I still think Black Cloak might be Salazar's butler. He's much more calm, and subservient to Salazar in comparison to Red Cloak at least. That note Ashley reads does show that the butler would do anything for the family, even take care of a misguided shithead Ramon
Verdugos are the butlers in family .you can find the last letter of the butler saying that no matter what's gonna happen he'll always stay loyal to salazar
I think the Verdugos are the perfect BOW, they follow orders without problem, act extremely calm yet they hunt and kill like no one else, are really big, but faster af, they are way better compared to a normal Tyrant or the Nemesis. They are the perfect blend of a Tyrant power with a Hunter agility and speed.
In the castle you can find a letter written by a butler that served the Salazer family for several generations, saying that he knows his lord has been fooled by Sadler but that it's too late to save him, and he will allow himself to be infected so he can continue to serve Salazer to the bitter end. I always saw that as evidence that the Verdugo's were in the past just normal human butlers.
I always had a feeling that the Verdugos used to be human servants of Salazar before they got injected by the Plagas. Mainly because of a note written by Salazar's butler (I believe) that you can find somewhere in the castle.
The reason they are so fast in rushing the enemy is because of the anatomy of their legs they have the knees on their back side instead of front so imagine the verdugo as usain bolt but 10 times faster if you give him knees that are in the back of the leg , even hunters in the nature like lions and leopard etc... have their back leg' knees on the back instead of front because that makes the legs faster by giving them more explosive power
First time in 2004 going against him was super scary especially when he makes his entrance with quick time events and the creepy music starts to build up like oh snap we are about to see what’ in the red robe!!!
Verdugo is the most powerful enemy. Even RPG not helping. I know Krauser is strong too, but he has some script scenes. Anyway, my man Verdugo is stronger
my theory they are complete beings made out of plagas made for serving others and there color of accesories are meant for fate and the final verdugo served his fate to create the mother plaga
I don't know why you didn't mention the butler memo. I feel like that butler is a verdugo as he mentioned even tho Salazar was manipulated or whatever he will still serve him hence making me believe that the butler writing the memo is a one of these two.
That’s crazy I have never seen them wave their finger like that! Maybe it’s cause I freeze and kill them so fast that they never hit the chance to do the animation!
I Wana see Verdugo in the RESIDENT EVIL 4 remake and how it's gana be oh boy I'm hyped for the remake thus I'm gana read the lore when it comes out because I'm up to date on lore for the main story line for now I'm excited 😊 and my reaction to the Verdugo boss with no infinite ammo at first I was around 9 or 10 when I 1st played re4 so I was scared and only died 4 to 7 times and peed my pants lol please no one make fun of me in the comments please.
In terms of game design, the Verdugo were probably from a prior cancelled iteration of RE4, which would explain why they are so radically different from anything else. In terms of canon, I suspect that the Verdugo are not even plagas BOWs at all. I’m still sticking to my theory that Saddler was an outsider infected with G-Virus, and he probably brought some other things with him, such as whatever U3 was created from. I bet this will be fleshed out more in the remake
@@agustinmora7860 That's not true- it only messed Birkin up because he was already riddled full of holes. The G-Virus reconstitutes damage, but it's a problem if the host is already damaged
@@agustinmora7860 well I don't care about the animated movies. I don't care about RE6 either but it still has Sherry with the G-virus with superhuman abilities like it was intended.
@@vovin8132 care about it or not, those movies and the game itself mentions that the G virus can destroy your mind And Sherry? Yes, she has more power than a normal human because her infection was cured, just leaving remains of the G virus in her, same thing happened to Jill
I always thought they were a cross or roach and some kind of reptile, wit those bug-like mandibles and "fingers". Not enough to be creepy-looking but definitely memorable creatures! 😁😁
Yeah i also always thought of them more as insect like than reptile. Like the tail too and a lot of the other creatures/bosses in the game are insect like too.
Out of all the Plagas Mutations. The Verdugo is my absolute favorite. When I did the boss fight I left because I forgot you can kill it. Plus I was low key scared shitless of it. I saw many playthroughs of the fight and it really is just as. intense.
I was kinda Surprised when i Meet the Verdugos, i was thinking both will be very strong bosses But when i First Meet Red Verdugo in the game i was just absolutly terefied But At the same time they both became my Favorite monsters from Resident evil 4 because both Look like scary resident evil monsters But also do kinda act like the Xenomorph from Alien Isolation, this combined made them absolutly terefying But also cool because it did remind me on my First ever played Horror Game alien isolation and the fact that we dont even know who or what exactly they are made them so mysterious and intresting and i really really hope we See more Story and more moments where they hunt Leon like Mr X did, Maybe in a Alien Isolation style so that one ki Tells the Verdugo where Leon could be and the other ki of the verdugo is searching and Leon have to Hide from both, i would love to See this in the remake But thats only my thinking and im glad we See them back again in the remake 😊👍
The quickest way to defeat the Verdugo is to toss down a nitrogen tank and fire a rocket launcher. But if you fire the rocket launcher without freezing it first, it will very likely dodge it. It will then wag its finger at you tauntingly, just like the T-1000.
Out of all the B.O.W.s that are in Resident Evil 4, the Verdugo is the toughest enemy in the game and is near Impossible to kill as a boss, the only way you can really do hurt this Verdugo is to get liquid nitrogen on it to triple the damage it gets while it's temporary frozen, do this a couple times and it will eventually smash into pieces, it is one hell of an enemy in Resident Evil 4 and there are only 2 and the other one is with Salazar himself and you have to fight both of them as a boss, thanks for showing us that the Verdugo is one HELL of an enemy SinglePlayerNacho you did a great job ✊

Correct
That's how I always interpreted it as well..

Make them invulnerable to nitrogen and they'd be literally perfect
If only it didn't hunt Leon in a corridor lined with liquid nitrogen cannisters.....Leon would have been boned.

Here is a spooky idea: What if Vertugo could speak.
Just imagen the horror of suddenly hearing "found you".
They can’t speak as they don’t have a jaw, just mandibles
I feel like the verdugos voice would be a quiet but creepy tone, like if it is below of above Leon is would whisper “found..you…”
They’re basically just sapient Xenomorphs which is fucking cool
Theres actually quite a few organisms that can handle the cold and I don't just mean those in the Arctic.
