@@Vault8166database There is a way to get to the farm without invading. It takes longer but is possible. I posted a video showing the offline/killed Varre if that helps

After defeating godrick the grafted, i had to go and see the two fingers at the round table before the man outside the cave at the beginning moved to the church. He told me to speak to the two fingers. When i did and went back to him at the beginning, he wasn't there and had left a sign for me telling me to go to the church.
When i first defeated godrick i kept going to the church and he wasn't there. I went and got a hug from that lady at the round table and he still wasn't there.
Hope that helps anyone who gets stuck with that too.

This is what I was looking for.
Same. I still have no fucking idea how to leg it to the bird from the teleport. Every fucking walkthrough goes the snowfield teleporter route.
When going to the church of inhibition, there's a tower above that tower a ball of fire appears that will drive you mad and kill you. If you climb there tower and kill the 3 or 4 NPCs up there it won't come back and you won't have to worry about going mad anymore. When I first went here I didn't realize that's what was making me die.

There's also a dead maiden in the first area, right before you open the door to Limgrave where Varre is first standing. You can get the blood from there too, and it's a lot easier than trying to get to the Church of Inhibition.
At the lake of blood, before you get to the site to farm the bird, you'll be invaded by a 'nameless white mask', that hits pretty hard with lots of bloodloss and has a spell that causes even more. You will be dismounted when you get to the area, but you can just outrun him.
Where is the dead maiden?

You have to use one of the warp gates at the Four Bellfreys.
It takes to back to the very beginning area, and you'll have to beat the Grafted Scion that killed you originally.

Hell yeah finally got to this spot and tried it out thinking it wasn’t gonna work and now I have 500k runes. I had the golden scarab talisman so that helped a little too getting to 500k. Got tired so tomorrow I’m gonna do another 500. Thanks man

Just a tip to add about Margit if you use the teleport chest in the dragon burnt ruins to get the rotten stray ashes you can let it scarlet rot him and just run around until the rot kills him easy peasy

2 years later and I am doing this. I got hit with the madness on the way to the Church of Inhibition. I had to level my Mind stat and I got the Clariyfing Horn Charm. Got there in the end and killed the NPC. Awesome guide mate.

Only issue I had with this is your route if you stay to the right of the mountain to get to the bird from the swamp it’s much shorter and there is only 8 solders and the main invader that you can hit the grace and ignore. But 👍
Agreed, now that I have experience getting there, It is definitely a lot easier to go to the right. In the beginning, it seemed easier to me to stick to the left so I didn't get disorientated. you can also go to the 4 belfries and take the one to the chapel of anticipation and there is a maiden there you can use

Theres a 2nd bird.. on a high stone pillar down on the left of the grace, where do you stand to hit him? Ive heard its possible?
I know where it is, I've never tried to look for it from up top. Seems like it would be too difficult or at the very least not time efficient. If you go down the pathway and hang left, you should run into that swamp area where all those birds are walking around. You may get invaded by the NPC if you haven't been down there yet. But, once you first enter that swamp area you should be able to see the bird on the pillar. Let me know if you're able to shoot it from the top, I'd be interested to check that out.

You can also use 2 rock sling spells. 1 gets its attention and the second hits him as he's investigating and then u back up and he runs off.

First tried the "four belfries" way but I screwed the two imbued key swords on the wrong transporters. Third key is hard to get. The alternative method in this video is way easier. Thanks man!

easier way of getting maidens blood is going and defeating the grafted scoin and then going to the area that you spawned when you started and then collecting it from the dead maiden in there

Hey y'all just wanted to share a resource free version of this farm.
Just use frenzied burst. Get up from the grace spot, run directly to the ledge, target the bird and do a full charge shot. You should hit the tree branch.
The bird will investigate the sound while you pretty much immediately charge up another full burst. This one should hit the bird and then it'll run off the cliff.
Quick. Easy. Auto aim. No arrows.
From there I like to go the albinaurics and hit them with the cold breath dragon breath. They're weak to that particular one. You do want cold breath, not borealis. Cold breath has a much better range. I'll usually pop a physic for no fp cost and faith boost for a couple free breaths.
I just bought max arrows and it refreshes to 99 now every time i visit a site of grace, just fyi I had no idea

Just a heads up for fellow travelers struggling with Sauron’s eye at the church of inhibition.
It is npcs casting a spell, nothing more. When you initially get around the mountaintop as shown here, you can hide behind rock cover approaching the tower. Now, if you keep to the left of the tower and hug the cliff side, there will be a air gust to jump up to the tower base. Do bear in mind however, the base of the tower has madness rats. You can avoid this by jumping with Torrent on the brick incline of the tower, the double jump inside it. Almost done. Climb the ladder to the top and kill the npc’s casting it, I would wait in between casts then sprint/climb up the ladder.
The Eye of Sauron should be gone now, and you didn’t even have to travel to Mordor. This will help you from getting ganked trying to reach the church. Have fun and take care.
