Hi Parvinder, I have Canon Pixma MP280 printer. Orange and Green lights are flashing alternatively 8 times. I tried resetting as per your video but it did not work. For your information, recently I have properly cleaned ink absorber properly, fitted everything back. could you help as this 8 times flashing of lights was happening before and after cleaning of ink absorber. Thanks
In that case first remove the heads from printer, clean them with some spirit or alcohol and let it dry, then reset the printer. After that do deep cleaning via laptop software ( this will consume lot of ink) And then try, if still not working then your printer heads have hardware issue. Then call Cannon engineers for replacement.
You can see my one more video in my channel for printers. Clean the heads with spirit and then reset, and finally deep clean via computer. Hope this helps

Hi Dilip Samant, basically these are idicators that shows that your cartridges are not properly fitted

Sir, iska matlab hai ki aaapke printer heads tak signal nahi ja raha, aap ek baar heads nikaal ke clean karein and dubara theek se fit kariye.
If by doing same error is not solved than what to do
