That video went viral for me back in the day. I think it is a pretty decent job, but I would have loved to had the opportunity to correct and polish the paint. Thanks for watching these old classics, Barbara.
Yes, I have been busy detailing, but haven't had the time to turn my projects into videos. If you follow my Instagram, you'll see what is happening through photos. When I have the time, like I did with this project, making a video is possible.
@@RADGarage Sure, I know that making and editing a video takes a lot of time. Nevertheless, great video, great job indeed. Had an Audi detailed few weeks ago for the first time. I must say that Audi carpets are so much easier to deal with than lets say Renaults or Citroens, they are way more softer and thicker, better quality by miles!
There is something so beautiful about foam. Some people question the necessity of the foam process, but I love it just for the optics and feel it gives my projects. I also believe thrusting foam into the various cracks and crevices on a vehicle's exterior is the most effective way of dislodging dirt that is hiding in those spaces.
I like the fact that you explain a bit of your work. It adds a bit more to the video. For example I understand what you ran into here and why you didn´t have hte time to correct all of them. Keep the good work up! Love the smooth style in your videos! By the way we have had a bit of snow here in northern europe aswell.

What an amazing video Rick. We see so many detailers that just "get on with it" which is fine in itself but it doesn't give us the true perception of what problems arise, challenges have been discovered and basically an overall feel of what you, the detailer, are experiencing. I really enjoyed this format, the videography was exceptional as always and now we have a connection with you over the weeks project which gives us an understanding of what you are doing and most importantly...why it needed to he done. 10 out of 10 from Bournemouth in the UK Rick. Keep up the fantastic work mate. Best wishes, Mark.
Awesome work Rick. Your attention to detail is inspiring. After your client sees it, I’m sure he’ll be back next Spring for your paint correction work. Looking forward to seeing that video in the future!
Ken Polson He’s pretty impressed. I’m detailing his winter wheels today. He doesn’t want to put dirty wheels on his freshly cleaned car. I can’t say I blame him.
So, there's no real magic here. The style of the floor allows for the free flow of water underneath so the water just flows out the garage door. I am not able to do water washes on really cold days because that water will freeze once it hits the garage door apron. Anything above 0 degrees Celsius and I'm good to go.

Keep up the good work and the one thing I would like to hear is a bit more on your suggestions and tips with different products your using. Those would be helpful for guys like me, weekend Warriors. Thank you, Chris in Montreal
Hi Christian, I really appreciate your comments. This channel has humble roots. I made it to chronicle the ins and outs of me taking care of my own car, and now it has begun to take on a life of its own. As it grows in reach, I will try to accommodate the suggestions of viewers. The next video I have planned will include more commentary for sure. I am actually considering releasing two different versions of the video, one with commentary and one just featuring the footage of me doing my thing. Then, viewers have a choice! I just fear I have doubled my workload though! LOL
@@RADGarage Thank you Rick for the prompt reply. Keep doing the great work, no matter what you decide to do moving forward, will continue to follow. All the best,
One of my idols, Jim White refers to it as "toothpickery" and I took it quite literally in this video. That is my most viewed video to date. I wouldn't say it is my best video but it has performed very well for me over the years. Thanks for watching and be sure to catch some of my more recent work to see if you notice an evolution in my skills.
Just discovered your channel, Rick, and subscribed. Very impressive content so far! I love how you balance showcasing your process and products with very relaxing music. Well done! 👍
123100elyas1 Thanks for viewing and commenting. Love to hear my stuff is making its way to Bahrain! A friend of mine just moved there to teach in an international school.
Like the new format. I still think that you could get away with two videos for each car, one with more wash content and no talking, and one with more in depth commentary and less video of the process itself. I also have to admire your restraint, it's so hard to let things be the customer doesn't want addressed when you have that itch for perfection that needs to be scratched. Quality, as always Rick.
Jonathan Edwards I was kind of thinking the same thing. I do like the musical videos too. Maybe I’ll alternate formats with future projects. At any rate, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and thanks for the support.
