OMG! I'm implementing my 2 F1's into my performance with my S4... Opens endless possibilities!!!! Just so AWESOME!!!! Honestly, lots to learn but OH SO WORTH IT!!!
traktor pro 2.5 comes with it. it does what you expect. it is possible to use it stand alone if your built in soundcard can handle it. however i can imagine it will sometimes be hard to fill a whole evening with the use of a single f1 for it can be hard to exchange your samples while taking care of the playback.
download this video its important i would have it on my usb for the future maybe your somewhere mixing and there no internet you just watch the tutorial video and your saved :)
can i use F1 as a standalone device (like a mpc/drumpad?) or do i need to connect it to kontrol s2/s4 , timecode cds-vinyls ... ? as far as i understand the software to control and map it, traktor scratch, comes with it.. right ?
By using the F1 it definitely doesn't make you a producer it might give you the upper hand in working in the crowd or a live set cause the F1 is hella cool and allows you to produce some madness that is super crazy, but to be a music producer you need to use products like Cubase, Ableton, Fruity Loops or even Maschine - or even hardware based items which for me is personally taking over my DAW.
Do Traktor's remix decks have "keylock"? (i.e. time-stretching when the tempo changes, rather than changing the speed and thus pitch of the sample). I've always wanted to trigger samples and loops, but Ableton doesn't really suit me as the tempo of my sets is fluid, and my playlists are never set in stone. I use Torq 2 by Avid (used to be M-Audio) but they seem to be falling behind the pack again.
man this shit seems complex, and it seems that you are basicly much stuck with the f1 for this, making your own mappings for this from scratch must be impossible!!

GREAT VIDEO
these controllers have so much potential, you could probably dj a whole gig with one controller if you tried hard
perhaps a basic remix deck/sample tutorial without the heavy F1 perspective sales pitch would be a bit more universally useful.
just bought a F1 right now :D

Remix Deck is like baby Ableton inside Traktor.

shift + capture same time then the sample you want to delete !

Time to get the F1 today. 6 hours until guitar center is open.
Is there a way to flip the F1 between different decks? In other words, once done with remixing deck A can I change it over to deck B? etc...
would this be good for beginners?
Can i call myself a producer if im using an F1 in Dj sets? Please help
Ya you could

Does anyone know how to delete a remix set from the finder inside traktor? Would like to 'unistall' a couple of the free sets.
Well, where the numbers are can i see your showing p1, but on my it's just showing 00. HELP!!!!!
is there a way to undo a deleted loop from a cell?

How about volume, is possible control different volume, mid, etc, for these different clips?
yes, is possible to control volume and filter
it's just me or they upgrade the Master Meter? why nobody talk abut that?
how do you save captured samples
une version Française c'est pour quand ?
woh!!! *.* amazing!!! I just use FL Studio :/
really ? i literaly just saw on techtools 3 other ways to control the sample decks, they do it with the midi fighter, touch osc and and lemur!
In spanish please, i don´t understand lo que están hablando.
not really. :/ unless you are using the F1 along with a track youve made yourself in Ableton Logic Cubase or FL Studio
i wouldn't

No. You couldn't. You aren't producing you are just triggering samples. That isn't producing. Go back to your corner.
