[PART 1/2 because of course I wrote too much] Okay this is seriously the best thing I've seen in a while. Here are my favorite parts: 0:02 The fact that all the family members are there (and the way they're posed) really gets me to feel the anxiety and helplessness of a family fight where you feel powerless to stop your family members who are fighting 0:04 This is a really cool "camera" angle. The fact that we don't really get angles like this is GF (iirc??) amplifies the viewer's normal feeling that an angle like this is kinda scary and wrong because we're not supposed to be viewing life from the ground usually. Really emphasizes how powerless it feels to be kicked out. 0:09 Stan puts on his seatbelt XD This probably isn't intended to amuse me but it does because Stan's usually thought of as a rebellious rulebreaker, and here he is following safety laws like a good boy, right after getting kicked out of his home for messing things up, no less (Seriously though, wearing seatbelts is really important, so I'm glad Stan's being a good role model for the viewers!!) 0:20 I find it really interesting that you chose to leave out Ford getting sucked into the portal (at least in this part of the video). It's honestly a bit jarring since that's a scene I usually expect to see in GF fan videos since it's so dramatic, so to skip straight from a bit of the argument with Ford to after he's gone feels really different. But all of that's a good thing because now we can feel like Stan did: he saw his brother all too briefly, then he disappeared rather suddenly, and now all we're left with is a sense of loss. Another camera angle from the ground too. 0:24 Nice camera angle to really make it dramatic how much effort he's putting in 0:27 And then he just hugs the book while the portal looms ominously in the background, having defeated his first attempt to reactivate it. I think the fact that we didn't see what the portal did to Ford makes it feel more ominous (even though we've all seen the show and know perfectly well what happened). The shots of Stan studying help emphasize how much work he did to try to figure the portal out. 0:47 Okay I gotta smile at this because it's always bothered me how Stan was able to fake his own death. Like... did he burn someone else's body, or are the police just REALLY stupid???? I guess having him burn a scarecrow with a piece of paper with his face drawn on it makes me feel like you're lampshading the absurdity of the situation, which, whether it was what you were going for or not, amuses me :D Murder Hut - nice continuity reference 1:18 I like that you remembered not to put Stan in his current outfit. Also, and I didn't realize this until my second or third time watching it or so, but you made him be wearing Ford's gloves which makes sense since his nephew and niece-in-law think he's Ford. The gloves kinda go well with the outfit and the fact that he's in a hospital holding something precious and fragile. 1:20 I hadn't really thought much about the fact that you'd be able to see Dipper's birthmark when he was a baby. Also, the fact that this scene is shown at all means that you know about what Stan says in the video game (I'm assuming), so kudos on knowing that since I think that information isn't as well-known in the fanbase as a lot of other things. 1:27 Young Soos :D 1:34 Good ol' Wax Stan angst, a true fan video classic. This scene wasn't unexpected at all - until Stan gets increasingly upset until finally booking it at 1:45, which I definitely was not expecting - and neither were Dipper, Mabel, and Soos. 1:48 Having Stan frantically run to the basement while "Are you dead?" plays is pretty powerful. (This is definitely one of the parts of the video where I notice the song lyrics the most.) 2:18 Great facial expressions here. Dipper is happy at having caught Gideon (who's protesting about it), but little does Dipper know that Grunkle Stan, who he's not paying attention to at all, has a secret! Really sells me on how furtive Stan is being by having to hide something from his great-niece and -nephew. 2:21 and 2:22 Since the show focuses on how Dipper feels about the black light revelation, it's cool to see Stan realizing he missed potentially a whole bunch of information, not for a few months, but for 30 years!
[PART 2/2] 2:33 He sees the kids watch him get arrested (with the camera angle once against showing the helplessness of being on the ground) And then at 2:34 he's frantically running down the stairs because he (unlike us) didn't get to see what's happened in the basement since he got arrested so he's gotta go make sure he isn't too late (great pacing and angles here, esp. 2:34 where he seems to run flying past the "camera" (nice job with the flying coattails, which I guess also adds the subconcious associations we have with capes - strength and heroism - maybe???), and then his hand on the door, and the suspense 'cause he doesn't know what he'll find (which we can feel even though we do) 2:37 I just noticed the waste barrel by the door, nice touch 2:39 "He doesn't know how to communicate" - another place I notice the lyrics; they work well for this shot And then we get some fast flashbacks!! And 2:44 is a nice dramatic angle (also, having him put his hand on his chest is a nice subconcious way to make him look in (emotional) pain [and/or patriotic which means good??? idk]) 2:45 is more of a normal mostly flat angle but that works because when combined with his arm posture and especially facial expression. He kinda mirrors the extremely brief flash of Ford we get also at 2:45 (which is so fast I had trouble pausing the video on it). Also the fact that Stan has some light on him right before that parallels it, along with the TV glow at 2:44 (what's interesting is that in this shot they're both on the floor, but in a safe comfortable way, not a helpless way. But the floor angle and the glow are both foreshadowing for negative things later). The shot of Ford in the portal is really effective, both because the physical parallels with the shot of Stan make it feel like Stan is practically as desperate to not lose the chance to get Ford back as Ford himself was when he was being sucked away, and because getting an extremely brief flash of the portal scene when didn't get to see it before (which makes it more exciting when we do get it) feels a bit like a repressed memory of something so bad and ominous we're still not shown all of it. 2:45 Stan tries to use the hand gesture for calming others down and asserting control over the situation, while his face shows his desperation and feeling that he isn't in control. Also 2:45, the shot of Dipper, Soos and Mabel features a steep ground angel on Dipper and Soos (making them look tall, scary and threatening and thus making us feel that Stan doesn't have control of the situation), but because of Mabel's posture the angel looks flat on her which works well with the fact that she isn't angry (it makes her look less threatening) and also is reacting differently to Dipper and Soos (as shown by the contrast between her and them). 