I wanna say one thing: when I started the epic program I wasn't capable of doing even a one push up but with time and hard work through the program now it became easy and I became more strong. That's a progress. Thank you so much caroline u changed my life 🙏❤

Caroline really blows me away.. since the advent of Covid I have done Pilates with Cassey Ho, cardio with Madfit and glutes with Pamela Reif. I learned quite a bit but I wasn’t quite getting what I needed.☺️ I wanted to be strong! I wanted to learn to lift something besides a water bottle. I wanted videos that were longer and variety!! Wendy Bitker What a great tip - I have been using one but it has a dip in the seat part and in the back rest so isn’t really as sturdy as the one Caroline uses!

Hi Caroline...just finished...really good...I’m sure this was your toughest shoulder workout yet! The plank variations were all good shoulder exercises too, so the shoulders were worked in all possible ways! For me the hardest moves were the lying rear delt lift...always hard to lift a weight from a dead stop position, and the front raise hold...isometrics are often the hardest!! DAY 42 ✅ This was my favorite favorite! 🤩 Absolutely love working shoulders and core together and I couldn’t wait to smash this one when I saw it! Loved the superset format! The combo of dumbbell move & plank variations was brilliant!! I used between 10lb-20lb depending on the move. Those side laying rear delt things were a great challenge! I though 10lbs would be no problem! 🤣 Boy was I wrong! Lol! Those were great!! We are so blessed to have you as a trainer Caroline!! I hope you never get tired of hearing that from us!! We truly appreciate your creativity and commitment to these workouts for us!! We love you!! 🥰

I'm temporarily away from my healthy-eating family and put on weight the last few weeks because, well, I've been indulging. I was feeling really down about my expanding waistline and still pretty darn saggy butt today. Then I started doing this workout and realized that I am now able to do lateral raises with double the weight I was able to when I started this program! I'm still down about what my body looks like, but I'm amazed at what it can do. Thank you Caroline!

It was crazy because I used to have such a hard time with Up and Downs but now, even after 40mins into dumbell training, doing them feels like any other exercise, and the fact that I was really getting progressively stronger really sunk in. Thank you so much for offering workouts that actually work, and for making me so strong!

Me and my husband started Epic 1 after Christmas and we've kept going. We clear out the living room after the kids have gone to bed and do your exercises everyday keeping to the schedule. I've really, really enjoyed all the work outs and really built up my core and shoulders a lot. I can even do a press up and do some of the abs exercises that I've never been able to.....I'm so very pleased about that. We also make sure we clap ourselves and give you a wave back in response to you at the end 😂 Thanks so very much Caroline.....given us a real eye opener to weights-based training.
Day 42 is done! My shoulders were really sour but I keep going till the end of workout. Seriously, I really wanna write a long of paragraph through the beginning of me joining this program until where I am right now. But I need to hold myself until it's day 50 and I can share my journey through the comments😁
WOW that was an amazing Shoulder session. Decided to use 12.5kg DB for all the presses and 10kg DB for the rest. Those pike presses, decline side to side, and shoulder taps really burn when you use the chair and your straight into them after the 40 sec of DB. The ALT Hand Frontal was a new one to me and really is another burner especially with the 10s. Loved all the planks an just shows how the Plank Challenge helped all those weeks ago...40 secs seems like nothing now on the plank. Push, Push Press, Snatch is as described an absolute Melter you burn all the way through but I went for 10 of each in the allocated time. I knew I would love this, great that you can read how others got on to judge your starting point for the DB selection as well. Caroline another masterpiece where the chair exhausts you as much as the DB section. Loved this so much, great workout
Hi Anthony...sounds like you have had another brilliant workout...well done!! 12.5 kg is impressive...I could only manage 8 kg and 6 kg fir some moves! I found the lying rear delt raise hard, and the front raise hold where I just couldn’t manage a full 45 secs. By contrast a 45 sec plank actually felt like a rest!! I’m not a flexer by any means but having come this far, I look in the mirror and have to say that my triceps and arms look good! But overall I feel much stronger. Internally and physically. ❤❤ still can’t believe this is a free program. Thanks Caroline!!
When I went for the pike push ups and could actually do them it floored me!!! At the beginning of this program I couldn't move my arms while in a pike! Thank you for making me so much stronger 🎉
Can I just say...I was cheering and so proud of myself when I could do the up and down plank in correct form?!? And I didn't die?! Lol I used to hate that SO MUCH and I was enjoying that exercise the most. The rear delt raise was definitely something else too. And although I had no expectations of significant changes to my body throughout this challenge....I'm starting to have abs showing!! What the hell! I'd never thought I'd have abs at the age of 29, as I had never had anything even close to that my whole life. I've been sharing and recommending this epic challenge to everyone I know! I can't wait to complete this and go do the epic II challenge!

I usually listen to a podcast or lecture while working out but this time I just let your music and timers play and focused and it was a great experience! Physically challenging and mentally relaxing. One of the best shoulder workouts of all time.

Done ✅ I skipped the chair for all the plank variations though because normal ones are still very hard for me. Didn't expect the lying rear delt ones to be so hard. It seemed easy so I tried with a 4.7kg weight but couldn't lift it at all then I grabbed a 2.7kg one (the lightest I have) and still could barely lift properly. I think I managed one or two on both sides but with GREAT difficulty. Still, day 42 is done 💪🏻

WOWOWOWOWOW! My shoulders were on fire during this workout. My sister was commenting on how much more muscular I look and I've only been lifting since I started the program. I'm addicted to Caroline's workouts and I hope she comes back by the time i'm done with epic 2, ,3 heat, endgame, iron and fuel (which I plan on completing every single program she has!)

