the pressure’s on has always been an emotional song for me, and it hit especially hard when my Grandad passed. I just love the timing of the thunder starting in this version. It couldn’t have been better. And to find out it was recorded the same month he died…he was always my thunder buddy as I had and still have a phobia, despite my enjoyment of them. He was more like a father to me. He would always lend me the money for concert tickets when I was a teen. Bought him a sssnakepit beer as soon as I was old enough. It became one of his favourites. Anyway, the song is perfect to me and I love that this version exists, thank you.
As much as I miss their heavy stuff, having listened since Take to The Skies they’ve matured so much in their sound - and their newest album feels like a culmination of everything they’ve done up to this point
At 15, headbanging at house parties to Sorry You're Not a Winner with cheap beer. At 22, goosebumps to Airfield. I fucking love this band. Just booked tickets to see them in Amsterdam in January for the first time.
I started listening with A Flash Flood of Colour. I didn't hear Take To the Skies until later, and I love their old heavy stuff, but all these songs they are doing now are so versatile, different, make you take a step back and process what you heard, and after listening to it a second time you are hooked.
I absolutely love seeing your journey and evolution of Enter Shikari. I didnt start listening until A Flash Flood Of Color but I hope I speak for everyone when I say everything you guys create has so much heart and soul in it. The passion for creating your own genre of music is unmatched. I hope you guys are doing well and I hope to see you all in the US sometime soon after everything returns to normal c:
>>>I hope I speak for everyone no, it's bullshit. They already had their own unique style. And new stuf is just another radio pop shit for kids in McDonald’s
@@hydra769 if you like it or not, their music is super unique and there is no band or artist that sounds even a little similar. it's totally fine to not like a bands new music. for me it's tha same with parkway drive since IRE, but stop shitposting hate comments about something that's none of your business. that only shows how unhappy you must be in your own life
and here I am ... 2 years later.... found this video just 5 days ago and listened to this for around 40 times now... such a great thing EDIT: the fact that even the heaven starts crying is proof enough that this is a masterpiece
I used to listen Take To The Skies back in my teenage years repeatedly and left it at that until just a few months ago when i got a weird hair to see what Shikari has been up to all these years and holy jumpin jesus christ on a pogo stick did i screw up. The amount of shows I've invariably missed and now covid =/ *fingers crossed* and hoping i can see them in the states or catch me representing America at a UK show
I' ve been following Enter Shikari since Take to the skies, always great emotions from them, from Rou.. I meet him at Rimini Slamdunk Festival, a Humble person, a big artist, thank you for being SPECIAL.
I have listened to Moratorium countless times in the last 2 years. Definitely my most played vinyl. I probably have the only 8 year old in America that asks Siri for Stop the Clocks, followed by Run to the Hills. I had no idea this was on video. It looks eerily similar to my imagination. Amazing. Thank You
I Love you man.. Enter Shikari has written some of the most inspiring music I can think of over the years. Rou your stripped down guitar versions with open tunings make me weep tears of happiness. Had the chance to knock on your tour bus in the pouring rain many hours after a show in Asbury Park NJ and wanted to buy you all 4 beers in the pub and bring them out to you guys but i was too nervous. Maybe i'll find the courage next next time. Thanks for the music and all the memories i've shared with your music playing in the background through my life. It got me through some very hard times and happy times as well.
@2.06 "I want to live.." really hit home. Thank you for this Rou. Great performance as always with a clear need for improvising with that British rain. Diolch yn fawr 🤘
I will be honest, last few days have been crap. Compared to the world, this is trivial. But, you, Rou Reynolds, have made it that little bit better with your talent. Thank you.
4 weeks ago on Thursday my dog got killed. It's fucked me up big time! I've listened to shikari on and off since I seen them in the joiners back in the day. This song is new to me. First time I watched pressures on I wept. What an incredibly beautiful recording. I mean like the planets aligned for this one. Thank you
Totally amazed about the fact, that Rous voice always sounds so clear and smooth and just beautiful in all this different ways. Love you guys since last year on Highfield-Festival in Germany. Really looking forward to see you in December in Berlin. Hopefully anything gets a little more normal again until then.
God damn Rou, you always surpass yourself. The studio versions of the songs were great but these are just on another level! Thanks for everything, you and the boys really produce some of the best music and definitely some of my favourite!
I ordered my fanclub renewal yesterday after being a bit disappointed (kind of the wrong word though) with my first year. That's why there are some months in between now. I just cannot get over you guys. I saw your documentary the other day and you just spark my heart. I keep coming back because you definitely make an impact on my life and it gives me just so much to listen to your music. When I see you live I can completely forget about everything else and just be there in that moment with you. Thank you, I love you, take care. Cheers from Germany.
I truly needed this, I missed you guys in Chicago last year after being a fan since high school [literally ten years] I wish things turned out differently this year, and now missing that show has become one of my deepest regrets. To know I had so much freedom that I willingly wasted, so much wonder carelessly taken for granted, and to have lost all that freedom now it feels truly sobering. I was foolish, lost in fool's toil and barely living. Blindly thinking I was working towards a breakthrough that could have made 2020 better, now there is no 2020... I should have stopped planning for tomorrow and started living for the day, it's hard to believe the time has gone flying by....
Was für ein mega Brett... Thanks for this unbelievable masterpiece. Can't wait to see you Guys the first time. I'm following you since Take to skies but since i Had no change to see live. Greatings from Bavaria
Starts to ⛈️ at the "and this isn't what I planned" part, lol.