Nathan Niemiec Nothing fancy. I just cleaned that trim with ECO All Purpose Cleaner by Adam’s. I considered coating it with a black trim restorer but I didn’t want it to smear on the windows since the glass comes into contact with that trim.
Top job as always Rick. I like that you started to give a background about the vehicle. I think it would be better to separate the segments though; a kind of new format in the beginning, and the rest an uninterrupted new format. I've always found your videos relaxing!
Matthew Tabone Yes, I know what you mean. I’m not sure what format I’ll use in future projects, but I’ll keep most of the video cinematic. That’s my favourite to watch.
Thanks. I took it slow on that one, but that allowed me to approach each step with care and patience. If you haven't already, feel free to check out my latest projects. I feel they have captured my improvement and evolution.
Drainage is an issue in the winter. Gravity pulls water out of the garage but in the winter the gap between the garage pad and the driveway freezes over so if I wash in the winter, the water ends up freezing all over my driveway creating a safety issue. Winter is basically waterless washes unless there’s a real warm spell.
Just discovered your channel, love it. What great therapy, music, video, everything is very relaxing, Taking just a bit is perfect. You are showing exactly what we all love to do. Keep up the perfect work. Now a loyal fan. Kris C
Thanks for the nice video. Can you list the materials you used for the cleaning the car? I have A6 and I want to clean it using your video as reference.
Had an injury so couldn't watch this one straight after it was published 😆 Cool to hear your voice over in this video! Great work and attention to detail 👍, as usual 😉
Haha. Yes, it is satisfying to sit back and watch the video after all the hours I pour into these projects. Kind of like the slideshows my parents would show their friends of our family vacations back in the 1970's. Ok, maybe not quite the same. LOL
Jeremy Busch It is something that used to bother me but I’ve come to realize the negative reactions are probably due to a lack of appreciation for the car I’m working on or the products I’m using. Sometimes I think it’s the Swisstrax floor or my soundtrack choices. Whatever the case may be, I don’t worry too much about it. I’m actually blown away by the preponderance of positive feedback I receive.
R A D G a r a g e I love, love your attitude about it. From a viewer perspective I have often wondered what it is about the video that they didn’t like. To each their own. I for one love your content. I’ve actually learned a ton from watching your videos.
Lot of my friends says that I am maniac about cleaning my and their cars, wish they can see your work! 😁 An another level of dedication. I love your attention to details and your editing skills, everything about this video is smooth and clean. You got your self a new subscriber. Greetings from Tunisia 😎
Thanks. Thoroughness is my main priority when I work on a vehicle. I just need people to give me more time! I hate to rush and this car could have used a few more hours of care.
Very nice! Would u have any recommendations regarding how to clean and or polish light scratches out of the plastic area in front of the instrument cluster? Maybe what kind of towel or chemical? Thanks.
Marshall Fox Thanks. The only insight I can share on your question about your interior panels is that I have had some success using my Rupes iBrid Nano polisher with a variety of pad and polish combos. There’s no other way I can see anyone having success. If they are anything like the plastic A, B and C-pillars on my car, I’d suggest having a skilled PPF installer coat them.
Marshall Fox It probably sounds extreme but it would solve a problem that will never go away otherwise. The plastics companies are using these days scratches if you even look at it! If you had a mini polisher, some patience and the right pad/compound combo you could get that plastic back to mint. Then PPF. Where are you located?
RAD GARAGE Thanks for replying. I agree about looking at it wrong and they scratch lol. I’m not looking to put too much money into correcting the scratches since it’s a lease (2020 RAM) but I’ve heard Novus plastic polish works well. Also, I’m located in the United States.
Marshall Fox There’s a chance a polish and a microfibre cloth could remove scratches on soft plastic. Just have to be patient. If you go that route, be sure to share your insights and results!
That was my first video that really got a decent amount of views. I wanted to get that car back this summer for a full-on paint correction and polish but it just didn't happen.