3:05-3:06 Good job showing Stan feeling jealous and that leading to him leaving the Wheel, esp. since we go from him being angry at home to his anger getting stronger in the Cipher Wheel (which doesn't need to be shown since we've already seen the show and know about it, so we can just focus on Stan's expressions) where he apparently makes the decision to leave the wheel. Next shot cuts straight to him having followed the decision he made. This is a cut that shows him abruptly going far away once he makes his decision with no time for anyone to convince him otherwise - which is how Ford is shown to feel. But it's too late! If Stan is going to get left in the background in the 3:04 shot (where I just noticed Soos looks at him sadly) and Ford isn't going to notice, then Stan won't come back to him now! (Also, nice that he's standing in front of a yellow triangle, since he's making the wrong choice, kinda like Ford once made the wrong choice to befriend Bill) 3:08 Even more emphasis on the yellow triangle, which looms ominously onscreen. Nice. (Perhaps making us think of the triangle-shaped portal which also glowed?) Also the camera position makes Stan seem like a force that'll have to be reckoned with if you want to make him come back. And then we get more flashbacks, first brief ones of his discussion with Ford and then of the lightbulb incident (with a bit of floor angle and Ford's back to him), and then a lingering, detailed one of the night he got kicked out and Ford shut the curtain on him, blocking him from the light and leaving him in the darkness, the lingering showing that THIS is the memory at the root of Stan's anger, THIS is ultimately what he's upset about. And the fact that his back is to the camera and he's looking at a light matches nicely with the shot of Ford with his back to the camera making the lightbulb shine, and perhaps to the shot where Stan's in front of the yellow triangle light and you can't see his face in that one either. 3:25 Like with the portal scene at the beginning, I find it really interesting that you cut out the part we're all really familiar with. Seeing Stan having just punched Bill facing straight into the camera instead of sideways isn't something we've seen before (at least that I've seen) so it has the effect of once again breathing new life into a scene we've all seen a million times. Cutting out the part where Bill is actually killed focuses us nicely on Stan, which works since this video's about him, not his relationship with Bill. 3:36 Really creative and unique transition as has been said. Mabel and Dipper don't have to be symbols on the Cipher Wheel anymore. 3:53 After seeing a couple shots of the Shack in pretty sorry condition, we see Stan, who's lost his memory, actually appear happy to live in the Shack. Everyone else is rightly concerned about him XD 4:08 Another steep ground angel, but this time it's focused on Stan, which combines the helplessness we feel from seeming to be on the ground with the power it feels like Stan has because he seems taller than us, to form a sort of hopeful rising from the ashes - not steady yet, but there's hope. Then we get a few angels that are more stable because things are righting themselves now, And Cut. ...Okay, that was definitely longer than I was originally intending, but what else is new. TL;DR: I liked the camera angels (which I doubt I used the correct terms for as I've never been to film school), the timing of the flashback clips, what was chosen to be left out, and the colors.
@@aligningducks5887 That tldr could not ever hope to sum up what you have written. Yours is worth that of millions. Sorry I took so long to reply, I knew I wanted to sit down and flip through frame by frame alongside your commentary. Thank so much you for taking the time to write all of this! ok I love how the analysis starts at 0:02 - I am so ridiculously flattered. Wearing a seatbelt is one of the fundamental laws of Gravity Falls. Even bill cannot break this (and he tried so so many times) 0:47 it is a bit ridiculous ain't it? luckily the cops in gravity falls aren't too bright... 0:20 I had not even thought the missing bits to be unusual until you mentioned it. It was just how the scenes played in my head with the music. My main focus was on the beginning and the aftermath. You're right that a viewer without context would find the presence of the portal ominous as the effects are not shown, and dare I say ain't that just a good piece of mystery. 1:20 I have never played the gravity falls video game! The hospital scene was mostly speculation, wiki browsing, and fandom osmosis "1:48 Having Stan frantically run to the basement while "Are you dead?" plays is pretty powerful." I'm glad it's so hard-hitting, I've gotten a lot of comments on this, but it's one of those things where it just came out naturally (so I'm surprised by (and very grateful for) all the surprise) - where did Stan run off to? Well to the portal room of course, because that's what's on his mind. 2:22 The black light scene was one of the first to get finalized! There is some good gear turning and hurt for Stan that I don't think is hit upon enough! 2:34 was one of my favourites pacing wise with the music to do! You've added so much by associating this with flying and heroes coming to the rescue. 2:45 it does indeed go fast, I remember it was 1/12th of a second so props for finding it :) You're right ford and stans poses do tend to mirror each other, like two sides of the same coin - regret 3:04 Aand regret not taking the time to detail Soos's expression more. Most frames are pretty rushed you can probably tell haha 3:05-3:06 "Good job showing Stan feeling jealous and that leading to him leaving the Wheel" thank you! unfortunately for non-fandom viewers, this will be hard to follow - trade-offs, trade-offs... "he makes his decision with no time for anyone to convince him otherwise" You're right, and that's a really neat way to put it! Stan is pushed to the back by ford and now he won't come back easily "blocking him from the light and leaving him in the darkness" Ha! Stan is always having lights be blocked or wink out in his presence eh. That was my hazy intention and you've solidified it nicely Don't worry, I've never been to film school either. Camera angles, timing, and colours are my absolute favourite things to do, so I sincerely thank you for appreciating them! Your nearly second by second review (holy crap) has truly elevated this piece and consequently, the garbled images duck taped together now seem that much more cohesive.
