OMG I cannot remember seeing a vlog with so much action in a 16 minute span! The sand boarding looked so fun, and the wreck snorkeling too. Oh..and the helicopter ride..wow! Markets, restaurants...incredible on what all Brisbane has to offer. Fabulous vlog and editing! 👏🎬
It was action packed huh! We like these kind of videos sometimes, they really show as much as we possibly can in one vid and just feels so epic. Glad you enjoyed!
@@DanegerAndStacey You guys did a great job. You captured the Brisbane vibe perfectly. Sunny and friendly! Melbourne …cold , wet and grumpy. Sydney…busy, busy and traffic jams. I’m 78 , born in Germany but came here when I was 4. I was vaccinated with the true blue Aussie vaccine when I was 10 (bitten by snake). 🙂
Been to Brisbane before on a military exercise, only had 1.5days of RR... didnt get to see much, but it was back in 2000s.... maybe it wasnt developed yet. 11 out of 10 for the AMAZING weather though, the lcool breeze and having my sweat instantly evaporating consistently is a godsend.
Thanks Guy's For sharing what I consider one of the most underrated cities in Australia as an almost life long Brisbane resident, (Except for 7 years in Melbourne). There are so many hidden Gems within 2 hours or so in every direction.
❤❤ Brisbane. Next time you go, you need to check out New Farm, Teneriffe, Newstead, and the West End. So many gorgeous cafes, restaurants and bars 😊 And North Stradbroke Island. Amazing ❤
Harriet and i have been to Brisbane on several occasions to visit friends and relatives. We love the city. So many fun activities . And how cool is it to have an island and beach right there in the city. We stayed at the Tangalooma Island Resort . Hope you guys are doing well. Woof , Woof Nalu🐶🐶 Great video. Thank you for taking us along. 💞💞Sending you much love from Richmond Va. Harriet, Jim and Yuki
It's an incredible paradise isn't it! Crazy to think that we'd never actually heard of Tangalooma and then to get there we're thinking 'what the hell, why did no one tell us about this!'
I visited Brisbane about 7 years ago. And it is in my top 3 cities I’ve ever been too (apart from Poland). It was the fisrt time in my life that after spending a few days somewhere, my boyfriend and I started searching terms like „rental”, „salaries in Brisbane”, „what to do to move to Australia” and I even asked in my workplace is there a possibility to transfer to Auratralia.
Now that is relatable! Glad that you loved it as much as us - any chance you can more there now? How cool is Poland btw! We LOVED it, would happily go back.
I've lived in Brisbane for almost 10 years, before I moved to Melbourne, and now in Bali! So cool and so good to watch yals take on Brisbane, definitely a walk down memory lane!!! I hope yal checked out EAT STREET!! Food galore in Brisbane!
How cool! You've listed 3 places that we legit love (and have the content to back it up haha!) - sad thing is, we didn't make it to eat street, agh! Gotta go back.
I was born in brisbane and will spend the rest of my life, here too, mortern island is my fav place to go,good for peace and beaches that are not crowded.its good to stay a few days and go on a few tours of the island.
Yip. Brissy is homebase with northern beaches (aka sunny coast) and southern beaches (GC) all within 60 minutes (Southport/Main beach and Caloundra/Kings Beach). The river city also has a 66 km coastline ... south side Manly and Wynnum with marina vibe and north side Redcliffe and Sandgate. Then the 3 sand islands: Moreton, north Stradbroke, and Bribie Islands. Great city view from Mt Coot-tha and out to Moreton Bay.
Brisbane is such an amazing city! I visited in July 2017 and LOVED it! So much to do packed into one destination with Moreton Island, Stradbroke "Straddie" Island, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Southbank, Mount Coot-tha and more! The food was also very good and I loved the chill, laid-back vibe of the city compared to Sydney (which is also fun but for different reasons). If I wasn't on the other side of the Pacific in the US (Texas in particular), I would live in Brisbane.
Thank you. That helps me a lot to plan my trip to Brisbane. Coming from Asia I've no long sleeve or long clothes.... I see you guys are wearing hoodies and yoga pants. Which month was your trip to Brisbane?

Wow Brisbane looks amazing thanks for sharing.
I love seeing our kiwi cousies enjoying Brisbane and Qld in general 😊😊.You guys are positive about being here. Please come back and consider staying
Easy to consider staying with that weather! NZ Has been sooo cold this winter
@@DanegerAndStacey I bet Mate. I'm up working in the mountains behind the golf coast and i was freezing yesterday 😁
Love Brisbane ❤️
The adventures never ends