Thanks man. I like that this video showed the entire process and how I am able to spread out the work over a few days. That allowed me to do the video. Most times, I'm too strapped for time and can't turn the project into a video.
I follow several youtube detail and car related channels. Your videos are one of the best I've seen. If you were more consistent and upload more often I 'm sure your channel would have been close to a millions subs.
That is so nice of you to say. My regular job keeps me very busy so finding time to pursue my detailing hobby can be tricky. Plus. The short summers don’t help either. But, I completely agree with your perspective.
I've never been lucky enough to go to a Detailer of this caliber. Are these awesome experiences or shall I say, "Vehicle pamperings" by the hour or by the job? Or do they depend on the business? PS: Another video as, "Calming" as the Tea I am drinking right now, while watching it..
Kiss Kiss I am not yet at a point where I have a defined pricing structure. That will be a goal of mine this year. I don’t like a la carte style projects. I want to do what needs to be done and the customer either takes it or leaves it. It’s just tough convincing people their car needs 20 hours of work when they think they could get it done in two hours at the local car wash. .
Thank you. It wasn't the most extensive project I have ever undertaken, but the owner was shocked at the difference my 8-hours made to the inside and outside.
You are a great perfectionist, you did a great job on this project, so much so that even the pine cone was entitled to his detailing :) You are really one of the best in his field. 👍
This project was a pretty straightforward deep clean maintenance wash that required eight hours of time. I spread it out over a few days since filming adds quite a bit of time to the process. My buddy was blown away by the results, but like I said in the video, this car could use some paint finishing. Thanks for watching!
I’m a new subscriber. I enjoy the meticulous detailing. Glad I came across your channel! Keep up the excellent work and much success to you in the future.
Great videos as always! Whenever I have really stubborn tar I use Tarminator but I always apply it in a well ventilated (outside while holding my breath) due to the fumes.
Paul Smith I used what remaining Tarminator I had as well as some Gyeon Tar, but to clean those barrels the wheels need to come off. There’s just too much and it needs some mechanical removal as the sprays weren’t doing enough.
Nicky Francis I wish I could pump out more vids. Doing a video doubles the project’s timeframe and sometimes I just can’t do it. It’s nice when I can though.
x True I cleaned with Adam’s Multi-use cleaning foam followed by P21S polishing soap. I used 000/0000 steel wool as well for the really caked on carbon buildup.
Thanks. I'm getting a bit more comfortable, but I'll never be one of those "Hey RUclips, smash the like button and make sure to subscribe" kind of guys!

pjfan173 Yes, he put his winter setup on that weekend. I was supposed to get the summers back to work on that tar, but it hasn’t worked out.
Love the entire process.
Thanks. I took it slow on that one, but that allowed me to approach each step with care and patience. If you haven't already, feel free to check out my latest projects. I feel they have captured my improvement and evolution.
Excellent work, Rick.
Jared Toops Thanks man. Doing my part for Quattro Nation!
Crazy that you are getting snow already! Nice project! Speaking cool too..
Porko Rosso We usually get an early dump to show us we are not in charge. It’s mostly all melted now.
@@RADGarage heheheh
Tar spots is visible on the rims. I recommend the Prickbort MAC 124 for tar.
David Haselhof Never heard of it. It’s pretty effective?
For me it is the best. Every season I clean my rims with it. For larger spots you have to use few times and wait to dissolve the tar completely.
David Haselhof I might some trouble tracking it down here in Canada but I’ll keep my eye out for it. Thanks for the suggestion.
Yes keep up with the new format! Nice turn around
Thanks dude. I liked having the car for a few nights. Made it much more enjoyable.
Really enjoy you talking through the video. Would appreciate it more so, actually. Take us through the products, why you chose them etc. TY!
Thanks for the feedback. I have been mixing up the video format. Be sure to check out the Wash & Chat series if you really want to see my talk a lot!
Another awesome video Rick. Love the new format my friend. The piece to camera parts were great.
