It was bad all around. I agree about the face masks and play clock infractions but they also missed a bunch of false starts on USC. It was one of the weirdest officiated games I've seen in a while.

Thank you for your insight regarding USC recruiting after this game. I’ve been trying to quell these negative thoughts about what this game does to USC recruiting. I felt like our guys did an amazing job of playing a top notch and physical Michigan team with an elite defense and a much better and revamped offense with Alex Orji at the helm. I’m very proud of our team and the way they adjusted and ramped it up in the second half. In the end, there was no real loser and no reason for anyone to hang their heads in shame. It could have gone either way. FTFO!!! ✌️👍🤙
Oh please, Reilly play calling w awful and cost them the game. And why did it take Lynn 2 quarters to stack the box-hell I would put 8 in the box they were never going to hurt you passing the ball. And our wide receivers re nothing special. No team with playoff ambitions can have upperclassman dropping balls like yesterday. . Reilly wasnt up to the moment or the flow fo the game. Myles shoudl and will de commit and if so so will juju. We need an a Leo OL coach, and signal calller on offense, we are stuck with Reilly, so you cna expect an asst change this off season res Ipsa loquitur.
How do the refs miss those 2 blatant facemasks on Moss, and especially that blindside block that sent Lemon to the hospital. Can't forget not double checking the 4th and 1 that clearly was short.
@DOOMSTARKS-ib4flwere the announcers lying when they kept brining up the bias throughout the game? What abt the fans of other teams that agreed with me
I thought rhe refs were really biased and it hurt usc but the play calling was terrible i dont care what game it is the refs should in no way have a influence in the game terrible
Absolutely Not. "I'm a Trojan fan" It's a hard early loss, but in no way will it effect recruitment at USC. It's more about how you finish especially going Forward and enduring an early loss. SC will learn from this game and make the necessary Changes!✌️ Michigan was the better team today. Congrats 👏
Must be true you're a Trojan fan 😂😂 wtf does that have to do with the conversion. If you were a Bruins fan saying this I wouldn't believe you. USC hasn't done 💩 in a couple decades and California is a shithole
Lincoln lost us the game. Period. Up 24-20 and we need to bleed the clock and he goes away from the one guy who was punishing the michigan defense in quinton joyner and instead calls 2 passing plays which stopped the clock both times. He overthinks, he tries to get too cute and its really getting old now. Run the frickin rock its not rocket science. Also fire Josh Henson our O-line has been atrocious these past 3 yrs
After this game Kalel Mullings is averaging 8 yards per carry (53 carries). He's a monster! Now Donovan Edwards seems to be finding his groove too, but that fumble was costly. You can't do that! Still, the Orji-Edwards-Mullings triple threat is scary for a lot of defenses out there that were built to stop a pass-heavy offense than an old school smash mouth one with a two-minute drill consisting of nothing but running plays. But if Tim Tebow can win a Heisman and a natty with his arm, as well as get himself drafted in the first round, then I believe Orji has a good chance of leading this team to the playoffs. Seriously, how much worse than Cade McNamara could Orji be at throwing the ball? Will Howard had a career completion rate of 58% when he transferred to OSU and he is being looked at as some kind of savior even though the best defenses he faced last year were Troy and NC State. Sorry if I feel the bar isn't really that high for QB's to win games in college football. Davis Warren was even able to stumble his way to a 2-1 record with all his INTs, hand-offs to ghost running backs, and no ability to rush the ball himself. The more comfortable Orji gets as a starter and the more defenses commit to stopping the run the more opportunities will open up in the passing game. I like how Frederick Moore is getting more involved. If we can get a healthy Colston Loveland back soon the dynamic of this offense could develop into something special each and every week.
Michigan had help from refs and this guys warns to ignore that. Also, Lincoln cost the game because all he had to do is run the ball vs throwing shovel passes.
As a longtime B1G fan I don't have much interactions with fans from USC. Is this how they respond to every loss? I mean, this happens to every team sometime... Just wondering if I'm going to see lots of whining when the Trojans come up short against B1G teams this season. This isn't the last loss for USC this year.
I remember watching his high school highlights several yeas ago and thinking he was a "Jabrill-light", as in he was an excellent athlete capable of doing a lot of things for Michigan. He's such a good athlete. Watching him keep pace with or flat-out outrun defensive backs that weigh 30 lbs less or more than him it makes me smile. He, Donovan, and Orji are a three-headed running threat like we haven't seen in college football in a minute.
I remember the game and every TD run and seeing holding, the last one USCs #6 was bear hugged. Something didn’t seem right, never seen a game of 40 plus run plays and not one holding penalty 😉 good win tho
The officiating is compromise due to viewership in keeping a big fan bases like Michigan’s relevant in obtaining a CFP spot… Michigan showed heart and grit, so we have to give them credit for that, but USC is a clearly better team… Let’s move forward and FIGHT ON! ✌🏾
“Refs gave them the game” “Only 3 big plays” “that ranked team sucked anyways” if I had a dollar for every time those comments came out after a Michigan win over the last 3 years I’d be rich 😂
Absolutely not! If I’m a recruit or family member I see the blatant lack of play calls and the bias that kept Michigan in the game. SC was robbed and Stevie wonder could see that
USC got more yards than Michigan, refs were the worse, they could have won it, they played with Michigan on the same level, they could meet again in the championship game or the playoffs .
Couldn’t tackle? More than half of those yards came on 3 plays. So how’s that not tackling? And one of those big runs shouldn’t have happened at all because SC stopped them on 4th down. The next play was one of those long runs for a TD. Should have been off the field. But the refs got the bag on that one. One of the TD was a pick 6. If Michigan was so big and bad and SC couldn’t tackle why did they only score 2 legit TD’s on the ground???
Hey 🖕! Talk shit all you want , you live in the Midwest , where it freezes in winter and you guys sit inside your houses, drink beer, watch Michigan football and smell your own farts. This is the only thing going on in your sorry life. Btw, see you in the playoffs, it’ll be different then !
Look, yes the officiating was equivalent of the past PAC12 crews, just nauseating, but can’t blame the loss on them. If Moss doesn’t throw a pick six, if the end squeezes the hole on the Michigans last 4th and 1, and Cobb scrapes like he should and fill that 7 gap and make that last tackle, that’s 14 points right there. So that’s 24-13 USC, two simple plays that are made 99/100 times. USC finally saw what their offensive line was made of, and changes definitely will be made. Elijah Page was stuck in cement, kid has no clue how to move his feet, and got his lunch money taken away. That’s all on coach Henson, I’ve a former coach, no way is that acceptable for a D1 starting tackle.