Never thought I would like shoulder workouts until I started doing Caroline's. Now I actually look forward to them. This workout was a perfect balance of dumbbells and bodyweight. My mind was active the whole time and this went by really quickly! Loved it!

Yes, a favorite. The last year or so my goals have been to build core strength and get to a handstand and this work out is perfect for those two goals.
I realised that I was subconsciously avoiding this workout and after having finished it, I'm impressed by how intuitively my body warned me about how challenging this would be. It was fun, but it was hard. And now onto some HIIT :) Thanks for a great workout, Caroline! Much love from South Africa

I'm temporarily away from my healthy-eating family and put on weight the last few weeks because, well, I've been indulging. I was feeling really down about my expanding waistline and still pretty darn saggy butt today. Then I started doing this workout and realized that I am now able to do lateral raises with double the weight I was able to when I started this program! I'm still down about what my body looks like, but I'm amazed at what it can do. Thank you Caroline!

It was crazy because I used to have such a hard time with Up and Downs but now, even after 40mins into dumbell training, doing them feels like any other exercise, and the fact that I was really getting progressively stronger really sunk in. Thank you so much for offering workouts that actually work, and for making me so strong!

Me and my husband started Epic 1 after Christmas and we've kept going. We clear out the living room after the kids have gone to bed and do your exercises everyday keeping to the schedule. I've really, really enjoyed all the work outs and really built up my core and shoulders a lot. I can even do a press up and do some of the abs exercises that I've never been able to.....I'm so very pleased about that.
We also make sure we clap ourselves and give you a wave back in response to you at the end 😂

My shoulders were really sour but I keep going till the end of workout. Seriously, I really wanna write a long of paragraph through the beginning of me joining this program until where I am right now.
But I need to hold myself until it's day 50 and I can share my journey through the comments😁
WOW that was an amazing Shoulder session. Decided to use 12.5kg DB for all the presses and 10kg DB for the rest. Those pike presses, decline side to side, and shoulder taps really burn when you use the chair and your straight into them after the 40 sec of DB. The ALT Hand Frontal was a new one to me and really is another burner especially with the 10s. Loved all the planks an just shows how the Plank Challenge helped all those weeks ago...40 secs seems like nothing now on the plank. Push, Push Press, Snatch is as described an absolute Melter you burn all the way through but I went for 10 of each in the allocated time. I knew I would love this, great that you can read how others got on to judge your starting point for the DB selection as well. Caroline another masterpiece where the chair exhausts you as much as the DB section. Loved this so much, great workout
Good description....but....wimp!! What happened to starting with 15kg as per my advise 🤣🤣 Ha, 12 sounds tough (I only used 8 per arm) well done!!

Hi Anthony...sounds like you have had another brilliant workout...well done!! 12.5 kg is impressive...I could only manage 8 kg and 6 kg fir some moves! I found the lying rear delt raise hard, and the front raise hold where I just couldn’t manage a full 45 secs. By contrast a 45 sec plank actually felt like a rest!! When I went for the pike push ups and could actually do them it floored me!!! At the beginning of this program I couldn't move my arms while in a pike! Thank you for making me so much stronger 🎉
Can I just say...I was cheering and so proud of myself when I could do the up and down plank in correct form?!? And I didn't die?! Lol I used to hate that SO MUCH and I was enjoying that exercise the most. The rear delt raise was definitely something else too. And although I had no expectations of significant changes to my body throughout this challenge....I'm starting to have abs showing!! What the hell! I'd never thought I'd have abs at the age of 29, as I had never had anything even close to that my whole life. I've been sharing and recommending this epic challenge to everyone I know! I can't wait to complete this and go do the epic II challenge!

I usually listen to a podcast or lecture while working out but this time I just let your music and timers play and focused and it was a great experience! Physically challenging and mentally relaxing. One of the best shoulder workouts of all time.

Done ✅ I skipped the chair for all the plank variations though because normal ones are still very hard for me. Didn't expect the lying rear delt ones to be so hard. It seemed easy so I tried with a 4.7kg weight but couldn't lift it at all then I grabbed a 2.7kg one (the lightest I have) and still could barely lift properly. I think I managed one or two on both sides but with GREAT difficulty. Still, day 42 is done 💪🏻

WOWOWOWOWOW! My shoulders were on fire during this workout. My sister was commenting on how much more muscular I look and I've only been lifting since I started the program. I'm addicted to Caroline's workouts and I hope she comes back by the time i'm done with epic 2, ,3 heat, endgame, iron and fuel (which I plan on completing every single program she has!)

Never thought I would like shoulder workouts until I started doing Caroline's. Now I actually look forward to them. This workout was a perfect balance of dumbbells and bodyweight. My mind was active the whole time and this went by really quickly! Loved it!

Yes, a favorite. The last year or so my goals have been to build core strength and get to a handstand and this work out is perfect for those two goals.
I realised that I was subconsciously avoiding this workout and after having finished it, I'm impressed by how intuitively my body warned me about how challenging this would be.
It was fun, but it was hard. And now onto some HIIT :)
