For me as a former firefighter with dangerous goods training very interesting how it works in the USA. What I notice is that the chemical protection suits are almost the same in Germany and the USA. Difference: in Germany the boots are firmly attached to the suit.

As i coachbuilder for 13 years i can confirm these bespoke build are FRIGGIN expensive. The hours involved with designing and building these things is mindboggling. Those shutters are a PITA especially when the office staff order the wrong size shutters and you have already built the vehicle 😡 you then have to make the vehicle fit the shutters because havent got 6 weeks to wait for the replacement... bad times when paired with the bespoke shelving that pulls out on rails which needs altering to suit. We built a twin deck Firefighting unit as a curtainsider that could carry 8 IBC units that could be individually tapped into to the internal pipework for spraying all sorts of retardants for every type of fire it even had it own forklift (moffett) on the back. To this day ive never seen a forklift with a its own blue light on top of it since :D