@@sealbatross You're welcome, thanks for taking the time to make this video!! :) Okay, I'm gonna include the video times that go with the comments of yours that I'm replying to :D 0:20 I didn't realize it until I watched the video again today, but the other common scene you left out, between Ford disappearing and Bill getting defeated, was Mabel deciding not to press the button. I see that one a lot in videos (usually in the context of exploring Stan's relationships with the other characters and his ability to trust and/or be trusted by them); it's interesting that this video worked well without it, which I guess is because its focus is on how he feels about Ford, not his relationship with Mabel. 1:20 I haven't played the video game either, I think I saw it mentioned on the wiki and then managed to find pictures of what Stan says in it, which is how I know Stan was there after the birth. 1:48 Huh, it's been a long time since I've watched the Wax Stan episode so I'd completely forgotten that he runs off, which is why him running off took me by surprise. Yeah, showing him running to the basement is a cool natural extension of that moment! 2:34 The capes thing I think I learned from Scott McCloud's books Understanding Comics and Making Comics, but I might be wrong. The stuff about hand gestures I learned from him, and all the stuff about the psychological effects of angles* and height, iirc. (His books are amazing, I'd highly recommend reading them if you haven't!!) 2:45 Yeah, lots of rapid pausing and unpausing of the video :D I think I saw someone mention one time that there's a way to go through videos frame by frame, which I really should figure out how to do sometime (knowing how to do that wasn't really necessary in this case, but I've seen RUclips videos where text is flashed on the screen so fast I'm not always able to find it, at least without great difficulty). 3:05-3:06 Honestly I don't really think you need to worry about whether non-fandom viewers will understand stuff, just whether fandom-viewers will. If someone's watching a GF video without having seen the show, they'll probably understand that they won't understand everything until they watch the show. So I guess when non-fandom viewers watch a GF video they don't need to understand everything, they just need to be intrigued and captivated enough to want to watch the show. Videos like this are plenty intriguing so I'd say they're good to go. (Regarding your last sentence:) Aw, thanks! I don't usually get compliments that are that descriptive, so I definitely appreciate it XD Yeah, I find it fun to analyze why things work or don't work, cuz then I can try to apply what I learn to the stuff I make (when I get around to making it, that is). Writing out an analysis of something is a fun way to organize my thoughts on it (and it usually leads to me thinking up more thoughts as well, which is partly why I tend to write more than I intend to...) All the GF video binging I've been doing recently has made me really want to learn how to make my own animatics. I just need to get better at drawing, get a LOT better at video editing, and learn how to animate. (I've technically made a couple flipbooks or so, but I have never in my entire life animated anything on a computer...) Anyway, if you can get this good without going to film school, then I guess there's hope for me! (I hope...) *Not "angels", dangit. Apparently I overlooked the last three instances of this misspelling (along with a couple other errors), but I guess that's what I get for writing and proofreading while sleep deprived...
@@aligningducks5887 0:20 mmm yeah I have yet to draw that Mabel scene EVER. it is a big drama and tears moment so very exciting for people to draw! Slightly related - closure is a big theme in my drawing I think (aka laziness lol) I like seeing how little I can get away with 2:34 Oh I've read Understanding Comics, and the other ones too! They're really good, gotta give em a read again sometime (i honestly don't recall hand gestures in there whoops) 2:45 for going frame by frame, if you are on a computer, use the "," and "." keys to go backward and forward respectfully! 3:05-3:06 fair enough, just had a relative who was extremely confused by it and I felt pretty bad haha, so thank you! Which are your favourite GF videos so far? Any niche ones that deserve a lot more attention? I'm always on the lookout! Aw man FLIPBOOKS! hey if you're on Twitter/Tumblr I'd be happy to give you a follow oh don't worry about typos, that's the reason why my reply was edited ;) .. this is what I get for writing and proofreading in general ;-;
@@sealbatross [PART 1/2] 0:20 What do you mean by "closure"? 2:34 Oh okay good! I think the part about hand gestures is in Making Comics (I just flipped through Understanding Comics and didn't see it, and would do the same for Making Comics if it wasn't currently lost somewhere around the house) 2:45 Okay thanks, I'll have to try that! Favorite GF videos so far: Go to the Playlists section on my channel and look at the playlist called Favorite Gravity Falls Videos (which I've been meaning to create and was going to go create once I'm done with this comment, but this comment is taking longer to write than I thought it would so I won't have time to do it right now, so just, uh, wait until I ETA this comment to say I'm done). Also look at the Hamilton x Gravity Falls playlist if that sounds appealing. That one probably needs updating, but the videos I've got in it so far should be in chronological order to the musical. Here're a couple more I unfortunately couldn't put in because they're marked for kids: ruclips.net/video/Y11IYc9pJVQ/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/T6YmKqkxJ3c/видео.html Flipbooks: Yeah, I was assigned to make one of the cell cycle in high school (still have it somewhere), and also I once spent part of a wedding reception turning some of the bottom part of the guest book into a flipbook (instead of, y'know, actually socializing...) - unfortunately I didn't get any footage of that one, but it was really fun! I'm on DeviantArt; I just Watched you so it should be easy to find me :D (assuming you get told people's names when they Watch you...? Idk. If you don't, it's AligningDucks, same as my RUclips channel, but a lot better quality since my drawing skills are decently okay while my video editing skills are currently abysmal...) Oh, before I forget, thanks for pinning my comment! :D Idk if you did that today, or yesterday and I just didn't notice, but thank you! That hasn't happened to me before :3
2:25 made me realize that I’ve never really thought about the implications of Stanley reading the journals. Reading his brother’s slow descent into paranoia couldn’t have been very reassuring.
