@@SangHTX I haven't tried Killen's, but I also heard awesome things about them. I haven't tried any of the other places or even heard of some of them. What are we doing Sang?? We're missing out haha! You've gotta try Rosemeyer after trying all those places and let me know which one you liked the best 😁
Hey Hong, You seem to enjoy the bbq there. I have not tried Rosemeyer. I have some additional places for you to try: Corkscrew BBQ , Burns BBQ and Truth BBQ. I have been to all three that I have named and think they are among the top BBQ places besides Blood Bros. You know that I am a Texas BBQ Foodie! Lol😂
@@williamyee2294 Haha yes I'll have to try all of those restaurants for sure! Omgosh you have to try Rosemeyer though and let me know your thoughts! It was SO incredible. I have PTSD thinking of Rosemeyer, but like the good version if that's even a thing lmao. Like instead of getting nightmares and such, I get the total opposite effect. I see rainbows and unicorns instead LOL
They have a few decent BBQ places in Pittsburgh where I live... But nothing that really stands out... But again, BBQ is a limited menu for me, since I don't eat pork or beef... Just poultry... So BBQ is not my 1st choice of restaurants... But I like to try good homemade BBQ sauces that have many flavors, since I know how to make my own sauces from scratch... But the BBQ spot you went to looks delicious...
@@jsmooth2268 I heard their chicken leg is bomb. That would be a great option for you if you ever visited, which I will definitely have to try next time as well. I'm looking forward to it so bad lol. Ooh I've made plenty of sauces, but I have actually never made BBQ sauce from scratch. That sounds yummy cause I love me some good BBQ sauce!! 🤤
If you like pork ribs I think Pappas BBQ downtown location has the best pork ribs I have ever had. Their potato salad is homemade and good also. If you want the best beef rib and brisket in Houston is at The Pitroom on Richmond st. The beef rib is expensive but so worth it...
I must try those ribs if I am ever in Houston, what did Thomas think about the rib? I would eat that rib with some fresh cooked white rice😋. What year is your S2000, i have a 2008 CR edition yellow.
@@brucewayne2773 I never had BBQ ribs like that with rice. Bruce I swear you eat everything with rice, you're so Asian lol :p but yeah they're pretty darn good, way better than I expected. Thomas was impressed as well and it wasn't even fresh by the time he tried it. He said it was really flavorful, fatty, and delicious, better than he thought too. The S2000 is also his car, it's a 2005. Such a super fun and agile car to drive, but too slow for me hahah!! That's cool you have the 08 CR and in yellow also. I bet it attracts alot of cops cause his car does and alot of people tryna race all the time 🤦
@@HongtheFoodie Dang, throw that rib in the air fryer for a few minutes, sure it would have been much better lol.. I only take mine out once in a while, not a big fan of the high revving motor. And it's not that fast of a car either 🤣. I do prefer my 94 NSX , it's got the torque and is more fun to drive. Too old to be racing , I do get lots of honking and thumbs up though. Hanging on to both since they are going up in value too, my wife can sell them when I die 🙏
@@brucewayne2773 Lol yeah the air fryer would have made it taste better for sure. Yep it is definitely loud for sure. He always gets thumbs up, but every time I drive it I never do 😢. Sounds like the NSX would be fun to drive. But no I don't race either, too old and mature to do that. Now back in the day is a whole nother story lol. Ooh yeah they'll definitely keep going up in value. Usually cars lose their value as soon as you purchase them but classic cars like that..you'll for sure get more in return
Watching you have to pull the meat off those ribs with your teeth was making me sad. They needed to cook that rib another 45 minutes at least. If I paid for that rib, I'd bring it back.
@@Funksultan Ooh it may have looked like that in the video, but I promise it was nothing like that when I actually ate it. If it was hard and overcooked I would have definitely told you guys. I came with the expectation that it wasn't going to be good if it isn't sous vide, but they totally proved me wrong cause it was finger licking good, I couldn't believe it myself lol
@@HongtheFoodie Not overcooked, it was undercooked. You can see you trying to gnaw the meat off the bone. Then, when it did come off, the bone wasn't clean. These are signs of undercooked ribs. :)
Yup, If summer had one defining scent, it'd definitely be the smell of barbecue.
@@Lipsync-1000songs Yes indeed!!!!
Have you tried Killen's BBQ in Pearland?
I heard they are one of the best.
I want to try Truth's, Pinkerton's, Pizzitola's, and Gatlin's BBQ.
