Morning Minette, that was so tough. Started with 7.5kg but within a minute I dropped to 5kg. Fair play to Caroline for using 9kg & 6kg throughout. She has some upper body strength 🏋️🏋️ it was a challenging intense session and burnt so much throughout but once over recovery is fast and you are glad you did it. Hope you enjoyed too. Won't say it is fun but time flew by. Enjoy all🏋️🏋️

That was seriously hard, my arms couldn't manage more than 3-4 hammer curls with 4kg by the end of this one. Loving this challenge and I'm glad to learn how my body can cope with the abuse. Thank you Caroline!

Emma, lol! Ha! Every morning with coffee I preview the days workout. When Caroline said “Zottman curls”, my partner almost spit out his coffee. He has been lifting for quite sometime and seemed familiar with the term. He laughed & said,“Zottman’s?! Have fun!”😂😫😂😫

My shoulders took the bulk load of the work and by the time I got to the hammers and the zottman curls I dropped way down to 4kg from 12.2kg haha. Biceps are usually my fave but somehow Caroline usurped all of my energy and I had nothing left for my fave exercises. Oh well!🥵

Just finished this one...caroline has increased my strength immensely....just seeing the description had me fainted for the number of sets but shockingly I completed it... I did it with 9kg/8kg for heavier weight exercises, for 6kg exercise I did it with 6kg..both were done crying and screaming but loved every minute of it

I did this with 4kgs and 2kgs for the diagonal and arc raises. My Triceps gave out on the Tricep pushups and I did then on my knees. Caroline your upper body strength keeps me in awe and I'd love to be like you one day.!! ❤
Hi Caroline, yesterday was one of the hardest glute workouts ever! Those hip thrust are always a challenge and hope one day to do it just like you. I can’t believe how much I enjoyed this. I did 20 minutes of pull up and Tricep dip practice before this and just didn’t want to be around people in the gym so went into a different room to do this instead. I can’t express how happy I am that I did, working out with Caroline is always so amazing and this was depleting. Thank you Caroline! ❤

Morning Matthew! You'll definitely love this workout! 🤩 Just finished up with my training session and it was 'super intense' ... so much fun though! I loved the staple, every single superset, esp driving the car, frontal raises, dips and kickbacks (that burnt so good!😆) and the biceps supersets. If I remember correctly we have done Zottman curls with Caroline before (and I did them in gym) ... great for building muscle in both the biceps and forearm muscles (the benefit is that the positive portion of each rep hits the biceps and the negative portion targets the forearms). George Zottman was an American strongman ... he is the namesake of this exercise. I'm certain on you killing this workout! Have fun! Happy Tuesday! 🌟💪🏻🌟🎉

I’m absolutely loving supersets. It gives such a deep satisfying burn. My glutes during those hip thrusts yesterday completely fatigued out! Whew!! Felt so good tho! Looking forward to this workout as well. Shoulders are a favorite to work out. This month marks 1 year anniversary of working out with Caroline. I can solidly say this….my 40 year old body is at its strongest, leanest, and best! The formula for change is consistency and time. That’s the formula. No gimmicks or 14 week shred challenges. I think you read my mind because today includes all my favorite upper body exercise 😍 I used to not enjoy upper body day so much as my upper body was weak and not so strong. But thanks to Caroline, I have enjoyed upper body day more and more, and love it now. And definitely I can feel it's getting stronger. This was just as I imagined… a full on arms session packed with loads of fun. It certainly was a challenge with the staple. That was amazing. I find upper bidy quite hard as i had a mastectomy in November last year (yes 2020 was the year that gave🙄🤪). So after surgery and approved by ny surgeon and during chemo I have done Caroline's workouts. At the start i was in 1kg wuth not a lot of movement in my arm, now i go heavier, still listening to my body and dropping if i need to. Thank you
I used a variety of weights to complete this workout. My arms are done. Such a great burn. I love the variety of exercises and the duration of time under tension. The diagonal raise to Arc was so intense!

Super intense indeed! LOVED the Zottman curls! I could really feel the isolation of all the different shoulder & arm muscle groups with the structure today. I'll definitely be coming back to this one!
Came back today and couldn't believe the burn on some of those! Really felt the muscles working hard. :) Used 15lbs and 10lbs today, just adjusted tempo to keep it spicy!

