When cleaning suede how to you clean the erasers and brushes after. I’m about to start on some skate or die’s and I last used them on milli vanilli’s so the erasers are all pretty red

Craft stores will sell bags of processed leather remnants relatively cheap. The backside of these is suede, just rub and brush them clean on the suede side before you change to the next shoe.

I also need this done to my anchor man’s. The soles are fully hardened. No grip left. What’s donor sole from? Great videos

Wouldn't be as big of a hassle if these were Goodyear welted shoes. It's relatively trivial to replace a Dainite or Vibram sole on a pair of real-ass shoes. These glued together, cheap, disposable jobbies will never compare.

@Phafanapolis Assuming you mean vulcanized? The rubber still wears out on the bottom and then you have to vulcanize a new outsole which to me seems way more trouble than it's worth, no?

@aville01 the donor I used is called Maroon White Night, still available under retail most places. I pained over this match, that was the closest I could find.

Polyurethane can be tricky. First off you really should never use acetone on the polyurethane, it breaks down the polymer chains making it more susceptible to breaking down. If there's a clean surface on both sides, and they are both rigid enough to hold a bond, they should bond
