Fastest Orthodox book review - the spiritual world of Isaac the Syrian

The Spiritual World of saint Isaac the Syrian by Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeyev is a great introduction to the writings of Saint Isaac. The author covers themes like god, divine love, solitude, trials, and Temptations, humility, tears, prayer, life with God, and life in the age to come. Its a great intro that really makes you want to read the original text of saint isaac.

Alfeyev is an amazing author, christ the conqueror of hell is one of the best orthodox books imo.
