Props to including punisher war journal 6 and 7, such a classic meetup! Also Reggie your slab game is so good dude. You have incredible taste in comics
Hey Reggie vid idea. Obviously you are w Wolvie enthusiast, how abt favorite wolverine covers where he is the guest star? Like Cap annual 8,(Zeck is Goated for that cover), and the aforementioned punisher wj 6,(absolutely classic). Again big fan of the channel, keep the vids coming sir!
I really enjoyed Wolvie vs the bear in the first few pages of Wolverine 1 the limited series. Beautifully drawn and it only takes a few pages of him to flex and kill the bear. Not a villain story but great battle. Thanks Regie!
Gotta say X-Men #173 where he takes on Silver Samurai is my personal favorite. Almost mirroring visually the Wolverine ltd.- series where he takes on Lord Shingen (another great fight). Wolverine #10 vs. Sabretooth is a classic (but agree #212-213 is slightly better...the fight, if not the overall story). And in Old Man Logan Giant Size where he takes out Hulk, pretty good. Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk is also ridiculously gory. Too many great fights, that's why he's the best at what he does, and it's not very nice!
2nd the first solo wolverine, however this is what comic content should be........ not earnings, ratings or anything else, just story's, art and the love of the books we so love, cherish and respect
Hey man, quick question for you. Being from across the pond(I'm from the states), how did you guys view the emergence of the punisher? Was he perceived as super extreme and violent bc he was American? Or was he just viewed as a badazz anti hero? Thanks in advance man, hope you see this comment
@RegieCollects I'd take 273 off the list. 2 sabertooth fights still make sense with Wolvie. Though a good throw down with Gambit and Wolverine should be noted, too. They sure banter enough. Though I'm curious if there is one. Usually, it's just a bunch of trash talk.
Great list. One of the favorites from my childhood was his fight with Silver Samurai (Uncanny 173). Arguably, his biggest battle would be against the Office of Child Support for all those damn kiddos he didn’t help raise…😂😂😂
Nice list and it is obvious you have done your homework. The only other one I would have added was Wolvy's first solo story, X-Men #133. He takes on the Hellfire Club solo and it was a very good read.
Fantastic list! I would have added Uncanny 133. It’s Wolverine’s first solo cover and he absolutely goes wild on the Hellfire Club’s henchmen! We’re all gonna let you slide on not liking The Toddfather’s art in Hulk 340!
I debated that issue. It wasn’t included because he went HAM on mall cops and know known characters. It’s also not really know as a battle book. But…but…let’s say we include it. What are you pulling off the top 10?
When you look at modern comics and realise how much they rely on the colouring to lift mediocre un detailed art it makes me want to see classic 4 colour comics like BWS Conan redone with modern colours. X-men #133 Wolverine alone after the Hellfire club has captured the X-men is my favourite. To me its It's the issue where he arrived as an A list character.
You could have left the battles you didn't like off of the list and added Wolverine vs Shingen (Mariko's Father) from Wolverine Limited series #4 and Wolverine vs Silver Samurai from Uncanny X-men #175. Also this list REALLY needs Wolverine vs The Hellfire Club from Uncanny X-men #133. I'm SURE I'm forgetting a bunch of others.
Reggie! In your opinion name top 3 artist’s that have drawn the Wolverine character and your favorite to draw Wolverine all time.. Bonus question: Which Wolverine cover do you think is your number 1 favorite ever drawn by an artist Mine is Wolverine 1 by FM I think Rob Liefeld draws a great wolvie as well
I'm a big BWS fan also. If you haven't already you should check out Monsters. It has some similarities to the weapon X saga. I highly recommend it I'd like to add Wolverine #10 to the list
My focus was on known “battle” and “versus” issues which Wolverine 90 is not know to be. Could have included issue 90? Sure, but that would mean there would be two Sabretooth issues in the top 10 or I would have to eliminate the first battle or Wolverine/Sabretooth which didn’t make sense to me. If you listen to the video, I acknoweldge that Wolverine and Creed have had some crazy battles-issue 90 is just one of those that I was thinking of. It’s okay that you disagree with my list, but don’t be disagreeable.
@@RegieCollects I understand your point, but it's difficult to watch the same content over and over again. I am sorry to say, but I watched your video for a fresh perspective, and unfortunately, I was able to predict your list (aside from your #10 and 8) with impeccable accuracy. Meaning, you are just promoting the same old, tired rhetoric over and over again. If anyone lacking nostalgia were to read the books you recommended, you would turn them off of comics. As an example, it's no secret that Wolverine #88 is a terrible comic book, the fact that you felt compelled to promote it highlights the problem.
The list isn’t based upon preferences exactly. It’s based upon those comics that are best known as “battle” and “versus” books. It’s that historical notation that served as the basis for the list.

Thank you, bro.

