Best outback channel on You Tube, give me this over Ronny Dahl any day plus no scripted humor or product placement of 4wd action..
The best thing is, what he see’s in his travels is what we get👍👍
Loving the Travel Buddy segments mate 👍🏻
It's wonderful you have such great success with the cooker. It works and you're getting nice food so it must be a nice bit of kit.
I'd add more garlic....just to be sure... :-)
I couldn't live without it now.
Personaly I like your camp cooking videos maybe you must do more camp cooking videos and go more into details I saw a video years ago of an australian making gamon with garlic and cardoman seeds and star aniseed with apricot jam I still make it like that for over 10 years now taste great.
Champion bush cook👍
I always say,"just because you're camping,doesn't mean you have to eat poorly"👍😊
Indeed, especially though for long term travel.
Anyone caught with 2 minute noodles in my camp is summarily executed and their body thrown to the Quolls.
Looks great!
Thank you
How do you store the meat and vedge when out and about? How is your cooler powered?
i have a 32l fridge. Everything else goes in wolfpack boxes. Solar panels keep the secondary battery charged to run the fridge.
@@RoamingTheOutback Thanks for your reply, good to know! Nice to be able to eat some real food when you're out for so long stretches.
Hello hello hello like your videos have you ever done any fishing
Not in a long time. Most states require a fishing permit, so not worth getting for the occasional throw.
Roaming The Outback for the fishing will be worthwhile catching a feed you should ask someone to donate you are fishing license😉😉
Mmm Peri Peri seasoning.
Hey Brett, bring back the pony tail and mostache!!!
haha.. no mate, those days are long gone!
I notice you never seem to have a fire at camp, why is that?
I don't have the room to take fire wood with me, and i camp mostly in national parks, so the wood there is protected.
Well actually you can have a bit of a crispy roast and crispy vegetables just take that damn alfoil off the top your steaming it you made it so it would steam
My early attempts without the foil were not particularly successful. From memory 3-4 hours and they still hadn't cooked through, so added the foil so I could get dinner without waiting all night. When I next hit the road, I'll try again without foil and time it.
Yeah it's a bit of a bugger the ovens the kick-ass oven is pretty good though works a lot better than the other ones with a 15 amp booster on it what I have done is used an air fryer on a inverter it works a lot better on a 300 amp battery
No flies were hurt in the making if this clip...
They're the secret ingredient. Can also substitute for raisins in the damper.
But there bloody well should have been 😄👍🤣
Lol what bout the bugs on ur arms tho 😂
Extra protein snack.
@@RoamingTheOutback lol👍
Yeh yeh nah nah mate
You know for some reason a hot meal isn't that important to me when I'm traveling. I'd rather skip the extra weight of ingredients, utensils, cooking appliances, cleaning agents etc. - not to mention the cleaning up and debris - and just eat energy bars, sandwiches and other simple things on the road. Every now and then I'll have a pub meal if I'm in the mood for a proper dish.
For short trips that would suffice, but I'd hate to see what your health looks like after 10 months plus travelling! I need something to keep me going after a day lugging my camera gear and tripod around.
Brett, totally hear you with that. Just make yourself a bit more comfy when eating, will you? I wouldn't be able to swallow a bite when being cramped in the back of my Jeep, lying on my very own belly. Enjoy life. Thanks for all your videos and take care.
It's an acquired skill. When things warm up I eat outside like a regular person ;-)
Roaming The Outback enjoyed your video, humour - respect! Happy adventuring!
