Your outdoor setups are sweet! I like the conversion of the raised garden bed planter with the tubs inside of it to grow plants and keep fish. I'm in NJ so our weather is just getting to the point where it's warm enough to put plants and fish outside. This video is inspiring!
The brazilian pennywort plant jumped ship (maybe by seed) and is now growing wild in my yard. It can even take drought as last summer we had very little rain for over four months and it still survived!
I’ve been growing out aquatic plants as well.. I find sand and gravel hinder the plants more than anything.. I’ve had the best results with aqua soil.. from watching your video I’m considering mixing in some kitty litter to off set the price of Aqua soil
Are those rice fish the ones that can take the cold? There are some rice fish that can not. Nice mix of pond and aquarium plants you got going. Where did you get your tubs? Tractor supply sells some as well as Lowes and Home Depot. I am not sure which one has the best price on them.
For all those low growing plants you can use shallower tubs and then fit more on more shelves.
Great to see you trying new stuff/experimenting.
Plus a great range of plants.
Amazing to see what plants get through your winter in those heated tubs
Always love seeing what you are up to - it never fails to inspire and delight! Thank you for the great video 🙏🏼
Red-veined sorrel is also called lemon sorrel, I think, cause the leaves really do have a lemony flavor if you add them fresh to dishes or salads.

Thanks, glad you find it inspiring!
Alternanthera Reineckii, also known as “Scarlet Temple”, I grow some of that in pots with soil.

You can grow the dwarf sag outside in your new stock tank year round too.
You could make a mint on those house plants. Up here in Canada are 10-15$ a house plant on market place
The goldfish can stay outside in the other stock-tank year round.
I have lizard's tail, I guess the native one since I found it in the wood near me.

Mixing the two works great, I do it often in aquariums
Any update on that black magic Calocasia?

Hi ..... do you use any liquid fertilizers for all the house plants growing in aquarium. Without impacting the fish or promoting algae?
So your water has some gh and kh in it? I need to add gh booster to get plants to grow right if I do not use some garden/yard soil.
which brand on the kitty litter do you use as substrate?
Special Kitty all natural clay, unscented and non clumping. SafeTsorb oil dry product works great too
Im surprised your not growing hemp emersed 😂😅 your growing everything else....