I just realized that he loved Wax Stan not because it looked like him, but it reminded him of his brother. The fact that Wax Stan was "killed" definitely didn't help with the trauma of losing his brother, it was probably worse 'cause both times were technically his fault. He pushed his brother into the portal and when he left Wax Stan for a moment he "died".
Gahhh, the part when he looks in the mirror and sees Ford instead is just... gahhh, that show ended ages ago, why make us feel the feels all over again?? Also, Stan with baby twins ;_;
The Wax Stan moment hits harder with you having him rush off to the lab. It's like Stan is having a moment of existential crisis. That he's afraid his brother died and he's searching for a ghost.
This is what I think a lot of the time. What if opening that portal wasn’t really the way to bring Stanford back? Like what if he already died 30 years ago and he was just attempting to rescue somebody who doesn’t even exist in this dimension anymore.
There can only be one I thought I liberated my entire dimension how are you here? ltoloxa ym emit sah emoc ot nrub ekovni eht tneicna rewop taht i yam nurter AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH
"this monster" when in this connotation it makes it really sad, First the kids, then ford both see them as a untrusting, and selfish and he even starts to think he's a monster because he feels like nothing 🥺
I LOVE how their conflict was resolved. The point wasn’t Stan’s sacrifice itself, but the fact that Stan gave up his old identity to become a new person out of his brother’s shadow. Everyone always thought Ford was better, and Stan was posing as him for 30 years, but Stan sacrificed his alias to finally escape out of his brother’s shadow, he went from his fake “Stanford” self he had been posing as for so long, to who he really is... “Stanley”. It’s honestly really beautiful.
THE WAY THIS IS 4 YEARS OLD AND THE GRAVITY FALLS RESURGENCE IS HERE NOW OMFG U ATE THIS BRO THIS REALLY IS A COVID MASTERPIECE IM SO SAD BRO THIS IS SO WELL MADE ITS MAKING ME CRY
that bit at 3:36, with the Dipper and the Shooting Star, just... wow that's an excellent detail. Like, you've got little bits like that through the whole video that's just the icing on this beautiful, beautiful cake
I really do love this so much. I feel like the show didn't put enough emphasis on how hard Stan had to work to get his brother back. He had to study so hard.
Every single frame is so gloriously, horribly heartbreaking, each time I watch this I am in tears by the end. Somehow you managed to condense all of my feelings about Stan and his family from two entire seasons into a four and a half minute video, and I don't know how, but thank you, thank you so much for making this gorgeous work of art.
THIS is truly incredible. I haven't watched a PMV of this quality in years. This must have taken tens of hours and it's the best thing I have seen all year. Stan story is such a beautiful tragedy and you manage to be it such justice. Thank you for making this.
I can't even find the words to explain how much this means to me. This is my favourite show ever, and I'm so glad you did this pmv. The art and the timing are perfect, you really brought back the feels for Stan's story. Thank you so much for this work of art ❤.
This was amazing! I never thought about how when Stan sees his wax figure in the coffin he may think of his brother, this song was a perfect pick and now I'm really sad😭
I’m actually crying when he saw Dipper and Mabel and how he frowned from I’m pretty sure from how he’s sad his brother wasn’t able to see him, and when he saw the wax Stan he had a panic attack because he was scared of his brother dying, and how he had flash back trying to tell Dipper and Mabel to let him press the button, and how saddened Dipper looked at the end I actually cried man, really good job!
Oh, this... This is beautiful. You tell Stan's story in such a good way. You even added in scenes we don't see in the show, like Stan meeting the baby twins, or when he faked his death. I was in tears by the end. I miss this show so much.
holy, the lighting and colors in this are stunning! each frame conveys the emotions so good, and im just stunned by how pretty everything here looks!!! You even adapted the art style of the show and "added" to it, idk how to describe that but it's amazing. I have to rewatch gravity falls now :D
Ah man ... that was lovely. I have so many wondefull memories of Gravity Falls that just came rushing back with your lovely art - thank you so much for this touching tribute.
