    The large cell clear bubble wrap is a great idea to add insulation but still have light. Well done.

    Ok so putting those magnets in there let me know in the spring after you’ve had a lot of snow thawing on your roof if you’re having leakage. I know it’s a shower, but water can also seep up under the ceiling parts too. I don’t know if I’d like doing that.

      Yes roof leaks are always a concern. I don't think the cover or magnets will change anything. The water would just go out the sides of the cover if there was a leak.

    Another great video love watching you videos is there a link for the weatherstripping that you put on the slide

      I used this one. amzn.to/49YDS0H
      Installing it was tough. With the slide out, I took measurements from the inside edge of the slide to the wall (existing vertical seal). Then, with the side in, I installed the seal. You can barely reach your hand in, and it took two people to stretch the seal, and get our fingers inside to adhere the seal. I used wooden long shims to put pressure on the seal so it would stick. There may be better methods, but this was the only way I could do it.

    Buy a dehumidifier if your RV windows have condensation

      Only the bathroom window will get condensation after a shower. All other windows are pretty good . We do have a dehumidifier, but do not run it when boondocking but use it with hookups. We save the battery for heat, fridge,starlink, etc.

    I have one question
    Are you concerned about condensation between the white panels and the factory walls ?

      @rvlifediy  8 месяцев назад +1

      In theory yes, but in practical use, I've only seen condensation on walls in the bathroom where the aluminum framing is behind the panel. For the living areas, the white closed cell foam seem to actually help from preventing condensation. You can feel the cold aluminum framing with your hand where two corners meet, but where the white foam is on, it seems more tolerant for condensation.

    I don’t get this. You bought a four season RV, but you still have to do all the stuff. It feels me. I return that thing. That’s why I’m thinking to build my own RV.

      If I had the time, I would build my own as well. Yes this should be better out of the box from the factory.