I used half kg (1 lb) dumbbells but could not last even 9 minutes when my entire body completely gave up and I stopped and my MIL told me to go and rest to recover. My MIL did the full session using set of 6 kg and 10 kg dumbbells! Her biceps are thick and powerful like Caroline's and she has massive strength and stamina power! I feel really low and defeated. Is this very difficult for men?
I found Caroline a liittle over a month ago and then found her programs and decided on epic 3 - i dont understand how she looks sooo happy and energized while giving us a thumbs up but i absolutely love it! completing a workout and feeling like death and someone just there to give you the biggest smile and thumbs up definitely gives my endorphins a boost. It also shows how much love and planning shes put into the workouts - my arms are dead.

I always feel that lift to failure with your workouts👏🙌, I am shaking shaking by the end it’s insane. I can run 4hrs straight but it’s hard to motivate to do a 45 min W.O with weights 😱 I’m still doing it…but it’s hard. Thank you Caroline
Caroline Girvan becomes my favorite fitness RUclipsr now! I love strength training but I just don't want to go to the gym using all equipment there. That was a great workout.. used 12.5 kgs for all the Shoulder Presses and the Staple and 10kgs for everything else. Definitely noticing the increase strength and endurance. The Staple is a challenge as at about 15 secs in on the shoulder presses the burn really kicks in and they start to hurt. Interestingly the last staple after the biceps section was the easiest as the biceps are so pumped you can just rep them out. Love those Arcs but 10kg is definitely my limit at the moment. Everyone knows by now I guess that I love a push up....but those final Triceps Pushups are so hard....if you have done everything else right they are literally shaking... definitely mission accomplished today... bowling balls for shoulders for a few hours at least ...see you all tomorrow.

Hi Anthony...I thought you would love today’s workout and I was wondering what weights you would use! As always your weights are impressive! I used 8 kg throughout as that was all I had available and like you I found those arcs hard! You are quite right about the last set of tricep push ups...after these my triceps just stopped working! I got another of the unpleasant Spam messages today after I thought they’d been stopped! I thought about these and I really do think they are malicious and designed to disrupt Caroline’s channel and community. They just come from so many different channels...but clearly all the same in reality. Certainly dozens, probably more! Why else would someone set something up like this other that to be malicious! RUclips is one of the busiest media platforms now, it's not people attacking Caroline's channel, its sex bots, which are automated chat or spam programs that pretend to be attractive people in order to lure the gullible to these adult sites or infect them with malware. The programs are designed to copy comments from simular comments and post, normally a spam detection system mainly cares about the content of the comment, and as they have not written anything out of context so not flash up. This is happening throughout youtube atm not just Caroline 😣 But I hope youtube fixes it soon.
I've done Epic 1 twice, Epic 2, Epic Heat twice, and I'm on Day 2 of this Epic 3 and my legs are still sore after day 1 yesterday! When I first started all I was able to use were 8, 15, 20 lb dumbbells and now I'm up to 15, 30, and 45 lb!! Thank you Caroline! I'm 36 and have never felt stronger and more in shape than I do now!

Morning Minette, that was so tough. Started with 7.5kg but within a minute I dropped to 5kg. Fair play to Caroline for using 9kg & 6kg throughout. She has some upper body strength 🏋️🏋️ it was a challenging intense session and burnt so much throughout but once over recovery is fast and you are glad you did it. Hope you enjoyed too. Won't say it is fun but time flew by. Enjoy all🏋️🏋️

That was seriously hard, my arms couldn't manage more than 3-4 hammer curls with 4kg by the end of this one. Loving this challenge and I'm glad to learn how my body can cope with the abuse. Thank you Caroline!

My shoulders took the bulk load of the work and by the time I got to the hammers and the zottman curls I dropped way down to 4kg from 12.2kg haha. Biceps are usually my fave but somehow Caroline usurped all of my energy and I had nothing left for my fave exercises. Oh well!🥵

I did it with 9kg/8kg for heavier weight exercises, for 6kg exercise I did it with 6kg..both were done crying and screaming but loved every minute of it

I did this with 4kgs and 2kgs for the diagonal and arc raises. My Triceps gave out on the Tricep pushups and I did then on my knees. Caroline your upper body strength keeps me in awe and I'd love to be like you one day.!! ❤

Morning all, that was one tough upper body session. Started with my 7.5kg but within a minute dropped to 5kg and that is what I used for most of it! Still so challenging even with the lighter weight. Caroline, you are superwoman to continue with the weights you were using🏋️🏋️my arms were dead with the 5kg. This will be a challenging intense burning one but great when over😂 won't say it was fun but you feel great after it. Enjoy all🏋️🏋️

I did 20 minutes of pull up and Tricep dip practice before this and just didn’t want to be around people in the gym so went into a different room to do this instead.