3:34 THIS! This scene right here! Stanley’s waited for so long for a moment like this with his brother. He spent over 10 years homeless, struggling and completely alone, shunned by his family and, most importantly, his brother - the one person who had ever been there for him. Then he spent another 30 years giving everything he had, desperately trying to get his brother back, tortured every day by the thought that his brother might be dead because of him. Everything he’s ever wanted since he was a teenager was to have his brother back - even for a moment. And when Stanley’s tremendous efforts finally pay off and Ford is back… he treats Stanley like grabage - he only insults him and tells him to leave, making it painfully obvious (from Stanley’s point of view) how little Ford cares about him, compared to how much he cares about Ford. All Stanley ever wanted was the smallest hint that his brother cared about him and even after an entire lifetime of missing him and doing everything just to get him back, he never gets it. …Until this moment. THIS scene! Ford finally breaks and hugs his brother, thanking him for everything he’s done, for saving the world, for saving his family, for saving him, and calling Stanley a hero. Everything Stanley had ever wanted from his brother - and more. Only for Stanley to… not remember. This entire heartbreaking situation is perfectly conveyed through this one panel. Sure, the show also has a scene like this, but these feelings aren’t emphasized as much as they are here. Here, you get an uninterrupted, condense view of how desperate Stanley is to get his brother back, full of heartbreaking moments that are inferred from but never actually shown in the series. All of this builds up throughout the course of the entire song to THIS moment, where Stanley finally gets what he’s been desperately searching for this whole time, only for it to not mean anything to him anymore. Needless to say uhh… I really liked this video 😅
Like imagine using Stanford identity for 30 years, just to try to get back the real Ford even if he has to fake the dead of himself, and meet Mason (Dipper) and Mabel babies as Stanford identities and don't know who Stanley was. Stanford says Stanley has to move after the summer end and where is he going now? The reason he still motivates because he wants to fix his own mistake and get Ford back, or else he's gonna still be the same before getting Ford's letter.
im quite literally crying right now. this entire piece was so gorgeous. the entire style, the pacing, the way you conveyed emotions were just so gorgeous and reminded me (even though i already know) how much i love this show. seriously, this is stunning! you are insanely talented and i thank you for making such a wonderful piece! c:
This is amazing, I don’t have the words to even come close to explaining how perfect this is. I’ve never seen something in the fandom that captures his character as well as this, I love all the little extra touches you put! And relating Dipper and Mabel as ‘the stars’ - woah ! Amazing !
oh my god???? this hits right in the feels with the,,, fatastic lighting, and the emotions!! i just,, wow this is my new favourite Gravity Falls pvm, right up there with Youth and A sadness runs through him
Wow I didn’t expect to see any new Grav Falls content!! This is BEAUITFUL! Stan is my favorite character and you portray the major beats of his life beautifully. I especially loved the pacing when he got arrested and raced downstairs, and the flashbacks as he reasons with dipper mabel and soos. And the fade from black with dipper and mabel’s signs at 3:36 is such a great touch! Awesome job :)
Oh my god…this is so cool. The style, lightning, emotions, backgrounds, the whole story of Pines. Just a huge teleport to the nostalgic past and the most important animated series in my life
oh my god 0:46 is hands down my favourite bit. Stanly seeing his brother in the mirror (and doesn't he look a lot like his dad in this frame) and imaginary/reflection ford looks disappointed too! I love the contrast between the two here
hey i, have been rewatching this a lot and i just want to say it really hurts but the art is incredible, this specific version of the song too, every image has meaning, the quick flash of bill at 3:14 somewhere around there oh my god, i know i commented like a week ago but i thought of this in the shower and i cant stress how immaculate this is and how emotional it made me, youre really talented and my heart hurts for these guys
I come back to this PMV every month or so and every single time I’m completely blown away by it! I love the staging. Your compositions and expressions are so good-they inspire me so much. The bit about Stan faking his death with a dummy but with his face tied on it is just. Peak Gravity Falls energy and it makes me laugh every time. Thank you for creating this piece of art!
Yeh legit crying right now dude woW It's so emotional and well done and everything fits so nicely with the song¿¿¿¿ Just Wow Sending all of my friends right now I'm not selfish
OH MY THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Gravity Falls is not only one of my most favourite cartoons, but apart of my childhood. You perfectly captured Stan's story. The lighting and composition in each picture accentuates the emotions in all these scenes wonderfully. Thank you for bringing me back to apart of my childhood and nearly balling in tears. If only RUclips could allow me to like videos twice..
This is absolutely phenomenal, from the composition, colours and storytelling it’s all absolutely incredible. You should be incredibly proud of yourself and what your skill has accomplished
the amount of ground this covered while being so amazing, aaa, this is so good especially with this song i love this!!!!! also i love all the dorky little faces :3
WOAH, this is impressive and extremely underrated. A lot of the drawings looked right out of the show, and I love how you expressed Stanley's emotions. Really well done. The amount of hard work is also visible, the way that scenes sometimes flashed quickly, I can imagine how long each individual one would take! Beautiful PMV! ✨❤️
Oh yay another Home thing! Cavetown and this show are both amazing, this made me sob it is very amazing. Not to mention the artwork is fantastic, thank you for making stuff like this!
A lot of love went into this PMV and it really shows! I can't even imagine the amount of work that this must have taken. You captured all of the characters so well! This was amazing to watch and so sweet and beautiful and I hope this video is seen by more people! It deserves the recognition!
Oh dang... I remember seeing some frames from this a little while ago, and I loved them.. I never expected to see a full pmv featuring those beautiful stills. Wonderfully done.
This PMV has so much emotion. The expressions are wonderful and the camera-view is stunning! I would love to go into detail but I know a few people have already done that and putting it into my own words would probably end up being hard to read... Again, this is so well put together, every frama has so much true emotion and detail. Unlike most PMVs and MAPs that I have seen, this doesn't focus on the whole family's relationship, but instead the pain and hurt in Stanley and Stanford's... Which I find unique and- colorful? Long story short- this is wonderful and brought a lot of emotion and such with it~ thank you
hey. this is absolutely incredible and i’d particularly like to point out two moments that literally made me scream 1:37 “turn off your porcelain face” over wax stan’s death 3:36 “the stars welcome him with open arms” over mabel’s sweater and dipper’s birthmark
thank you so much for making this. i've missed seeing newer gravity falls content. i'm so glad alex hirsh has been back on the scene to cause us to start seeing this kind of stuff again.
