- “It’s an incredible responsibility to outfit our special forces and that is something we hold very highly here.” - Brad Thomas, Product Manager at Crye Precision
Playing an integral role in the U.S. #military’s history and the gold standard in providing protection for our #troops #CryePrecision has been weaving #CORDURA NYCO fabric technology into their uniforms for over 15 years. In the latest edition of our Meet the Maker series we go #BTS at Crye Precision’s design and production facility in #Brooklyn Navy Yard to check out the new adoption of G4 apparel featuring next gen lightweight stretch uniform fabric #madeinusa -- Crye VTX Ripstop.

Ben Sutter lol
????? what are talking about RUclips is free
Jonathan Daniel-Hegg it’s a joke about how expensive Crye gear is.
@@jonathandaniel-hegg6466 big fat fucking woosh
And the buttons prolly fell off of da pants too.
Jesus. I had no idea Crye was that big. That facility is awesome.
BUY ONCE, CRYE ONCE!!!!!
"When I was studying fashion design I definitely didn't plan someday to be designing the next generation of military gucci gear" - yeah, right, we know it was your intent all along, Johanna. :) Keep up the good work.
Caleb Crye looks like a part of Twilights team Edward
And monke
Gucci gearheads unite!
If they started releasing aor1 and m81 that’d be great...
@Teddy BAD B0Y yeah with the kneepad adjustments in the bad habit pockets like they make now. Id pay twice as much for a pair of those lol. If they came out with a FR line that'd be awesome too
You guys are the top standard
Very cool to see behind the scenes!
Isn't it amazing!
I didn’t know Brad Thomas worked at Crye! That’s really rad!
You guys are great 👍
beautifully shot!
Hey Phoenix
I was once a machinist working in a company that made stop motion devices for the clothing industry until China copied our product and we went out of business. So nice to see Cyre products are made here in the USA. If their combat shirts are issued to US Navy SEALS, you know that it is a superior product..
I'm ready for the Crye Civic Type R
I have Eiger's hiking boots made with Cordura. Didn't know that it's made with the quality materials used in G3
CryePrecision are like Deltaforce of combat gear top tier. so i always imagine 5-6 muscular veteran ex-special force with full of tattoo long beard behind this great design of gears.
...and it turns out it's a couple of hipster looking metrosexuals. Gotcha.
@Hew Jarsols Nope.
Ive had Crye Drifires on order since June and apparently won't get them til years end. Hope I can get my hands on them before I get my butt sent overseas again...
@@NonStopActionJDog I sure did my guy haha. Ended up finding someone who had a brand new pair on my size sooner and cheaper so I cancelled the first order. I was a happy camper lol.
Why not just buy them from a website in stock with them so they can just ship it right to you
Just realized this comment was from two years ago
"The moment it's made, it goes out in a week."
Non-mil guys would like to have a word...
Crye Precision is very expensive! But their stuff fits great and is so awesome in the field!
U get. What U pay for! Ever hear that before!!@
Customer-oriented organizational vision - nice.
also product-oriented - very nice
Did you notice the guy in the beginning who listed all of their customers. The general public was not mentioned. Now they do allow access to their products, by the public. But their loyalty will be to the gov. Not the people.
start incorporating MARPAT. maybe my Corps will do something with Crye
Fuck No
@@mckenzieatwood9402 yeah marines good with it 😎😎😎
They only deal with special operations crayon eaters. The cooks and the admin marines have no need for Crye combat shirts.
They have crye combat shirt and pants in MARPAT just not for civi sales. Cuz the Corps has the EGA in the pattern and other b.s reasons.
Please make multicam woodland!
Ok that's cool and all but why is everything on their website 3x more expensive than it needs to be
Ok today is mid January, and I’m getting my crye Spc in July FYI anyone wondering wait times
Patagonia gang
J Brad!
Please please PUHLEASE make G4’s in solid colors.
I might be a civilian, but I do actual work in my G3’s and I have a dress code to follow.
