I love Indy - I've done two Transatlantics aboard her. I've had a connecting room door in my stateroom before, and if I can help it, will avoid it in the future. You get a lot more sound through it than through a regular wall, especially if you have loud neighbors (and even normal conversation). Just thought I'd pass that along. Great video!

Thanks for the compliment. Yea we've found it depends a lot on the ship, but that is a common complaint. If both sides doors are closed, it can help but if one side is open, it makes it miserable. Thanks for pointing that out for other viewers.

I'll be on the Independence Of The Seas Ship in late January for the 70,000 Tons Of Metal Cruise. I can't wait for it. It was on the Freedom Of The Seas Ship, this year. One thing I'll miss is the "El Loco Fresh," restaurant.

That is awesome! I'm sure its gonna be a great cruise, with better music! El Loco Fresh is great, but I actually enjoyed the Fish n Ships as well. Huge pieces of flaky cod. Have a rockin' time.

@amysturnkeytravel Yeah! I heard that Fish N Ships is good from several different sources. The thing I enjoyed most, one of the things I'll be looking forward to in January, is relaxing in a Hot tub while watching a live Heavy Metal Concert.

Going on her 2025, have done Symphony, Anthem and Explorer. My friends love this ship so looking forward to going on her 🫶

That's awesome, we haven't been on Symphony yet, but we've heard great things. What was your experience on her?
You're gonna love Indy. She is fantastic. Up until our last sailing, the freedom class was our favorite.

Are you talking about the "El Loco Fresh," place on the Freedom Of The Seas Ship?

Nice! where the shirts on sale or standard price on the promenade? Ill be cruising in may and if I could save a shirt to purchase a shirt LOL that would great!

They had two sale options. One was 50% off select shirts found on a single rack. The last sea day they offered the 2 for $30 t-shirt sale. These will be set up on tables out on the Promenade.

So glad you had a good cruise. Strongly recommend a first time cruise is at least 7 nights. Short cruises tend to attract the party crowd and are too short to really soak in the cruise ambiance! Nice video! How were the public areas, did they feel crowded? Was on Explorer and it was super crowded, one cafe way too small, not enough seating.

We love the Freedom class and they never really feel crowded, even on sold out ships.
We also enjoy long cruises. Sometimes work doesn't allow for the longer sailings and that's where the shorties come in. Just enough time to escape to paradise.

@@amysturnkeytravel Thanks for your reply and info. Have been working my way up to the larger ships. Going on Anthem for a b2b in April followed by a side by side. Don’t usually have this much time away from work, part of a long overdue vacation/sabbatical. Adventure after that. May try Indy next year!

We just got off Adventure and should have a review coming soon.