their evolution is incredible, havent experienced band like them so far
It took me a little to get into it but I'm stoked about their evolution too

'greetings carbon based life forms'
😭😭😭😭 It will be blissful overwhelming joy when I am in a sweaty crowd and hear Rou utter those words in person.
Truth
This is the most soothing thing I’ve listened to in weeks
something about chill shikari bops with rain sounds is like a dopamine button for me aha
This guy is definitely from space, how good he is.
How else would he know we can breathe in space?
He's definitely from another dimension 😉

My mind when i read "I hope i speak for everyone when i say"
WE'RE SICK OF THIS SHIT!

Serg Neverov “pop shit” = invalid argument

Even Mother Earth tells you this is beautiful by adding the rain at the end
I LOVE HIS SMILE and the ending damn its raining so hard haha im proud he still finished the song
It's so perfect that he's singing "and this isn't what I planned" just as it comes on 😊

Best song to be sung under a tree
I throw myself into the day, but I just seem to ricochet.
Can relate to that line a lot atm. Thanks Rou it was beautiful mate.
For 2 years I read your comment every week when I hear and look at this song. I hope you are alright and I wish you all the best
Thank you for everything! Stay Safe! One Love
Oh hey, it's Live Outside performed live outside. Awesome.
What an absolute legend
I've been with you guys since 2009 and I intend to hang around until the end.
Обожаю эту песню!
thank you so much. Cheers from Brazil.
the sound of the rain dropping towards the end really made it perfect.
First time I heard that I got chills. It was so beautifully timed, and the light sounds of the thunder in the background topped it all off.

Myopia I’m exactly the same as you. Loving catching up on everything though
I'm in the same position, Flash of Colour is a new album to me 😝
I' ve been following Enter Shikari since Take to the skies, always great emotions from them, from Rou.. I meet him at Rimini Slamdunk Festival, a Humble person, a big artist, thank you for being SPECIAL.
Live outside but it’s live, outside
Beautiful
So so happy this was put on to an album. It's absolutely perfect when it started raining
What album was this put on???
@@NextGenKazama Moratorium (Broadcasts from the interruption). Along with other recordings/renditions.
That sounds amazing with the rain in the background! Wow
10/10 musician

I hope you learnt the lesson man. If you get an opportunity, take it
Outside has such great acoustics....
I used to hang out in a little tree hideout like this as a kid. Took me back.
Enter shikari is soul food
the rain actually sounds so beautiful with it what a moment
Thank you for this
@2.06 "I want to live.." really hit home. Thank you for this Rou. Great performance as always with a clear need for improvising with that British rain. Diolch yn fawr 🤘

The scramble to save the equipment at the end made me chuckle. Such a lovely chilled couple of songs then a mad rush to get everything in the car 🤣
The end where it rains made the whole thing beautiful and surreal
You can't beat the allure of this now.
Man what a gorgeous guitar 💙
a GENUINE MUSIC GENIUS!
I cant stop coming back to this and listen to the pressures on, so perfect 😍
What an absolute gem this man is. 💎
I hope they use a sample of rain for shows when they play Pressure live.
All I need in my life for hapiness is Enter Shikari and Theo Von podcast
Dang let’s be friends

There hasn't been a single song by this group that I don't like.
'live outside' is probably my Favorite, and this just further cements that for me