Fantastic results as always
Clint L Thanks Clint. Any snow putting a damper on things in AUS? 😆
R A D G a r a g e all clear. We are in Spring season. So warming weather on the way. ;)
What kind of drainage do you have? Want to setup my garage for winter washing as well.
@@RADGarage thanks!
Same car as mine brought me here. Alan watts is what gained you another subscriber and like. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the sub! Lots of Audi content for ya!
Just discovered your channel, love it. What great therapy, music, video, everything is very relaxing, Taking just a bit is perfect. You are showing exactly what we all love to do. Keep up the perfect work. Now a loyal fan. Kris C
Thanks and welcome. Some projects include my narration, while others are just me doing my thing. I do aim to show what we all love to do - well put!
Thanks for the nice video. Can you list the materials you used for the cleaning the car? I have A6 and I want to clean it using your video as reference.
Yahoo Boy Yes, I can do that. I’ll add it to the description shortly.
@@RADGarage Thanks, waiting 🤔👍🏻
I just added it. I think that's the full list but let me know if you think I missed a product.
Excellent video
Mikey Baker Thanks. I like how it all worked out. Glad others feel similarly.
I need some of those picks for the seats. What are those?!
Ryan Brost Juat good old fashioned toothpicks. I use them when compressed air isn’t enough.
Had an injury so couldn't watch this one straight after it was published 😆
Cool to hear your voice over in this video!
Great work and attention to detail 👍, as usual 😉
Shay's Auto Valet Thanks mate.
Why is this so satisfying to watch? Amazing work like always, love all the patience and passion you put into this!
Haha. Yes, it is satisfying to sit back and watch the video after all the hours I pour into these projects. Kind of like the slideshows my parents would show their friends of our family vacations back in the 1970's. Ok, maybe not quite the same. LOL
Im always amazed that people will give a thumbs down. I wonder what they were expecting?
Jeremy Busch So far, 18 people were not impressed! 😢
Lot of my friends says that I am maniac about cleaning my and their cars, wish they can see your work! 😁 An another level of dedication.
I love your attention to details and your editing skills, everything about this video is smooth and clean.
You got your self a new subscriber.

Awesome job as always Rick new format is great learned so much from your work and skills to work on my Audi thanks for the great vids
Boston DJ Company My pleasure. Thanks for the feedback. It means a lot.
Another great video, and the new format is brilliant. Keep up the great work!
I always appreciate your kind encouragement, Nadine. Take care.
Nice video with nice background music 👍🏻
Alien Formoflife Glad you enjoyed it.
Your music selection is awesome! I really enjoyed your video! You are very thorough!
Thanks. Thoroughness is my main priority when I work on a vehicle. I just need people to give me more time! I hate to rush and this car could have used a few more hours of care.
R A D G a r a g e Yes, I understand that part of wanting more time because your work is a reflection of you!
RAD GARAGE Thanks for the reply. I’ll have to look into that. Thanks
Hello good work .. wthat is a name of the product that you use at 15'48 seconds thanks
It's a "Coffee and Cars" edition of Adam's detail spray: tinyurl.com/y392fnpn

Welcome aboard! I'm excited to see Pan's viewers enjoying my presentations. Thanks for the visit!
Ауді дуже гарне авто і камфортно їхати в такії машині просто лакшері
Я згоден. Автомобілі Audi мають чудовий баланс зовнішнього вигляду, продуктивності та розкоші.
Definitely like this format. But I also like the non verbal one too. Maybe a little 50/50 next year? Great work as always
Jake Craig I like that idea.
Great job again Rick! Love watching your work. Thanks for the video. 👍😀
My pleasures. Always glad to share what I'm up to when I can.
Outstanding work love the video and audio keep them coming.
Dusty Baker Thanks Dusty.
Perfect music choice
TheBl4ckSilver Thanks. I do enjoy tracking down the music for my projects and I like hearing that viewers feel it fits. Thanks for the comment.
Brilliant Work Rick 🏴 👌
That was my first video that really got a decent amount of views. I wanted to get that car back this summer for a full-on paint correction and polish but it just didn't happen.