This is sincerely one of my favorite pieces of art of all time, the portrayal of emotion is just... perfect, in every way, truly using every artistic tool available to convey the concepts and feelings
this is the best PMV I have EVER watched! each panel tells the story so well and the art is just so beautiful, I literally can’t put into words how much I love this video fmcjosdneosnksaijw edit: oh I also can’t stress enough about how awesome the lighting is! like it’s just perfect
omg I can't believe you just made this in 2020! This is literally one of the most beautiful things I've seen in quarantine. I'm sure it took so muchhhhh effort and I appreciate you sharing you hard work with us! (also love the Mabel quote in your description)
Damn, I absolutely adore this. You're coloring is so phenomenal and I really dig the direction you went with this still retaining the charming humor of the show along with the massive amount of feels. Amazing work my dude!
i literally NEVER comment but ohmyfreakinggod im sobbing,,, i love you so freaking much,, this is the best animatic ive seen and this is like,, my comfort show n im just hnnghhksdhsdfh thank you so so so so so much dsjkndfnjkds oh my godd
AAAAA I'm crying , this is so BEAUTIFUL. Thank you so much for making this . Thank you so much for all your hard work. Gravity Falls is my favorite show and Stan is my favorite character and this has to be one of the best, if not THE best tributes I've ever seen.Thank you again
This is way too good not to comment on. Stan has always been one of my favorite characters, I adore how he’s written and this really just lays out how much he’s actually been through throughout his whole life. Makes me appreciate and understand even more why him being the one who sacrificed himself on that day was so meaningful. This is making me realize what a brilliant conclusion to his character that was. Man I gotta rewatch the show again, there’s so many things I missed writing-wise. Thank you for this, one of the best gravity falls PMVs I’ve seen.
I'm just gonna go ahead and subscribe because this is an absolute masterpiece, likes and my vocabulary aren't big enough to express my admiration for you
i cried during this. its so fucking good what the hell man... stanley isnt even my favorite character but this really made me Feel something. i absolutely love this, so much
I'll probably leave another comment again later because I have so many thoughts and feelings about this, but for now I'll just say WOW congratulations on the 1-2 punch of meanings for "the stars welcome him with open arms", both hurt in different and perfect ways
Okay I'm crying now, this is beautiful, great pmv, I'll be in the corner of my room, crying on the floor. (no seriously this is incredible and I'm seing this way too late I thought that 4 years ago th fandom was dead but I didn't search for the fandom so I'm dumb and this is precious)
This was so beautyful. It been a while since I watch this so but oh boy I just lived again those emotions. Thank you for creating and sharing us this amazing work of yours!

[PART 1/2 because of course I wrote too much]
Okay this is seriously the best thing I've seen in a while.
Here are my favorite parts:
0:02 The fact that all the family members are there (and the way they're posed) really gets me to feel the anxiety and helplessness of a family fight where you feel powerless to stop your family members who are fighting
0:04 This is a really cool "camera" angle. The fact that we don't really get angles like this is GF (iirc??) amplifies the viewer's normal feeling that an angle like this is kinda scary and wrong because we're not supposed to be viewing life from the ground usually. Really emphasizes how powerless it feels to be kicked out.
0:09 Stan puts on his seatbelt XD This probably isn't intended to amuse me but it does because Stan's usually thought of as a rebellious rulebreaker, and here he is following safety laws like a good boy, right after getting kicked out of his home for messing things up, no less (Seriously though, wearing seatbelts is really important, so I'm glad Stan's being a good role model for the viewers!!)
0:20 I find it really interesting that you chose to leave out Ford getting sucked into the portal (at least in this part of the video).
0:24 Nice camera angle to really make it dramatic how much effort he's putting in
0:27 And then he just hugs the book while the portal looms ominously in the background, having defeated his first attempt to reactivate it.
I guess having him burn a scarecrow with a piece of paper with his face drawn on it makes me feel like you're lampshading the absurdity of the situation, which, whether it was what you were going for or not, amuses me :D
Murder Hut - nice continuity reference
1:18 I like that you remembered not to put Stan in his current outfit.
1:27 Young Soos :D
1:34 Good ol' Wax Stan angst, a true fan video classic.
(This is definitely one of the parts of the video where I notice the song lyrics the most.)
2:18 Great facial expressions here.
[PART 2/2]
2:33 He sees the kids watch him get arrested (with the camera angle once against showing the helplessness of being on the ground)
And then at 2:34 he's frantically running down the stairs because he (unlike us) didn't get to see what's happened in the basement since he got arrested so he's gotta go make sure he isn't too late (great pacing and angles here, esp. 2:34 where he seems to run flying past the "camera" (nice job with the flying coattails, which I guess also adds the subconcious associations we have with capes - strength and heroism - maybe???), and then his hand on the door, and the suspense 'cause he doesn't know what he'll find (which we can feel even though we do)
2:37 I just noticed the waste barrel by the door, nice touch
2:39 "He doesn't know how to communicate" - another place I notice the lyrics; they work well for this shot
And then we get some fast flashbacks!!
Everyone else is rightly concerned about him XD
4:08 Another steep ground angel, but this time it's focused on Stan, which combines the helplessness we feel from seeming to be on the ground with the power it feels like Stan has because he seems taller than us, to form a sort of hopeful rising from the ashes - not steady yet, but there's hope.
