Great video series so far, but I can't be the only one who hears at just after 6 minutes: C: "I'm Chris Boden," R: "and I'm his car wreck." I had to roll back to double check.
Hey! I am starting up the second leg of my CNC training at red river college, and these videos would have been immeasuraby helpful to me last year. I will make sure all the green guys in the program watch (and like, subscribe) to your videos. One suggestion for improvement: Vanna White could be next to Iscar Rick instead of Chris.
I have an SR-100 (about 4 years old). When it was being installed, the Haas rep told me to always move the machine away from zero before shutting it down - so I always take a couple of seconds and jog it a little off before powering down. While it's clearly an inconsequential issue, I wonder if that is actually necessary.
Good afternoon Mr. Chris Boden your videos are amazing the greek group>> I start programming and I am very interested to learn how to use machines Haas, I have a project at this time for a company and need support
Great video! I operate a similar model from Haas, but rather than hit Power up to send X,Y, and Z home, I use the Home/G28 button then the E-button and Off. Not really sure if that is an acceptable practice.
I think it's ridiculous that Haas mills are set for the table to be all the way off to one side to be powered down. "It won't hurt a thing" I kinda doubt it over a long period of time and if you consistently had a lot of weight on the table.. Seems like poor engineering decision to me.
Very cool video! Looking forward to the next part of the series.

Looking forward to seeing more.
Would love to see a video dedicated to that tool setter.

What happens if the power goes out when the machine is working?
I’ve never sent em home before shut off 🤷🏾♂️
