- Requested by the lovely Kaitlyn, and Daenerys is one of my top five favorite characters on GOT, so I had to paint her! A more laid back video today since I had a really busy week, and I didn't have time to record a voiceover. Painted in Krita with my Huion WH1409 tablet.

Wow this turned out incredible! You should consider doing a video on how to capture likeness, I have a really hard time with that and i'm sure other people do as well. Great work! :)
Yes! That would be super helpful.
I saw your other video tutorials and now I kind of laugh to myself how fast your color history moves...
+Tomsense76 literally me watching the video yesterday. It looked really funny 😂
I have to admit
You are such a huge inspiration to me and I one day hope I can be at your level of art
THE WAY TOU PAIT HAIRRRRR!! YOU DID AMAZING!!
I STRUGGLE EVERYTIME WITH IT
I'm always so amazed to see how well you paint :3 Maybe one day I'll be able to manipulate color as well as you lol
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
Sometimes, I think my art is good. Then I look at people like you, and then I'm like, "Why do I even try?" XD
The only way you can get that good is by trying. And keep trying. I stopped doing art for several years because I felt that way about my art, and of course, I stopped improving. My art skills would be leaps and bounds above what they are now if I had never stopped. So try your best not to feel discouraged. Instead of comparing your current skills to someone you see as better, make their level your goal and work towards it.
beautiful.....your ability to capture her somber yet playful expression is amazing
I can't this is so beautiful and Deanerys is my fave character
Sara - you inspire me to continue in art. Your art is so beautiful, delicate and master-level which makes me strive to get better myself. When I feel like a useless artist, I watch your videos and they remind me that everything is possible with practice. Thank you for everything.
this music piece is so beautiful
She's so pretty!
Oh my word... this is just too good
OMG I love her so much!!!
I love Peter Gundry music. I could tell it was his.
I always feel inspired everytime I watch one of your videos 😊👏
how beautiful 😍 i love your painting technique and it turns out so beautifully!
I see you've managed to keep your style of art whilst maintaining her likeness. Great work!
I was mesmerized.
Stunning! I am in total awe of your talent and skill :)
I absolutely adore your artworks, the process of beginning your sketch to adding colour is interesting to watch. I'd like to start digital art soon but I'm a bit nervous since I mostly do pencil drawings, and sometimes watercolour.
She looks soooo beautiful❤❤❤
Wonderful! I adore your art style!
I love your art so much! 😂😂😂 To me it looks so real.

Wow, awesome!!!!
Oh my god i love your art soooo much 😻🔥
oh my gosh this is absolutely amazing!
This is really awesome!!
As soon as I started watching this I had to pause and look at what song this was because it was sooo familiar. Turns out this is one of the songs I use on my "inspiration playlist" for while I draw/write haha ;) Small world!
Just as I'm reading Game of Thrones too xD I needed this, she's my favorite. Well done Sara!
Incredible! 🎉😍😍
i wish to get on ut level some day, you are such an inspiration 🙏
Yess peter gundryy
Omg this painting is so gorgeous! I love the colors and lighting and you really captured all of her features. I hope that someday I can paint as well as you do! Right now I'm a beginner but I'm working on it and you're an amazing inspiration and your tutorials really help
I THOUGHT THE THUNBNAIL WAS A PHOTOGRAPH! Amazing job 😻
Me too omg
This is so calming and beautiful 💕
OML you are so talented! I need to practice more in Krita lol, I haven't been practicing digital art as much as I should
Love watching your videos! Sometimes when I need some motivation to draw I'll just put on all your videos and listen to you talk as I draw!
wonderful!
this is soooooooolovely
You inspire me so much to do more studies!
So gorgeous
Love it 😍
Magnifique! :o
Good process, im learning a lot of digital with your videos, ur awesome!;)
I really love how you did the eyes, they show more emotion than in the photograph even though both show the same expression, the painting shows the watery blue eyes trying to hold back tears while the photo was difficult to see and the eyes looked too dark
Bravo!
Beautifuuul 😍
You nailed the expression and everything, great work. But look at this nice roughness of the material on her back, would have been nice to indicate this.
This is AMAZING!
Nothing sort of stunning!
it's like a replica! how are you so good?!
*Watches video to be inspired and maybe learn*
wow I'll never be this good hahahahahaha
*never paints again*
so fucking same
Neala Ernswa you will if you want to! No one paint this good naturally, it only comes with practice and studies :)
This is beautiful! I have such a hard time doing portraits but keeping them in my own style, probable because I suck at portraits and haven't figured out a personal style ;)
Hm, maybe I'll start drawing in greyscale too. It looks so simple :D
Beautiful drawing~
Hello Sara, huge fan of your artwork, always when I can't draw I watch your videos for motivation; for you're not only a wonderful artist but also the great source of positive energy! :) I have a question though: how to use these lines, for example when you adjust the curves? I've been also working on Krita for some time (it's actually how I've found you, another good thing in this program) but I can't get it right, only on some basic level. Thank you in advance!
amazing
I've got a QUESTION :)
I'm using ProCreate on iPad (beginner)
Could anybody please explain to me how you do this grayscale-first-then-colour-in thing? o:
looks like a great technique :D
thanks :)
use layers?
Steve theGerman
she made a video on it, you should watch it
Steve theGerman she made a vid on it.
Steve theGerman
First color black and white on a layer than open a new layer on top.
Turn the setting to Overlay or soft light. Color on this layer. You can find those setting right next to where the layers are.
Actually she made a video about this technic. :)
I don't know what it is, but your paintings always make me want to like your videos, welp, one more video added to my likes.
Holy crap the music
Beautiful :)))
wonderfull
I love the expression you show in the eyes of your paintings, do you think you could make a tutorial about that expression?
this is sick love it! really good work I enjoy it greetings (:
Can you show your old art? Love your style btw, keep up the good work!
How do you get your colors looking natural/not muddy when going from greyscale to color? I watched your video about it but my colors still look weird and unnatural ;___;
❤
KRITA!
holy shit this is amzing
This is beautiful! I am in awe of anyone with skill like this. I hope you don't mind but I'm going to ask a few questions: 1 - do you use a tablet or something like a Cintiq? 2 - is there any site/user you can recommend for learning a few figure drawing skills like the ones used here? I have found an old Intuous 4 tablet (hope this is good enough) and am going to give character drawing a go...and I think I might use Krita, which has really impressed me with that cna be done with it, to see how it works out.
Mother of dragons 🐉 😱😱
very good.
Why did you change her right eye?
How do you feel about the brushes that krita comes with? You achieved great realism in your piece, and am curious as to whether it’s me or Just bad brushes that come with the software why my pieces look artificial.
It's so beautiful! The music gives a really high fantasy vibe!!! I just wanted to ask, is krita supposed to work slow? Or is it just my shitty laptop? I watched ur krita brushes video and i tried them but the airbrush took so long to function i just gave up and went back to using my 'trial' version of photoshop :/
Wow
Her eyes and eyebrows are bit off, you can see it clearly if you mirror the image. Nevertheless it's a nice take on Daenerys.
well done, god
wow
Do you just overlay the color on a separate layer in order to go from black and white to colored?
Genial
You should put your work on Artstation! I'm sure you're going to be well received :)
What kind of music do you listen to when you are painting
Which Resolution did you choose for your Drawing in Krita?
I've noticed throughout your videos that you don't seem to flip the canvas, from what I've seen. Is there possibly a reason for that? I have to flip my canvas quite often because I simply can't draw at certain angles yet.