The new format is great like to hear your thoughts on things
Thanks man. I like that this video showed the entire process and how I am able to spread out the work over a few days. That allowed me to do the video. Most times, I'm too strapped for time and can't turn the project into a video.
Waw nice work.
I like The new format.
Nicolaj Suusgaard Nielsen Thanks. I’ll be sure to work this format into my future projects.
What wheel brush were you using?
Jacob Sibayan The big red one?
R A D G a r a g e yes! The one in the barrels!
Jacob Sibayan Best wheel brush ever. It’s a Daytona Speed Pro with a thick handle. I’ve seen them online. Awesome.
R A D G a r a g e thank you 🙏🏻
Nice Car Wash❣️
PS Car Garage - Car Detailing This car had never received anything as thorough as this wash. I could hear it breathing deeply as I spoiled it.
It’s just tough convincing people their car needs 20 hours of work when they think they could get it done in two hours at the local car wash. .
@@RADGarage Mature answer, Thank You.
great job Rick,beautiful music
Thanks. It was a nice project with great results.
Great job!
Ian Bean Cheers! Thanks for watching.
I like the explanations, if anything I'd want a bit more.
Paul Riordan Thanks. I’ll see what I can do.
Man, I am glad I found your channel! 💪🏼🙏🏼
John Dunnington Me too.
Wow what a nice looking garage! And good job on the detail!
ToxRozzx Thanks very much.
Great job!
I like these kind of video's👊👍
Bob van Zomeren I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks for letting me know.
9:42 best moment ever, so satisfying
Oh yeah, those wheels were soooo dirty.
Hello. what kind of floor covering do you have? if you can link to the product. thank you.
My flooring consists of a mix of Swisstrax tiles available by going to Swisstrax.com.
Very nice, i respect this job 👍👌🙏
Thanks for taking the time to view this project and leave a comment. I always appreciate the support and feedback of others.
Nice job all way around.
Thank you. It wasn't the most extensive project I have ever undertaken, but the owner was shocked at the difference my 8-hours made to the inside and outside.
You are a great perfectionist, you did a great job on this project, so much so that even the pine cone was entitled to his detailing :)
You are really one of the best in his field. 👍
Thanks buddy.
Brilliant video. Really enjoying to watch it. How long did it took to complete all work?
This project was a pretty straightforward deep clean maintenance wash that required eight hours of time. I spread it out over a few days since filming adds quite a bit of time to the process. My buddy was blown away by the results, but like I said in the video, this car could use some paint finishing. Thanks for watching!
Awesome.👍🏻
I’m a new subscriber. I enjoy the meticulous detailing. Glad I came across your channel! Keep up the excellent work and much success to you in the future.
Wesley Amick Thanks for subscribing! I’m entering into winter hibernation soon but I hope to push some stuff out in the coming weeks and months.
Great video as always!! Greetings from Los Angeles California.😎👍🏼
Charles detail N Thanks so much. I’m hope you’re enjoying the California sunshine.
There’s just too much and it needs some mechanical removal as the sprays weren’t doing enough.
hi how do you evacuate the water from the garage? How long does it last? there is no smell? what are the inconveniencies
Water flows out the door as it does with almost every garage in Canada.
Liking the video and the new format, more vid’s more often though 👍🏻
Nicky Francis I wish I could pump out more vids. Doing a video doubles the project’s timeframe and sometimes I just can’t do it. It’s nice when I can though.
what is a product wich y use on exhaust?
x True I cleaned with Adam’s Multi-use cleaning foam followed by P21S polishing soap. I used 000/0000 steel wool as well for the really caked on carbon buildup.
@@RADGarage Thanks :) I have to celeean my exhaust :)
Can you use diesel fuel to dissolve all those tar stains on the rims or does it damages the rim finishing
nesh2003 I’ll look into it.
Great job and love the format !,,
Thanks, Frank. What are you driving?
how much does the work done?
Mark Kamyshanov I prefer to keep the costs of each project between me and my client.
i like the speaking
