Thank You to the Men and Women of Border Patrol, for the Excellent Work that you Do! Thank you for intercepting dangerous items ( like drugs) and preventing their entrance into the Country! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
It would be so much easier & nicer if people would stop with the drugs & stop the lying!! The woman from the US, with the bananas, has to understand that fresh fruit & veggies, among other things are not allowed in some countries...she doesn't need to be so nasty to Customs officers. When you travel, you are an ambassador of your country...people should take that more seriously!!
The mother (and father) who were carrying their daughter's personal effects into the USA should have known better. The issue isn't that their daughter has definite plans (soon) to marry her American boyfriend, but that their daughter at this point is proven to have cut her ties with Canada (quitting her job) and is no longer just a tourist who will return home after a short stay. The mother kept lying to the agents. It's appropriate that they were denied admission based on carrying goods belonging to another person. Fortunately, the agents did not choose to impose an exclusion ban from future entry to the USA, though it's likely that on future visits they will receive increased scrutiny from CBP officers. Finally, they need to get the message to their daughter that she must find out how to obtain some sort of residency visa from American authorities, this may require finding an immigration lawyer. Needless to say, if at any time the daughter leaves the USA to return to Canada, she will find US re-entry to be exceedingly difficult as she no longer can claim to be a tourist.
I went through the k1 fiancess visa process for my wife then green card and now got citizenship interview next month. People need to go through the legal process to get a greencard or citizenship.. it costs alot of money and sucks going through the process but alot of people have been deported after living in usa for a long time the gov does not care if you are not in a legal status
The effect on the countries agricultural sector with imported insects and infection can be even greater danger or equal to the damage from bombs or shootings so both types of damage is terroristic. 😢
My late husband forgot he put an apple in our case in France. He intended to eat it at the airport, but forgot. Fortunately the didn’t find it, we were both surprised when I I packed our bags to find the apple.
It’s not. We have so many invasive species causing havoc and seem to get new ones every year. Ok Americans don’t care about bio security. That’s cool but maybe they’ll care about not getting fined.
I'm confused; she can't bring in bananas but the father and son can bring in something they have killed in Canada? I understand the agricultural reasoning, but foreign meat isn't allowed either. Isn't Canada foreign? My friend was stopped because of vacuum sealed cold cuts from Spain, but an actual recently killed animal?!
Meat is usually allowed into the US. The only animal that is usually banned is pig. You were probably trying to bring in something that had pork in it.
US Border Control sees a rotten banana: that’s a security threat! US Border Control sees hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants coming into the country from southern borders: I ain’t seeing nothing
Bananas aren’t a security threat- they’re an agricultural threat. Can you imagine bananas walking around committing crimes? Actually, that’s pretty funny. 😆
US Border control agents down here are totally overwhelmed.... ask any citizen of a Southern border state...Texan here. It's bad. But thankfully, not for much longer! 🤠❣
Why would you fine someone for bananas? They don’t grow them in the US. That being said, bananas are all from the same place, due to over industrialism in farming
Ignorance is no excuse. She doesn’t believe people are doing “bad things” in the US showing she couldn’t care less if she brought pests back with her. She knew she had the bananas and was definitely a banana crook.
@@jpbaley2016 totally. "I don't believe in laws because nothing bad ever happens that should be illegal, incidentally I'm definitely not breaking any of laws I have no respect for"
It’s a serious economic threat. One infestation can wreck an entire season’s crop or worse, can devastate the planting soil until the infestation can be eradicated.
Do you think the mother could have gotten away with her lies if the officers hadn't found those cards?
9:25 - “I’m not going to court for bananas.” That’s too funny. Customs doesn’t monkey around.
Who ever runs this RUclips account, should have had that as the title. It's the perfect click bait.
US CBP can be stricter than the Australia Border Force
Funny part, I had to watch it twice.
That officer was being passive aggressive and was upset when the passenger pushed back at her fear mongering. Hence, $300 fine for bananas. Evil.

But the traveller still has to pay for her bananas before she can split 😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂After last night, I totally needed to laugh. Thank you for making me do that.😻
What happened to the whipped cream. ?@@PaulaDautremont
@@dianapeek6936 It was whipped so it gave up.
😂
That banana woman was a nasty sort.
Yes, her brain didn't connect with the memory of the bananas. Sux to be her😂
WHY DIDN'T SHE SURRENDER THEM?
Earth mother and all her special nutritional items. What a fraud.
She knew she had those bananas
I feel sorry for agro culture specialist. Dealing with such nerves rack is a challenge

He's going to call Canada. 😂😂
Phone picks up and it's literally a moose wearing a Mountie's uniform in an office in Ottawa
$300 fine for BANANAS??!!??
Uncle Sam isn't clowning around, particularly as this cranky lady really copped an attitude with the officer.
Why the Australian border force looks for much more professional than those in the US...

Please, she should get the same rights all all those global invaders. Riding their cars, speaking in their foreign languages, and flying their flags.
300 bucks for bananas buuuuut, you been warned 🤪

Terrorism actually has a specific definition
I pretty sure that America has bananas.
Not infested with insects not native to our country

"I don't think people are doing bad things in the United States." Apparently, that rock you're living under doesn't have communication capabilities.
Anyone else think the one guy looked like a younger Joe Pesci?
Most definitely could be his little brother! His cousin Vinny!
Build that wall and build it high
These are flights rube
I thought❤ the border guard said 'fossils".
Oops, he said 'parcels'.😮
Smuggling is a criminal act
No kidding
I love beagles😊
Yeah
Don't want guns coming into the gun country??
Don’t want illegal guns coming into the gun country. Legal ones are fine.
That was a bit harsh with the bananas
That was a high fine just for bananas
The fine should be higher when you cop an attitude.
Undeclared fresh fruit? She got off cheap.

Canada is in North America and pretty much the same native plants and animals
Just go to the southern border, it's open !
Not for long.... 🙂

The mother should have flown to Mexico and crossed there. They let anyone come in without a passport or vetting.

Ummmm. they ARE grown in the US...ever been to Florida?!
Go to an Asian Grocery store. Thai bananas are about 3-4 inches long with about 15 or so in a bundle.
No
I seriously think that quarantine need to realise that someone can inadvertently forget bananas etc though. Not all people are banana crooks!
