Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.
Even with the right strategies and appropriate assets, investment returns can differ among investors. Recognizing the vital role of experience in investment success is crucial. Personally, I understood this significance and sought guidance from a market analyst, significantly growing my account to nearly a million. Strategically withdrawing profits just before the market correction, I'm now seizing buying opportunities once again.

I’ve been a supporter for years and follow you. No hate, just some feedback. “Buy low and sell high.” The reason why you haven’t hit big on these runs is because you’ve been too conservative. There are times to be bullish and times to be bearish. You will not commit to buying a stock even when it’s only a few bucks to a few cents off. That’s lunacy. 😢

That’s why it’s better to have a range to buy not a specific number. You can miss serious gains because you didn’t buy the stock because it had to drop 4 cents more. Be smart and range bound when buying.
A lack of focus and in depth research on a specific stock can prevent conviction from forming in the investor's mind?
Hmm I think it’s easy for everyone to think they are smart after only owning a stock for a year or two and it is up.
Who knows what this stock looks like in 5 to 10 years.

Google announced a 70 billion buyback program and I think it will go to 200 before doing a correction. Next week and CPI report will be a main focus. If it goes under $165 then it could tank back down to $150

finally, at 7:30 you are realizing that puts are not always a good bet. You were trying to get a few bucks and look at how much you lost out on. This is why I quit playing the puts game. It SEEMS productive, but in reality you are just playing the short game instead of the long game.

Every time I bought apple over the last 10 + years, I have been told its over valued. The metrics keep smashing all expectations and they'll grow more that expected for a long long time. I say these stocks are ALL cheap.. especially META!

Yea its what happens when you don't use discounted cash flows to value a company. ROE, ROIC to WACC, Revenue, debt to equity etc are all important but all the big name value investors look at discounted cash flows for a true value of the company.
Your PE and price to free cash flow is backward looking. Forward looking looks good. The past is over Paul. Focus on forward earnings