Morning Matthew! You'll definitely love this workout! 🤩 Just finished up with my training session and it was 'super intense' ... so much fun though! I loved the staple, every single superset, esp driving the car, frontal raises, dips and kickbacks (that burnt so good!😆) and the biceps supersets. If I remember correctly we have done Zottman curls with Caroline before (and I did them in gym) ... great for building muscle in both the biceps and forearm muscles (the benefit is that the positive portion of each rep hits the biceps and the negative portion targets the forearms). George Zottman was an American strongman ... he is the namesake of this exercise. I'm certain on you killing this workout! Have fun! Happy Tuesday! 🌟💪🏻🌟🎉

This month marks 1 year anniversary of working out with Caroline. I can solidly say this….my 40 year old body is at its strongest, leanest, and best! The formula for change is consistency and time. I think you read my mind because today includes all my favorite upper body exercise 😍 I used to not enjoy upper body day so much as my upper body was weak and not so strong. But thanks to Caroline, I have enjoyed upper body day more and more, and love it now. And definitely I can feel it's getting stronger. This was lots of reps and press but I don't hate it ❤ Now I am excited for what coming up this week 🔥

Switched between 2 and 3kg each throughout this workout and DANGGG my arms are completely fatigued by the end of that finisher!! Arms supersets are always my favorite and the best burner!! Loved this😍😍

Balloon arms!! 🎈💪🏻🎈The pump is definitely REAL after this one!😆 That was INTENSE!! I LOVED it!!😊 Got me smiling several times with the burn 🔥! Just smiling my way through the discomfort! Morning, Monika! Sounds like you had an amazing workout! Me too, it was so brilliantly put together. The staple wasn't that awful as I thought it would be and I enjoyed every minute of this workout. Made me feel strong and powerful! When I got to tricep work I immediatelly knew what Caroline meant earlier- my triceps were tireed! I really got good pump, loooooved the bicep section and the abs add-on. Good variety in todays workout.

Great upper body workout. Supersets, intense yet fun. I used 2x9kgs and 2x5kg Dumbells. Upper body toasted. I added the 1000 reps Ab Challenge. Can't wait for what tomorrow brings us! ❤
This was just as I imagined… a full on arms session packed with loads of fun. It certainly was a challenge with the staple. That was amazing. I find upper bidy quite hard as i had a mastectomy in November last year (yes 2020 was the year that gave🙄🤪). So after surgery and approved by ny surgeon and during chemo I have done Caroline's workouts. At the start i was in 1kg wuth not a lot of movement in my arm, now i go heavier, still listening to my body and dropping if i need to. Thank you

I used a variety of weights to complete this workout. My arms are done. Such a great burn. I love the variety of exercises and the duration of time under tension. The diagonal raise to Arc was so intense!

I found Caroline a liittle over a month ago and then found her programs and decided on epic 3 - i dont understand how she looks sooo happy and energized while giving us a thumbs up but i absolutely love it! completing a workout and feeling like death and someone just there to give you the biggest smile and thumbs up definitely gives my endorphins a boost.
It also shows how much love and planning shes put into the workouts - my arms are dead.

That was a great workout.. used 12.5 kgs for all the Shoulder Presses and the Staple and 10kgs for everything else. Definitely noticing the increase strength and endurance. The Staple is a challenge as at about 15 secs in on the shoulder presses the burn really kicks in and they start to hurt. Interestingly the last staple after the biceps section was the easiest as the biceps are so pumped you can just rep them out. Love those Arcs but 10kg is definitely my limit at the moment. Everyone knows by now I guess that I love a push up....but those final Triceps Pushups are so hard....if you have done everything else right they are literally shaking... definitely mission accomplished today... bowling balls for shoulders for a few hours at least ...see you all tomorrow.

The programs are designed to copy comments from simular comments and post, normally a spam detection system mainly cares about the content of the comment, and as they have not written anything out of context so not flash up.

I've done Epic 1 twice, Epic 2, Epic Heat twice, and I'm on Day 2 of this Epic 3 and my legs are still sore after day 1 yesterday! When I first started all I was able to use were 8, 15, 20 lb dumbbells and now I'm up to 15, 30, and 45 lb!! Thank you Caroline! I'm 36 and have never felt stronger and more in shape than I do now!
