En Murphy's Farm (dentro de Cork City) hay una green walk que pasa por detrás del CIT, atraviesa Bishopstown e incluso te lleva a la que conocen como straight road (Carrigrohane Rd), en toda esa parte hay muy buenas vistas, se puede hacer ejercicio o simplemente ir a descansar. Forgive me posting in English, I have ZERO Spanish... Because you're travelling in Ireland I'm guessing you have at least *some* English? I do know that 'Guerrero' means 'Warrior' though, which I find fascinating as the Irish have a slang word, 'Gurrier' which would translate as, I guess, 'Street Hoodlum' (although more the 'rob your bags' kind-of-guy, rather than the 'cut-your-throat' kind of guy...) Admittedly it does sound slightly old-fashioned nowadays, you don't hear it as much as you used to up until the '70's and '80's, say. I always wondered did it derive from 'Guerrero'? Linguists here seem to prefer the idea that the word 'Gurrier' comes from a type of cake called 'Gur Cake' made from baking scraps, traditionally eaten by poor people - I've always found that theory a bit fanciful though. Seems rather more likely to me that the sort of person given to behavior like fighting on street corners would be more likely to be named after the word for 'Warrior' rather than the word for 'Cheap Cake', though I suppose the latter idea isn't entirely implausible. I suppose it might be pretty fanciful in it's own way, but perhaps romantically, I like to imagine that the word came to be used by the Irish, albeit in slightly altered form, as a reference to Spanish soldiers and sailors who survived the shipwrecks of the Spanish Armada and managed to come ashore here. Of course, most would have been killed on sight - but the Irish Catholic peasants would have sheltered them wherever they could. Or possibly it has a more recent historical origin; Irishmen fought on both sides in the Spanish civil war and therein lies a connection? Anyway it may be nothing, or maybe cheap cake is as interesting as it gets; but who knows? It's all, no pun intended, food for thought!!

¿Te refieres a perros callejeros? El gobierno cuida mucho esa parte. hay varias organizaciones para animalitos. Pero en general si hay muchos perritos (con dueño claro).
