Shuffle T did a watchback of his battle in Australia where he was saying you should always try to go first against someone on a home battle. He was saying that, otherwise, the crowd sees the person they came to see and then they've had their fill, basically - which felt like what might've happened to you. I don't remember too clearly, but I thought some of your material early in your round was even like "you can/might say x to me," which doesn't work when the other person's already gone. But either way, it was a good battle with solid performances from both of you, and nobody's going through battle rap with an unbeaten record anyway. Long as you're good next battle, this won't matter, it's just something to learn from

It's a lot of variables in that battle. Geechi took the air out of the room with that round because of the material and the fact that he went first. That round as brutal as it was was crafted to the maximum. I don't think ANYONE could've matched and survived that round if they stood in front of it and Geechi went first. One thing nobody can ever take away from Mike is that he actually RAPS better than 90% of the league. Only a select few of his peers can get on his level in that sense.
To some of us it does matter though. Regardless of overall win or loss based on whatever intangibles are at play, there's one element of the battle Mike almost always wins & that's the rapping portion. As a quality by itself it doesn't determine a battles outcome but it definitely keeps certain fans loyal & appreciative. And respectfully, I don't think fans choose who to support in the culture based off their win / loss records.

I think daylyts take on this battle was spot on.
It's a lot of variables in that battle. Geechi took the air out of the room with that round because of the material and the fact that he went first. That round as brutal as it was was crafted to the maximum. I don't think ANYONE could've matched and survived that round if they stood in front of it and Geechi went first. It's sort of a Deja Vu too... Remember that round you had for Danny Myers? 🤔
it's the same when math battled hollow it's the angle math took other then that his material wasn't better then hollow. sometime the angle will overshadow the other battles material it happens plus the crowd as well

To some of us it does matter though. Regardless of overall win or loss based on whatever intangibles are at play, there's one element of the battle Mike almost always wins & that's the rapping portion. As a quality by itself it doesn't determine a battles outcome but it definitely keeps certain fans loyal & appreciative. And respectfully, I don't think fans choose who to support in the culture based off their win / loss records.
