@@Learngpr but how to get the reflection coefficient without knowing the relative permittivity of the second medium ? Is it we need to use peak to peak amplitude formula to get the relative permittivity value ?
The dielectric is the most important factor for depth accuracy. The other ways to introduce error to your depths are to mark the wrong color first such as white instead of black or black instead of white. You could also mark the wrong part of that color, for example, marking the top of the white instead of the middle. Depths can also be wrong if time-zero is wrong.
Jamie Althauser Great points. There are definitely other factors that contribute to miscalculation of depth. All definitely need to be considered on each project. I might use this as a topic for a future video. Thanks for the idea Jamie!
Hey Dan, could you please do an episode about using Radan (if you are using the GSSI software), or if otherwise, do an episode about the steps in processing data in Reflex. Cheers, Josh
JubaJosh absolutely I'll shoot a few with some data processing. I'm super busy over the next month but will post one in April. thanks for the suggestion and I appreciate you watching!
Hi, I want to ask is it possible to calculate the dielectric value of the reflected object/ second medium?
Yes. If you have the dielectric valuenof the first material, and, the reflection coefficient

@@iffahroslan4392 good point. Haha

Hi Dan.
How can I chance the dialectric value in Dictch Witch 2150gr system? Or modify other Gpr value?
Thanks.
please make a video animation maybe it would be better for me to understand and catch what u saying.
thanks before
