I'm 39 and Voltron was my favorite cartoon as a kid. The theme song still sends chills down my spine today. I had no idea Bandai was making newer toys that look a LOT like their original version but with obvious improvements. I want one of these. I had the black lion and a friend had the yellow and green. we never got to make a full Voltron, we were all poor, lol.

He clearly loved the design of the figure even though he wasn't a fan of the series. Anyone would love it, it's beautifully made. Just because Jobby isn't a 'real fan' or whatever doesn't mean he's 'defiling' the figure by cracking a few jokes about dick-size and weaponry.

I just received my Soul of Chogokin in the mail tonight, and I've been checking it out - as an old school Voltron guy, this couldn't really be any better than it is. Pose-ability is a 10/10. Looks, 10/10. I'd been seeing it on Amazon for $700+ in the past several months, but last week finally saw it for a little over $400, so I grabbed it. I'm not sending this back 😁

Went to the local hobbytown today, lo and behold they had this magnificent bastard in the case. I had to buy it. Voltron was the first toy that i ever ordered from a magazine back in the 90's and it's going to feel so good having my old toy and this one side by side.
The Chills bit made me giggle.
A while ago I grabbed three godzilla toys and took them to my crush and made kissing noises while shoving them at her face. We've been happily married for 5 years now

My uncle Scott actually grew up with Voltron and he actually got me a tin with DVD’s of the entire cartoon and even gave me his old Voltron figure, I might need to tell him about this set!
