Kitchensafe - Time locking storage container I use to control alcohol consumption

- Demonstration of how I use the Kitchensafe to help limit my alcohol consumption but it can be used to limit access to anything that you need to limit access to - Tobacco, weed, sweets & chocs, videogame controllers & many more. The safe is made from food-safe plastic and is powered by 2xAA batteries.
My only gripes so far are:
A) They don't do one big enough for large or even standard spirits bottles, and buying small bottles works out around 20% more expensive. What I do now is buy a 1.5 litre bottle & decant the contents into the 350cl bottles shown in the video. The safe can hold 5 of these bottles but you need to place the 5th one upside-down in the centre so make sure you screw the cap on well! It would be a lot easier if they made one big enough for a full size bottle but apparently there are no plans to do this :(
B) They should lock it through the front & back holes, not just the side ones. Besides making it more secure it might give a better seal which would be better when storing perishable foods. Maybe they could even make it fully airtight?
best review ever
Many thanks :)
saved me bro fr
wish I had one
I'm buying one tomorrow for weed! I'm really in love with this product (from what i see online), it's such a great idea
@@KPenceable Hey Kyle I know your comment is a year old, but if there's any chance you might see this: How did the ksafe help with reducing weed consumption? I have a strange relationship with weed, been a heavy smoker for almost 10 years but can take forced breaks. Took a 3 day break purely out of willpower earlier this year. But most days I just can't seem to get it off my mind. I would like to eventually stop using every day, and limit it to occasions. If you could let me know how it worked for you id appreciate it thanks!
Can you tell me where to find good bottles for use with this? Can it fit Litre-size bottles?
If you're in the UK, Asda & Tesco both sell 35cl bottles like the ones in the video. You can fit four of them upright, with a 5th one upside-down between them, giving 1.75 litres total capacity. I still buy 1½ litre bottles for economy, but I funnel it into the 35cl bottles before having a drink. I emailed the company some time before I made this video asking if they had plans to, or would consider making a taller version that would contain a full-size spirits bottle. The reply was a straight 'nope' - Not even a 'thank you for your suggestion, but...' - As much as I love the product, I don't like the company's dismissive attitude to customer feedback.
Here's what I'm going with www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F3ZXNI8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Lock the bottle with a keylock mechanism... then lock the actual keys on the timed locking device that you have...
That's brilliant! That's probably why they're out of stock right now lol..
That "just one more" cycle is a real bitch. Wish the thing didn't cost so damn much. Though I guess there's incentive to not smash the thing like a piggy bank of gluttony.
I broke mine. Oh well. I accidentally set it for 2 days once.
