bigger artist AIN'T TRYING TO PROMOTE THE SONG!!!!
I've seen this more than a few times. Now the unknown artist can get upset because the guy they paid won't push the song on their social media.
And if the unknown artist is weak minded, they may try to get revenge because they now feel that they paid "big" money to this person and now this person won't "put them on?!"
