Thank you for sharing your experience. I will be heading to Taipei solo soon and was slightly nervous about how people will react to solo dining. Love this channel. I am a fan now
Thank you, no need to worry about solo dining, although I know most people do go to restaurants in groups when doing reservations. It might take you longer time to wait for a table, if you dine alone, try to avoid rush hours or get a reservation before you go.
On my flight from San Francisco to Taipei in July 2024, the new landing music played during landing into Taiwan. They’re suppose to not play the old landing music anymore.
@davek2499 lol, EVA hired a lot of young FA after Covid, sometimes they just pressed the wrong bottom to play the wrong landing music without realizing it if there is no chief purser onboard
@yvr2002rtw yes, I did, the airports I transited through are all permitting baggages checked through. I have done some trainings for Amadeus DCS, normally checked all airport limitations before ticketing my itinerary. Luckily, I done this type of journey on Etihad, Air Canada, EVA Air, they did not let me down. If I traveled in Economy, then probably I will not do this way.
@@global3 By any chance do you work for AC? Do you also have native access to Amadeus Selling Platform (with office code used by Aeroplan) in addition to Altea DCS? Asking because you seem to be able to book such complex trips. Or do you just wait on hold like everyone else when calling Aeroplan?
@yvr2002rtw From MYIDTRAVEL, which available to airlines staff, I can see the seat availability, and build my itinerary accordingly with permitted routing. Eg. Seats available J9 C9 D9 Z9 P0 I9 Y9 B9 M9 U9 H9 X4 Q9 V9 W9 S0 T0 L0 K0

Toronto has no Aeroplan office, in YUL and YVR only, I am being trained on revenue fares only.
