I am the youngest of 5. My job was always folding towels and putting them away. And cleaning the bathroom. But I couldn't clean the toilet till I was older. Believe I started at 4 or 5. Otherwise, my mom did the all laundry. Summertime we hung clothes outside. I can imagine how much you get in a week. But everyone has their own routine, which works best for them. Keep up the awesome work.. Not everyone could handle what you and your husband do for your family.

I might have missed it but why not wash at home? Even if you don’t have the hookups with all the extra money spent in random things I would invest in that. Unless it’s just easier for you to take it all to a laundry mat. I think a washer ans dryer at home would make this easier. You could have a schedule and wash two people’s dirty clothes each day then have the older kids fold and put away their own laundry.

I was wondering the same thing. Both my kids had their own basket for their dirty laundry so when they needed to wash they took their clothes washed, folded and put them away. They were as young as 5 years old when I taught them how to do this. They even had certain other chores around the house. My son, now 29 is teaching his autistic 6 year old son how to do things for himself and he likes to help.

She has said it’s easier for her to just do it ,it’s all about the content to make this video and she doesn’t want to subject the kids to this type of labor because if she does she will have to pay them some of the royalties from this video now is that a good thing I don’t know if it is or not and maybe she does have them do chores when the camera is off I don’t know that either I would hope so for many reasons we won’t go into that could hurt them in the long run as they navigate thru life. ❤

‘Alisha the inefficient mom’. 1) spend your time training your kids to help the household and help themselves (parenting). 2) buy the right equipment to get the quantity of work done effectively (family math 101). 3) redo your garage into a large family laundry room (hire an electrician in the process). 4) make efficient non-custom meals and only what will be eaten (stop the waste of time and materials, therefore reduce storage and trash). 5) stopping here for my own sanity.
