I totally disagree with DGP SIR point of view that it's diarchy present it's the distribution of power and it is necessary to have because concentration of power in one person without having any check and balance is not good and it can lead to conflict between officers and if this is so useful why not just end IAS OFFICERS post and put all relevant work done by him to be done by having whip of police and force people to obey rules and regulations See India is not a police state that only devoted in maintaining law and order there should always be an civil authorities above uniformed services and I don't think IAS OFFICERS are that immature that the can't handle law and order situation
Well,not experienced to say anything about the topic besides,just theoretical portion,what my concern is something will ur concern as well. Despite being already implemented in 61 cities earlier,what forces on ground to not coordinate properly so far as DMs and SPs are concerned ? . What message actually this move is trying to convey to the rest of the country,i don't know... Well,need to keep this element in mind to work effectively on ground...
