I don't think you mentioned it in your video, but you should include the total travel distance for each setting + the total pretravel distance of each setting as well. And maybe include Sanwa specs just as a reference/baseline for people, but also great video!
Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't mention specific throw distances in the video, but I have now added the measurements of the KT and the Sanwa OBSF-30 throw distances (total travel) in the description section below the video. When I get a chance, I'll try to measure the pre-travel (before actuation) and post it. I appreciate the feedback. 👍
Qanba KT buttons are of very high quality. Compared to the Sanwa OBSF button, many think (including me) that the Qanba KT and KS buttons are far better. Have a look at the video I made about the KS buttons in which I go into a bit of detail about the quality materials and construction of KS buttons ruclips.net/video/5uC79ykCMWg/видео.html. Other than the adjustable throw distance on the KT buttons, the KS buttons have the same features. I hope this helps.
@@DinodraxChronicles i see thanks! Unfortunately i cant find them here in europe on ebay. Also they are more expensive then the sanwas. Wich is redicuous for me.
I haven't bought anything from ebay in a long while - I find that Amazon and AliExpress often have better selection and more consistent pricing/quality. For Qanba specific items, I frequently buy from AliExpress and from the Qanba Asia Global Shop (qanba.vip) - both usually have free shipping and often have sales/promotions (I try not to pay the full list price). Right now, qanba.vip has a 20% OFF sale and depending on where you are in the world, shipping for buttons may also be free - check them out under Accessories > Button (all prices are shown in US Dollars). I hope this helps you source some reasonably priced buttons.
this is a pretty ingenious design imo, something completely brand new for buttons. Are they more quiet than the KS? my problem with KS is that it's not as quiet as I'd like, even though I love the buttons
The sound profile of the new KT buttons is very similar to the KS buttons - both use the same switch and almost identical sound dampening silicone inserts. I find that most of the sound I hear when using the KT and the KS buttons comes from the "finger slap" (my finger making the initial contact with the plunger) and from the "thud" that is produced by the arcade controller enclosure resonating. The buttons themselves have very little plastic-to-plastic contact and make minimal sound on their own. Outside of the controller the KT and the KS buttons are noticeably quieter than standard "plastic" buttons (see ruclips.net/video/KY1PKzzCObo/видео.html), but once installed into a controller enclosure, the benefits of the sound dampening silicone are diminished. I hope this helps answer your question.
On the shortest setting, the Qanba KT button throw distance (marked with I on the plunger) is shorter than the Sanwa OBSF-30 throw distance. I took some throw distance measurements (±0.02mm accuracy) for comparison listed below. Sanwa OBSF-30 = 2.54mm ±0.02mm Qanba KT (I) = 1.48mm ±0.02mm Qanba KT (II) = 2.06mm ±0.02mm Qanba KT (III) = 2.41mm ±0.02mm Note: The Qanba KT has a bit of a "flex" at the bottom after the actuation point (sound dampening silicone) which I didn't include in the throw distance measurements. I hope this helps.
@@sewerPig Have you looked at the Qanba KS series buttons? The 24mm KS has a 1.92mm (±0.02mm) throw - still shorter than OBSF-30. And also, it's a bit shorter than the OBSF-24 throw which is 2.42mm (±0.02mm).
@@DinodraxChronicles wow really? I looked at the original gravity 30mm buttons and heard that they had a longer throw than OBSFs so I didn't look into them further; I just assumed that the KS are the same but just snap ins. If they are different and are a shorter throw than OBSFs I'm gonna have to check them out then, thanks for the heads up!

are these buttons quality and feel wise like the sanwa buttons?