That X-Men 213 Cover is one of my most favorite covers. Wolverine and Sabretooth both on beast-mode.
Uxm has some of the best covers in all of comics. Uncanny 251 and 268 are 2 of the best wolverine covers in uxm imo
I really enjoyed Wolvie vs the bear in the first few pages of Wolverine 1 the limited series. Beautifully drawn and it only takes a few pages of him to flex and kill the bear. Not a villain story but great battle. Thanks Regie!
What a fun intro! Solid top 10 Regie!
My boy stick those gummy figures to the ceiling the day after the video was filmed. He did not like our reaction to that action. 😂😂
He's Alive!.. And back with a beard!

Love any wolverine content . Coming from a London based wolverine collecter since 1991 when I was 11
2nd the first solo wolverine, however this is what comic content should be........ not earnings, ratings or anything else, just story's, art and the love of the books we so love, cherish and respect

I would like to add Wolverine 90 to the list. The Hildebrandt cover is amazing. The famous claw pop heard around the world. It is a great issue.
😂😂 That’s a good one. But, what are you removing from the list,
@RegieCollects I'd take 273 off the list. 2 sabertooth fights still make sense with Wolvie. Though a good throw down with Gambit and Wolverine should be noted, too. They sure banter enough. Though I'm curious if there is one. Usually, it's just a bunch of trash talk.
Wolverine volume 3 issue 55 from 2007 where Wolverine kills “Sabretooth” by decapitating him with the Muramasa sword is a pretty awesome issue
Your wall is fire!
Much love to the mcp weapon x storyline. I commented this already but his slab game is top notch. Great taste in comics
🤘😀🤘
I'm here for Regie playing with Stretch Wolvie.
He is pretty dope. My boy has a grey beast as well.
Great list. One of the favorites from my childhood was his fight with Silver Samurai (Uncanny 173). Arguably, his biggest battle would be against the Office of Child Support for all those damn kiddos he didn’t help raise…😂😂😂
😂😂😂 Debated including the Silver Samurai.
Nice list and it is obvious you have done your homework. The only other one I would have added was Wolvy's first solo story, X-Men #133. He takes on the Hellfire Club solo and it was a very good read.
If you add #133 what are you taking off the list? 🤷🏾♂️😂

The only one I haven’t read was the Wolverine vs Cable story at #10. So I’d have to remove that one.
Copy that. It’s not a terrible story. I just think it’s mis-categorized as a Wolverine/Cable battle book.
It’s a great issue for sure. I didn’t include it because he was basically wrecking mall cops. 😂😂 Great issue…great cover but….
Cool list, Managed to finally obtain a Hulk 340 recently on my channel!
One of the best macfarlane covers ever. Absolutely legendary
Gotta get that X-Men #205! BWS is one of my favorite artists! The Weapon X story from MCP was my introduction to his work. Phenomenal!
MCP might have been my introduction as well. 😂😂
Wolverine 90. Badass fight with Sabretooth. Whole issue is perfect cover to cover.
What would you remove from the list to make room for this issue?
@ I dont want to change your list. This issue can be another honorable mention, if anything.
Wolverine 90 is easily Wolverine's best battle issue in existence. The entire list should be dumped to make room for this issue.
okay....did your son say you could play with his toys?
The kids actually hunted the toy room to find them for me. :-)
Don't like the Toddfather's artwork?
Blasphemy!!!!!!
I didn’t like his artwork in this book. I said it, I stand by it. :-)
@RegieCollects McFarlane drawing wolverine isn't the best but the hulk is 🔥🔥🔥
Asm 328 w cosmic spidey vs the hulk is also some great grey hulk McFarlane 💪
You could have left the battles you didn't like off of the list and added Wolverine vs Shingen (Mariko's Father) from Wolverine Limited series #4 and Wolverine vs Silver Samurai from Uncanny X-men #175. Wolverines greatest battle: himself
Reggie! In your opinion name top 3 artist’s that have drawn the Wolverine character and your favorite to draw Wolverine all time..

Mine is Wolverine 1 by FM
I think Rob Liefeld draws a great wolvie as well
I'm a big BWS fan also. If you haven't already you should check out Monsters. It has some similarities to the weapon X saga. I highly recommend it
I'd like to add Wolverine #10 to the list
If you add, #10 what are you taking off?
I'll take off Wolverine vs cable.
Silver Samari? Venom in MCP?
dude, how did you completely omit Wolverine #90? Have you even read that issue? Do you know it exists?
My focus was on known “battle” and “versus” issues which Wolverine 90 is not know to be. Could have included issue 90? Thanks for sharing your perspective. 👊🏾
@RegieCollects Aside from my scathing review, I wish you all the health and happiness. Cheers
Great list for sure. A second list of battles for me would be where he takes out the Hulk family!
😂
I guess you have your preference but you missed out on alot of really good comicbook battles
The list isn’t based upon preferences exactly. It’s based upon those comics that are best known as “battle” and “versus” books. It’s that historical notation that served as the basis for the list.
@RegieCollects if you say so