Even bill cannot break this (and he tried so so many times)
0:47 it is a bit ridiculous ain't it? luckily the cops in gravity falls aren't too bright...
The hospital scene was mostly speculation, wiki browsing, and fandom osmosis
"1:48 Having Stan frantically run to the basement while "Are you dead?" plays is pretty powerful." I'm glad it's so hard-hitting, I've gotten a lot of comments on this, but it's one of those things where it just came out naturally (so I'm surprised by (and very grateful for) all the surprise) - where did Stan run off to? Well to the portal room of course, because that's what's on his mind.
2:22 The black light scene was one of the first to get finalized! There is some good gear turning and hurt for Stan that I don't think is hit upon enough!
2:34 was one of my favourites pacing wise with the music to do! You've added so much by associating this with flying and heroes coming to the rescue.
2:45 it does indeed go fast, I remember it was 1/12th of a second so props for finding it :) You're right ford and stans poses do tend to mirror each other, like two sides of the same coin - regret
3:04 Aand regret not taking the time to detail Soos's expression more. Most frames are pretty rushed you can probably tell haha
3:05-3:06 "Good job showing Stan feeling jealous and that leading to him leaving the Wheel" thank you! unfortunately for non-fandom viewers, this will be hard to follow - trade-offs, trade-offs...
"he makes his decision with no time for anyone to convince him otherwise"
You're right, and that's a really neat way to put it! Stan is pushed to the back by ford and now he won't come back easily
"blocking him from the light and leaving him in the darkness" Ha! Stan is always having lights be blocked or wink out in his presence eh. That was my hazy intention and you've solidified it nicely
Don't worry, I've never been to film school either.
:) Okay, I'm gonna include the video times that go with the comments of yours that I'm replying to :D
0:20 I didn't realize it until I watched the video again today, but the other common scene you left out, between Ford disappearing and Bill getting defeated, was Mabel deciding not to press the button.
(His books are amazing, I'd highly recommend reading them if you haven't!!)
2:45 Yeah, lots of rapid pausing and unpausing of the video :D I think I saw someone mention one time that there's a way to go through videos frame by frame, which I really should figure out how to do sometime (knowing how to do that wasn't really necessary in this case, but I've seen RUclips videos where text is flashed on the screen so fast I'm not always able to find it, at least without great difficulty).
Writing out an analysis of something is a fun way to organize my thoughts on it (and it usually leads to me thinking up more thoughts as well, which is partly why I tend to write more than I intend to...)
All the GF video binging I've been doing recently has made me really want to learn how to make my own animatics. I just need to get better at drawing, get a LOT better at video editing, and learn how to animate. (I've technically made a couple flipbooks or so, but I have never in my entire life animated anything on a computer...) Anyway, if you can get this good without going to film school, then I guess there's hope for me! (I hope...)
*Not "angels", dangit. Apparently I overlooked the last three instances of this misspelling (along with a couple other errors), but I guess that's what I get for writing and proofreading while sleep deprived...
@@aligningducks5887
0:20 mmm yeah I have yet to draw that Mabel scene EVER. it is a big drama and tears moment so very exciting for people to draw! Slightly related - closure is a big theme in my drawing I think (aka laziness lol) I like seeing how little I can get away with
2:34 Oh I've read Understanding Comics, and the other ones too! They're really good, gotta give em a read again sometime (i honestly don't recall hand gestures in there whoops)
2:45 for going frame by frame, if you are on a computer, use the "," and "." keys to go backward and forward respectfully!
3:05-3:06 fair enough, just had a relative who was extremely confused by it and I felt pretty bad haha, so thank you!
Which are your favourite GF videos so far? Any niche ones that deserve a lot more attention? I'm always on the lookout!

[PART 1/2]
0:20 What do you mean by "closure"?
2:34 Oh okay good! I think the part about hand gestures is in Making Comics (I just flipped through Understanding Comics and didn't see it, and would do the same for Making Comics if it wasn't currently lost somewhere around the house)
2:45 Okay thanks, I'll have to try that!
Here're a couple more I unfortunately couldn't put in because they're marked for kids: ruclips.net/video/Y11IYc9pJVQ/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/T6YmKqkxJ3c/видео.html
Flipbooks: Yeah, I was assigned to make one of the cell cycle in high school (still have it somewhere), and also I once spent part of a wedding reception turning some of the bottom part of the guest book into a flipbook (instead of, y'know, actually socializing...) - unfortunately I didn't get any footage of that one, but it was really fun!
I'm on DeviantArt; I just Watched you so it should be easy to find me :D (assuming you get told people's names when they Watch you...? Idk. If you don't, it's AligningDucks, same as my RUclips channel, but a lot better quality since my drawing skills are decently okay while my video editing skills are currently abysmal...)
Oh, before I forget, thanks for pinning my comment!
Ya
Gahhh, the part when he looks in the mirror and sees Ford instead is just... gahhh, that show ended ages ago, why make us feel the feels all over again?? Also, Stan with baby twins ;_;
༎ຶ‿༎ຶ
Baby twins made me smile TwT
Those two parts are my favorite!
1000th like 🌝
The Wax Stan moment hits harder with you having him rush off to the lab.
@@w32211 Just for some closure

I feel like this perfectly captures just how sad Stanley's life is. I might even say you did it better than Alex Hirsch, which is rare to see.
It's true.
