Four sarcophagi, and four columns, but the columns are not portraits, because they all look the same. Would you not have had more fun doing individual portraits? That's an advantage of carving over moulding - each piece of a set can be individual. Also, if the scenario led the PCs to be looking for the pillar of Haldruin the One-Eyed, then there could be more potential there. Good stuff, though. Tempted to have a go. The carving gloves look awkward to me. Perhaps they could make them to cover just the highest-at-risk bits of your hands.

oh wow! Thanks for the comment Lindy :D .. Thats a good point actually! I guess I was keeping it as simple as possible just to show the techniques... the attached tutorial is for this specific face shape. You should definitely give it a go. To be honest I never really wear the gloves, but with youtube I often get comments from 'Health and safety" / "PPE" nerds. So just demonstrating it for people not used to handling knives. Thanks again for watching and the comment ;)

It is hard to source it some times... honest answer is I got a friend in Germany to send me a box. There is green stuff you can get in the UK called Styrodur and it is great! But... you might only be able to buy it in bulk. Search for underfloor insulation sheets in the UK and then check that it is XPS foam ;)
