  • Grid support modification done and action !
Grid now better insulated from ground.
Electricity High Voltage at 5600 Volts DC
We are having a wasp problem in some parts of New Zealand and these wasps are killing all our native insects, also these yellow jackets are very aggressive and sting multiple times.
This system works well, and I have also modified a Panasonic TV as wasp zapper which will feature in due course. [part 7] of the wasps series.
The wasps explode when touching or not touching the grids. Powerful design furnished by a Microwave Oven Transformator and a Capacitor voltage doubler. see part 2 for the schematic.

Very relaxing watching these bastards meet their demise.
Looks like the ants are having a feast on the exploded wasp guts, but they are small enough not to complete the arc path, and carry on unaffected, like a bird walking on a 50,000 volt power line...

+LakeNipissing The ants keep the area around the grids clean, perfect harmony and they are to small to get electrocuted.

and kill em without polluting anything and a minimum on energy effort. death is quick and the remains are food safe for all those ants already recycling :)
