Taylor Lemoine it’s a proven fact that cuteness, especially in small animals cause aggression in humans.. for example (I want to hug you till your head pops) or whatever.. squeezing cheeks all hard.. not sure why tho.. but the feeling of wanting to protect it and making it happy should definitely be far more intense.. that why only weak ass bitches harm something so defenseless and innocent
OMG he is the most darling little thing. I just love their little noises and ways of communicating. They're so expressive and absolutely so freakin' adorable. How do you resist just picking him up and holding him all the time. My heart would be total mush all the time : )
I too am a huge Boo fan and I can say with certainty that Boo has a great life. I understand the argument about whether they should be a pet or not. I look at it this way, what if Boo and Remi were sold to a lab, instead of the families they are with ? How would their life be then ? The monkeys that are born to breeders will never see the wild, so they either go to a good home and get spoiled and pampered, or they have a much worse fate, if sold to labs etc. So, these families made sure these monkeys have a good life. I don't think someone went out and ripped Remi's little hands from the loving grasp of a tearful mother in the wild. He was bred in captivity. Yes, he will miss out on rain, cold, sickness, scarce food at times and an endless number of predators, poised to eat him alive. Instead, he has great care, a clean, warm home, toys and the best food money can buy. Plus, love and constant attention. Oh, and a You Tube channel. Given the choices, I know which line I would be in.
I'm with you on this one. The breeders are going to keep on breeding and selling these monkeys to whoever has the money to buy them, be it for a pet, or lab experiments; it's makes no difference to the breeders. These monkeys and their parents never lived in the wild and so they are much better off in a loving, human home rather than as a lab animal! As to how safe they are when they reach maturity I think an argument and examples can be shown for both sides of the issue. I don't know how old Boo is but he hasn't attacked his owner, at least not that we know of and yet I saw another video where a lady bought a baby capuchin pampered and loved him, etc. etc. took very good care of him and then one day when he was an adult he viciously attacked her, biting her everywhere he could leaving her with noticable scars. After all the investment she made in this monkey, her love, time, training, vet care, special foods, tons of toys, cage, his own room in the house she reluctantly accepted the fact that she had to get rid of him and was able to find a monkey rescue center who would take him. I imagine that rescue center isn't free either! I guess it depends on the nature of the individual monkey!
@@alphaone101 they need homes . If there weren't any breeders that would be great ! Not a reality and not an issue of supply and demand at this point . If one breeder stops than another makes more $ or at very least the same . Whenever theres a business thats profitable , but also questionable as far as being ethical , every breeder / consumer would have to stop the biz at relatively the same time! Its like crack dealers . You cant stop it unless there were no suppliers and consumers at the same time . Thats simply unrealistic and again these little dudes need homes , responsible owners who think of them as family members, not " pets " ! I can appreciate both sides but reality sets in and you have to deal with what's already happening as opposed to what if type of scenario.
I am looking forward to watching this adorable little monkey grow and watch him develop into adulthood! Please post all you can and often, haha. Thanks for sharing him with us. Hes gorgeous! Best of luck.
Yeah adult monkeys may not be as "playful" since they are wild animals. Also there hasn't been a new video in 4 years now. Did the wild animal show its true colors making them give it away?
Hey you guys should get Remi videos back on the RUclips channel. You are great folks with an extremelly adorable capuchin who has an awesome name to himself! _Post new videos!_ Remi deserves to be showcased/highlighted to the world! 💚💛Cheers from Rio! New subscriber. 💗🙉🐵👍
No new videos in 6 years. Remi has probably been rehomed or put in a sanctuary. Baby capuchins typically cost about $5,000 to $6,000 just to eventually be rehomed because they stop being sweet/cuddly and become hormonal and aggressive. That’s a lot of money wasted.
MrBcooper32 I planned on making a video of giving him a bath.however, the truth is he is so young that he is still learning what a bath is that being said sometimes when we out him in the water he makes some unusual noises, nothing terrible, they're just distinctly different from his normal noises. So I feel that if I do post a video of giving him a bath people will think that he is scared for his life or that I'm abusing him. And while he is probably little frightened of baths at this point in his life, we must train him to understand that baths are normal, you know what I mean? So with that being said I feel like it is better to wait until Remi is little older and little more comfortable with baths to post a video of him in one! Thank you for asking!!
Remi The Monkey i see your concerns. But the truth is the "Legend in Their Own Minds" imaginary Activists will say nasty demeaning things no matter what, or HOW you treat your baby. On top of that, you will be lectured as if you invented monkeys as pets. So sorry. There are extreme trolls hangjn out for your demeanment in particular.
I would love to have a monkey so bad but I don't know how to look up if it is against the law in my city, state, and county to own a monkey. And I am not sure how to..
And 2020? I have a feeling they probably do not have Remi anymore...about 90% of all pet baby monkeys are gotten rid of by the time they reach maturity!
So whatever happened to Remi? I suppose you either ended up getting rid of him (happens to about 90% of pet baby monkeys by the time they reach maturity or you somewhat lost interest as the newness (and baby cuteness) were off and now he doesnt gey nearly as much attention...or RUclips time. Could you please maybe just let us know what's up with Remi these days? Of course you don't owe us an explanation or anything but it would be really nice to know since people build up fans and people started kind of care about things like this and then bam we never hear anything else it's kind of disappointing and sad
Adorable however why to the people filming monkeys think that the viewer wants to see it slobbering on the lens, or it’s hand grabbing at the camera. This one was only few seconds a pop but some let it go on half the video 🤪
Elisha Neal much like a child or any other pet it is all about how you raise them, most people do not seem to understand that. If you raise them poorly and give them minimal amount of attention than they will consequently grow up to be aggressive. Thank you for asking!:) Good luck!
They can get mean if you don't spend 24/7 with them say if you work a 8 hour job and leave it alone yeah they will get mean you have to treat it like a human baby someone with it all the time if not you will have issues it's a giant commitment and a expensive one too
OMG! How can you resist just picking him up all the time and loving on him. I would fall into a cuteness coma.
Julie W OMG!!! Really?
Oh, same here. I would die if I didn't get to cuddle the little booger all day, everyday, if he were in my charge.
Taylor Lemoine idk you’re fucked

Remi is curious. i cant wait till he starts jumping and climbing. thanks for sharing. looking forward to more.

Randy Porter boo was fine by himself why they have to get a shot like that
Now that's a well thought out argument I have to say .. a rare thing these days sadly
