I've got the ZD620 that I use for work. I didn't want to ship it out for repair. It was intermittently printing only half of the label. I cleaned some buildup from around the head and rollers, and snapped the head out from one side, and put it back in. It works great now! Thanks for the tips!
oh my goodness, I know this is not a recent video but this worked soooooo well on my zp450! Nothing worked for me and I was about two seconds from straight throwing the thing in the street! thank you so much!
..after replacing parts cobbled from ebay purchases for repair nothing worked. clamps around the shell helped for awhile but not for long and I was about to dump the $400 printer. Your tip did the trick. Cannot count the hours I have toiled, thank you good sir!
I appreciate the help! Been reinstalling drivers, and the only way I could get it to print was to hold the one side down while printing. This seems to fixed it for now. Thanks again!
I will be sure to remember this if and when mine acts up. Would you happen to know if the platen roller, bearings and gear are the same on the GX420D, GK420D and the same models but R2.0? I'm getting two different part numbers for what looks to me to be identical. Non R2.0 models has a part number of 105934-034 and the R2.0 model has a part number P1027135-039.
