To answer the question of the Error Room: No, it isn't fixed yet. Whats going on is the error room was implemented as a fallback for people exploiting out of crawl spaces to get into a black market when they weren't supposed to get one, like going through the solid wall. However, an oversight makes it so that it considers you going into a black market as going "out of bounds", so all black markets lead to error rooms. There's a fix for this on the workshop somewhere.

Honestly instead of a fix, what i do is give myself a fool card when i find one to compensate for that bug.
Cause quite frankly, i do what i want after completing this 100% lmao

Hey Brett just a fun little combo. If you do Bethany+kamikaze+charm of the vampire all of the fires do explosive damage and you heal the heart it takes pretty fast.

Technically you can do this regularly. You just need blank rune, soul of cain, and the quicker charge battery. Free 3 red rooms

I absolutely love the red key because it is entirely possible to get this in a regular run and I know because I did it in corpse and became easily powerful enough to kill mother very quickly.
Btw: Sacrifice Rooms can still loop you in the Dark Room
So red key on most characters in the Dark Room = infinite.

Fun fact: The error room is a glitch that edmund didn't fix
There is a single way that I know of to get to the "I am ERROR" room, from chest/void/dark room, which is "blank card" + "? card", but it deletes your blank card afterwards

I’m sure someone has already said it but since one of the more recent patches there is an overwhelming chance that crawl spaces teleport you to an error room instead of a black market. It’s supposedly unintended and will be patched at some point
Maybe for a video idea: Aquarius, spoon bender, and firemind/Uranus. No shooting. Found it via IsaacGuru. And another idea: Book of the Dead on Tainted Judas with 9 volt. Infinite damage because you can dark arts charmed enemies.
Hey Tear long time watcher and Subscriber, only recently decided F it and made a channel to comment, I wanted to finally say how much I love the content you put out and that you've managed to make last few years amazing for me despite the several things that have gone wrong for me, I can always count on you to brighten my day and lift my spirits so Thank you even though you didn't know it you've always been there for me
Red key rooms are seeded (like everything else) and are based on the floor number you're on. This is really only important to know when you revisit floors you've already been to (namely, being able to loop between Mega Satan from the Dark Room to the Void Floor; and back using a red key sacrifice room). That said, if you end up in that scenario, always worth scouring both floors to the last to find a secret room pedestal for an R key. Almost got it last time I had the loop going, but my Dark Room had curse of the blind and so I eventually took enough items to break the draw count and force the void portal to not spawn after the Mega Stan fight.
The end card is grade A music to my ears.
By no means game breaking, just a fun combo I found during a run in playing rn. Portable blood bank + bloody penny = infinitely health and money

i know this video is from early august and its now september and thus brett is unlikely to see this, but I've discovered how to do this in an almost legit way, in the sense that you don't need to cheat that much:

the lil fires she summons with the red key have a chance to unlock more red key rooms when entering an unexplored room, so if you get alot you could in theory chain the red key rooms
The Red Key really blows the game wide the hell open. And I *love* it.
This makes me wonder if tear would like don't starve as I feel his comedy would gell well with it
He has played it a long, LONG time ago. Or at the very least he made one video on it 6 years ago.
Alternatively it would be amazing to see him play rain world given the games ragey nature lol

It's always inpressive how fast you can speak, and while I can speak fairly fast, even when getting close to your speed, my brain and mouth work at different speeds

You want a fun combo? Brimstone has changed it's synergies. Almond Milk/Soy Milk + Brimstone is a constant cannon that fires out. Give yourself spoon bender as well and it's a wacky wavy flailing laser.

if you have enough speed ups and size downs you can glitch through ALL crawlspaces in to the error room, you just fall through the ladder or run off the edge and FALL into the error room

hey brett, while playing repentance i found a fun little challenge during one of my runs, essentially its tainted judas, with as much speed as possible, with a melle item (mom's knife, the sword, etc) it gave me like a naruto ninja shadow vibe and i thought you'd find it fun
I do believe that the rule of thumb for ultra secret rooms is that they’re usually one red room away from a “special room” (i.e. item, shop, curse, sacrifice, etc…). That may not work every time but ay if a super secret room can be connected to the normal secret room then anything can happen.
AFAIK, they are diagonally connected to one non-red room. I don't know about them having to be special rooms or not, because Brett finds one diagonal to an L-shaped large room.

The exact rules are:
1. It needs to be connected to at least two red rooms that are connected to the standard rooms. This rule is why it always appears diagonally next to standard rooms.
2. It needs to connected to special rooms, but there's currently a bug in that this part includes ones that may have been removed at some point in map generation.
Dr. Fetus+scatter bombs+ghost bombs+ 5 latch keys=heat seeking ghosts, and 10 keys.
It’s good to be back, hopefully we will get four souls as well as more repentance content.

Hey brett I know it's kinda redundant now that this run has been done but I find a fun way to do a red key run without overdoing it, gulp 5/6 crystal key trinkets which open red rooms upon room completion and it goes until you either get cut off or find a room with no enemies
I had a run where I got red key in a challenge room opened the door below and found the ultra secret room, with book of virtues. All in the first four rooms.
the sad onion is #1 in the game's heart, as that's its internal id. hence it also gets deleted when spundown
bethany with "spin to win" is pretty fun

Way back in early Repentance I got Clear Rune and Soul of Cain, which is a two room charge that opens three rooms. About 5 minutes later I got 9 Volt from a red treasure room :)

Hey TearofGrace if you’re still doing debug requests here is one. Play as tainted forgotten and give yourself birthright, rock bottom, Polyphemus, and Loki’s horns. If I believe it works the way I think it is it would be pretty broken. (Tip, you might want to throw the skeleboi and use your ‘pocket item’ a lot)

Alright, so I came across a couple of busted builds... funny thing is, both only need like... 4 items max? And I picked those items up as a joke...
The first one, and you gotta do these in order...
Brimstone (Yes I know, sigh), Chocolate Milk, Almond Milk, Polyphemus. Reason why you use Almond instead of Soy is because the damage down isn't as severe as Soy.
The second one, in order again...
Haemolacria, Tech 0, Tech X, and Sinus Infection or the Nose Goblin trinket. It one shot the Lamb, and it one shot Mega Satan when I did it. And the Tech 0 electricity is continuous between all the boogers that SI or Nose Goblin sticks. Combine with Tech X, and the boogers stack, along with the electricity... I had to pause several times out of shock and laughter.

Better version: soul of Cain, blank rune, 9 volt. It only costs 1 to charge blank rune and you can open at least one room per use so it’s more efficient.
Quick tip for you: use the glowing hour Glass to undo your mistakes
