@@Lord_Numpty Mad dog style in general is just not...good. Even at the barebones, they gave DoD a lot of utility in this. Legend remix mod improves both a lot

Not very many people stumble upon getting the mad dog style on their first playthrough, let alone a blind one at that. That's dedication, and a well earned one at that. First time reactions like this are very rare to come by recorded
Tbf. Bae REALLY loved the cabaret side quest.
To be fair, Cabaret mini game is really fun.
Cabaret Club is a helluva drug.

Well then, she should have no problem acclimating to how Majima is portrayed in other games then.
Honestly this was my biggest concern, given her initial reactions to him.
Coming back to this, she hit a bit of a rough patch at the start of Y1 because Main Story Majima is basically a different character, but has thoroughly embraced running into Majima all the time, shouting "Majima? Majima? Majima?" up and down the streets of Kamurocho.
She also unlocked herself as Mad Rat of Shimano lol

Talk about Shimano I think one think Y0 did bad for the series is it overhype Shimano.
In Y0 he is so smart and scary I expected him to be like Palpatine or Kingpin since he have Majima as his ultimate weapon too.
And then I playing Kiwami I'm so disappointed that he's just a musclehead boring villian not even a main villian of the game.

When I unlocked this in game I went around collecting as many different daggers I could with Majima. Then I would equip them right before I could perform the finisher just so I could see how the different daggers look in the animation.
Bae usually didn't seem that chaotic or out of reality as her peers before but man after that giggling while Majima stabs people I finally see it
During the long battle, she didn't say a word for like 15 minutes. Only crazy giggles as she was slicing and dicing.
It was only broken by her reading a tip in chat about a move she wasn't aware of.
Bae's reactions to everything in this game are SO great, girl convinced me to finally go play Yakuza for myself after all these years I've put it off
I got into them finally in honor of a certain Dragon and hey. I'm up to date from 9 to 7 +Judgement (still missing Isshin and Lost Judgment).
It's on hell of a trip, thats for sure, you're gonna love it
Yeah, her reaction made me want to platinum yakuza 3, 4 and 5. Just left with these 3 to 100%. And lad 8 later.
Start with Y1/2 on PS2 emulation if you can. The wait until you get to 0 is so much more worth it as you scale up and see how the series has changed + not as jarring going from 2 to 3 + each game feels more faithful to the year it came out

People seem to have forgotten that Bae is the Chaos of HoloCouncil.
It’s been a real treat watching Bae play this game because of how invested she has become with the characters.
She saw how insane and sadistic he gets in EARLY mad dog style yet can’t cope with him like a decade later being unhinged

Kiryu never kills; Majima has definitely killed before (but yeah, not yet in this game, so your point still stands).
@@GDIGhostStalker Majima definitely kills people in the later chapters like the rooftop battle or his final rampage, in the former of the two he makes that very explicit
He, indeed never kills. He just gives his enemies disabilities that are worse than death.
It was interesting to see Bae crazy joy as a result of Majima's learning the legendary style.
Now I can't wait to see her play Kiwami and learn that she need to fight Majima in that style
It's kinda easy to counter and fight him after you unlock the Brawler's Counter Punch (forgot the name of the move but it acts the same like Tiger Drop with stunt )
Totally makes sense that the Chaos Rat loves the Mad Dog.

We really need her to learn "Essence of Coiling Strike" from the Breaker style before she finishes the game. Especially since she removed the locked parts of the skill tree from doing the cabaret club.

I like how everyone who's ever gotten so far into the cabaret club side story and getting this fighting style is SO HYPED. Also my reaction when I first got it, I'm always appalled and delighted whenever I used it.

My favorite part of watching Yakuza obtaining another fan; the part where they discover that one heat action they just can't stop using. Mine was the Elbow Smash Kiryu gets from the old guy for his Brawler Mode. That and of course Essence of '88.
