Last week, hundreds of Tibetans who have served in the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) traveled from many parts of the world to gather in Dharamsala to offer a Long-Life Prayer Service to the Dalai Lama. The occasion became the largest gathering of Tibetans who took part in creating institutions in exile from the early 60s. During the gathering, organized panel discussions focused on reflecting and rethinking the critical role of this institution for the future of Tibet. Kunleng invites Jigmey Jungney, former Secretary of the CTA, and Thupten Wangyal, Deputy Secretary of the CTA, to discuss these reflections and reimagine the role the CTA has played in carrying out the Tibetan struggle in the past and moving forward in an ever-changing world.
