This is such an informative video Toby. I’ll probably watch this a few times to remind me of the various tips you have shared. Your talks and drawing examples are so fresh and easy to understand that it makes me want to drop everything get started right away. You have changed the way I see the world and draw and paint my own artwork. Thank you so much. You’re an inspiration for sure. 🙏
Another great video. This breaks down what is very intimidating to start with into steps that can be followed. I especially like your attitude regarding rules, etc... It is always good to practice and gain fluency with technique but then move beyond it. Technique in drawing is just a tool in the toolbox, no more than scales and arpeggios that musicians move beyond to create something creative.

Thanks Toby this is great again, good tips, ideas for improving and encouragement to practice! Also advice to continue to develop your own style rather than copy but accept that copying is fine just may not be as fulfilling, tho in my little experience this can sometime help with practice and understanding how to achieve something.