G4s are gay
Gucci of the military clothing
Thicccccc Caleb Crye bb
"what do our customers need"
A pair of pants that's not $300 for one
At CORDURA® Advanced Fabrics, we pride ourselves on creating products that last. Our advanced innovation and durability make our products stand out from the competition.
UF Pro won't crye about it :D
Thats a good one
Cordura what i would like to know is, are you sourcing and assembling ALL of your materials within the United States? 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
No.
At crye we love our soliders... so we sell them cloths... like pants, at a low low price of 400 dollars .... PER PAIR. So cheap. Our tops come at a low low price of 2 to 300 dollars.
We think of the soldiers... we care and.. we want the money that they barely get paid...
Thanks crye
Jack Napier if you don’t get issued them you obviously don’t need them
@@vinhwatkins9969 That was the stupidest thing... and ignorant.
Maybe have a talk with your superiors about the trillions of taxpayer dollars you guys leave lying around, destroyed, thrown away, and shipped over to Europe now that we're done raping the middle east.
People work for that money that's stolen from them and given to the military for "defense." Maybe it's not being spent as well as it should be.
Yeah.. Buy once, crye once. But for 8 to 12 weeks while you wait for your order..
I LARP in my multicam black JPC 2.0.
Hey guys, where can you buy original Crye Precision G3 or G4 clothing in bulk? I need for 60 men first order. In the future there will be more demand. This is to support Ukranian battalions.
If anyone has any idea please drop your comments below....
Thank you for your inquiry, but we are not the right contact to secure actual CORDURA® Fabrics. CORDURA Advanced Fabrics is a fiber producer, not a fabric manufacturer. To purchase or acquire fabrics, we suggest contacting a fabric mill or fabric reseller that services your region. www.cordura.com/en/mills/mill-locator
Why doesn't Crye supply the NYPD uniform?
InkwellFoto Ive seen some ERT with Black JPC 2.0s. However I think majority are private purchase. I know LAPD got the gucci gear tho
They care more about money than the Country just keep that in mind.
That’s what happens when you have a contract with the government, Trijicon and Eotech are the same way and now that Vortex is getting some contracts their prices will skyrocket. Just wait in and 5-10 years Crye will be just another Condor or Blackhawk
M81
did cordura pay for this video? lol... seriously, the best thing about Crye is that they helped to revitalize the Brooklyn Navy Yards. forget Steiner, local textile manufacturers are coming back pandemic or not.
Condura made the video.
Meh when the military contracts end they will be as cheap as Condor and Blackhawk
"I think that's the most rewarding part of the job is knowing that the stuff that your're designing and making it's not a costume on a set..." - Wonder what he'll do when he finds out that airsofters are buying this gear in bulk so real warriors cant get it.
Real warriors can get it, if they can't, all they can do is blame headshed for being cheap. Like Beyond, they set aside stock for government users, show your credentials and you'll either get a discount or jump the queue.
There has never been an issue with Airsofters buying out Crye and causing supply shortages for Special Forces or the Military as a whole. That is the most absurd fucking thing I've read online this year. How did you even reach that conclusion?
@@DonZaloog88 airsofters don't even buy directly from crye 9 times out of 10
John Sjöström airsofters giving crye more profit = bad thing lol
@@DonZaloog88 Yea not for the military but it's hard as a civilian wanting crye gear but these airsofters buy all that shit up
Ugh and the Army just had to say no to Crye smh
Technically, they didn't say "No" as a whole. They simply won't deploy it to casual troops. Special Forces is a different story all together (as far as budget and gear is considered).
@Joshua Bressel well scorpion has no veritcal in the pattern and scorpion has more green into in.
@Joshua Bressel yea that's where the trick starts to work.I know Multicam I seen dozen of non licensed multicam copies.
Anyone concerned there's no actual engineers in the video, just fashion designer...?
Why are you pants high rise tho? So annoying
What’s wrong with her voice lol