I prefer Brisbane over Melbourne and Sydney, less traffic and people, but still has everything the other cities have.
10000% agree - Brissy has it all but is so calm, sunny and happy!
It's great to hear that you enjoy Brisbane! It's true that Brisbane offers a more relaxed pace compared to Melbourne and Sydney
But night life ☠️!!
@@jasonwright9405what's with the night life?
@@minwo.o_ everyone go to sleep by 9pm 🤧😳🙄
For someone living in Sydney, Brisbane doesn’t really make it on to our travel itinerary, however after watching this - bring it on! Thanks guys.
Could you say that you've been influenced? 😏
That's what we love to hear! Sunny, relaxed and happy people make a big difference to a city - Brissy spoke to us in that way

omg such great filming, good to see iTangalooma is still the same since i went about 30 years ago!!!!
What a gorgeous place. Never somewhere I have thought about but man you have made me want to visit now. Awesome video content as always.
We reckon you should just book a trip 😉
Yay! You totally should, if you liked the snippet of a few days in this vid you'll love it even more in person
Love activities doing so much fun.
Us too! Such a fun place to explore
Good timing as we leave from here (Auckland) and will be in Brisbane for the month of July! Thanks for the taste!
That’s amazing - such a good time to escape this cold as well 😂 Hopefully we’ve given you some cool ideas of what to do, eat and explore 👌🏼

Fabulous video as always. Your storytelling is fabulous.
That means a lot, thank you!

Thanks for the recs, taking note for next time!
Brisbane is my favourite. It's not as big and congested as say Sydney or Melbourne. But yet still larger and busier than say Perth or Auckland 😊
Totally! We 100% agree with you
Would love to see you guys go to Fiji! My family is originally from there so I’m biased 🙃
Haha well in that case! We hope to get some Fiji vibes on the schedule at some stage for sure
Australia is very beautiful 😊 Nice environment ☺ thanks for sharing this beautiful vedio 😍
Great video. Well done you guys !
. Each city has its own unique charm, and it's wonderful that Brisbane is a great fit for you. I have never been to Brisbane yet
You will love it ! Such amazing weather too
Great video, thinking about moving to Brisbane from NZ and this has really helped 😁
Glad it was helpful!
Really enjoyed this video guys, thanks! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
The cheaper option of seeing an sand island in Moreton Bay is to go to Bribie Island. It is the only island in Moreton Bay with a bridge.
Great review. I’m a local and had no idea a day trip to Tangalooma was so cheap!
It's definitely worth it! Thanks for dropping by
We're thinking of trying to make the nickname of Bridgebane stick? Seriously, this is just making us want to be there now
You should! We happen to know someone with super affordable fares that could get ya there easy peasy 😉
I'm so excited for your NOOSA vlog!! Yal need to checkout the Ginger Factory in sunshine coast!! and visit the giant Pineapple!
It's just gone live... and again we missed both of your recs haha, we REALLY have to go back now lol

Did you do the 4X Brewery tour? great beer on tap especially on a hot day in Brisdog
We didn't have time for a brewery tour or beer tour this time (wanted to in the Sunshine Coast too) but we 100% will if/when we go back

Brisbane perfectly blends urban sophistication with laid-back charm ☺
100% does!
That has GOT to be the cheapest heli ride I've seen haha definitely worth the cost!
Yup! It was so tempting and to fly over something so epic as well, easy yes
Ha welcome to my home town , been following you guys for a while , how’s the Winter weather 😊
Absolutely bloody lovely because Auckland is craaaazy cold right now 🥶
aww i lived in brissy for 13 years, now in AKL, this vlog made me miss it ❤ wish we had the same vibes as the city/southbank here in AKL 🥲
We hear ya on that! No where really gets close to ticking the same boxes aye? Guess you'll just have to get back over there for some sun
Kiwi and love life in Brissy !! Off to do a homeland tour ❤️
Whoooop! Good stuff
Welcome to Brisbane! After 2032, Sydney and Melbourne won't be the only must-visit cities in Australia.
Oh it's on! (and we love that!)
Love this! So happy you guys got a chance to get up in the choppers too! 🚁

You had me at "but what about food?"
Haha you know that means looooads of great food options if we're bringing it up like that
Isn’t it called Morton Island. It looks amazing !
The wider island is Morton, but Tangalooma is the gem!
@@DanegerAndStacey True !
The tangalooma wrecks are on moreton island lol
No worries using swimmers or togs in QLD
Are the sand hills as big as the ones north west of Auckland?.
I'd say probably bigger but maybe not quite as insanely steep as some of them out Bethels way
Thank you. That helps me a lot to plan my trip to Brisbane. Coming from Asia I've no long sleeve or long clothes.... I see you guys are wearing hoodies and yoga pants. Which month was your trip to Brisbane?
June and July are cold months. Late August warm up. Nov/Dec too hot and humidity until Anzac Day
Hope you guys are going to the Goldcoast too
Not this time sadly, we went up to the Sunshine Coast - vid just went live
@@DanegerAndStacey cool. Will check it out!

THANKS!
Brisbane is cool. I live here. (:
Lucky, it's a cool place!

Thank you! Cheers!
how long do you think should one stay in tangalooma?
A couple of nights would be ideal!
Overnight is expensive. Just go on a day trip if you have a budget, but make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen!
Brisbane is one of the best City in Australia...
My brain stopped on chicken bagel, quite an unusual combination for me lol
Gotta try everything at least once though, next time you see one you have to buy it!