"this monster" when in this connotation it makes it really sad, First the kids, then ford both see them as a untrusting, and selfish and he even starts to think he's a monster because he feels like nothing 🥺
I honestly think Stan has ptsd, probably not a very severe case of it, but this video made me think of that
I LOVE how their conflict was resolved.

Stanley Pines' side of the whole show in 4 minutes
I can't even find the words to explain how much this means to me. This is my favourite show ever, and I'm so glad you did this pmv. The art and the timing are perfect, you really brought back the feels for Stan's story.
Thank you so much for this work of art ❤.
Yes! It's my favourite show ever too! (Over atla *cue gasps*) Thank you for the kind words
@@sealbatross I love it you should do a crossover of gravity falls and eddsworld. Ps this is my favorite show along with eddsworld.
This was amazing! I never thought about how when Stan sees his wax figure in the coffin he may think of his brother, this song was a perfect pick and now I'm really sad😭
You might enjoy this: www.deviantart.com/markmak/art/A-sudden-realization-553194921
Ah geez thank you, I'm glad the style worked out! It was my favourite part of it all. And I'm also glad the colors are aight
Go watch go watch! :D
I've literally already rewatched the show like 30 times-
I’M SO GLAD TO SEE GRAVITY FALLS CONTENT IN 2020
YESS ME TOO! I just got into Gravity Falls recently and a lot of the stuff I see for it is really old :(
0:16 ok why did I laugh at that?
MAD FORD
Haha honestly same, the whole time I was drawing him
\ /.
. .
-
Ford-
Ah man ... that was lovely. I have so many wondefull memories of Gravity Falls that just came rushing back with your lovely art - thank you so much for this touching tribute.
I'm milking those memories for all they've got. No problem, thank you for watching!
The timing and jumps and flashbacks are so well put and really impactful, I'm speechless and I love this
im quite literally crying right now.
this entire piece was so gorgeous. the entire style, the pacing, the way you conveyed emotions were just so gorgeous and reminded me (even though i already know) how much i love this show.
seriously, this is stunning! you are insanely talented and i thank you for making such a wonderful piece! c:
I cried, straight up, this was so sad, lovely art, animation and song choice, holy axolotl
This is amazing, I don’t have the words to even come close to explaining how perfect this is. I’ve never seen something in the fandom that captures his character as well as this, I love all the little extra touches you put! And relating Dipper and Mabel as ‘the stars’ - woah ! Amazing !
even after three years, this still hits my heart like a train. 🥲
oh my god???? this hits right in the feels with the,,, fatastic lighting, and the emotions!! i just,, wow this is my new favourite Gravity Falls pvm, right up there with Youth and A sadness runs through him
Wow I didn’t expect to see any new Grav Falls content!!
Stan's my favourite too (as you can tell). I'm glad you appreciate those blips, and thank you for the kind words!
Oh my god…this is so cool. The style, lightning, emotions, backgrounds, the whole story of Pines.
Just a huge teleport to the nostalgic past and the most important animated series in my life
It’s been a while since I’ve seen this kinda work put into an animatic. I absolutely love it
oh my god 0:46 is hands down my favourite bit. Stanly seeing his brother in the mirror (and doesn't he look a lot like his dad in this frame) and imaginary/reflection ford looks disappointed too! I love the contrast between the two here
3:35 this is the face I make when I get hugged by a relative I don't even know
But this is a great video
2:53 took a couple watches but I noticed that tattoo XD
The dedication to detail is amazing!
*Hey now I'm an all star-*
OMG YES!!!! I have watched this a million times and never noticed it I love it!!
I just noticed there is something on Fords belt too in the bottom right corner! I wonder what it says. It is visible at 3:00 and 3:01 too.
@@iza724 it looks like it’s a detail on his belt. I ran it through a few simple ciphers but nothing came up
I AM CRYING THIS IS THE MOST BEST PMV EVER. TO. EXIST.
4 years later and I’m still crying to this
1:20 the way he met dipper and Mabel for the first time of his old life is so wholesome and happy
hey i, have been rewatching this a lot and i just want to say it really hurts but the art is incredible, this specific version of the song too, every image has meaning, the quick flash of bill at 3:14 somewhere around there oh my god, i know i commented like a week ago but i thought of this in the shower and i cant stress how immaculate this is and how emotional it made me, youre really talented and my heart hurts for these guys
-3:13
I come back to this PMV every month or so and every single time I’m completely blown away by it! I love the staging. Your compositions and expressions are so good-they inspire me so much. The bit about Stan faking his death with a dummy but with his face tied on it is just. Peak Gravity Falls energy and it makes me laugh every time.
Thank you for creating this piece of art!
aww thank you! I'm so happy you're inspired by it! That's the best I could hope for
I only just realized that Stan wasn’t sad because of wax Stan,s head but because it reminded him of losing ford to the portal
Yeh legit crying right now dude woW
It's so emotional and well done and everything fits so nicely with the song¿¿¿¿
Just
Wow
Sending all of my friends right now I'm not selfish
I know right
How many times have you watched this?
Me:YES
OH MY THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
Gravity Falls is not only one of my most favourite cartoons, but apart of my childhood. You perfectly captured Stan's story. The lighting and composition in each picture accentuates the emotions in all these scenes wonderfully. Thank you for bringing me back to apart of my childhood and nearly balling in tears. If only RUclips could allow me to like videos twice..
aw shucks im so happy you like it so much!!!
This is absolutely phenomenal, from the composition, colours and storytelling it’s all absolutely incredible. You should be incredibly proud of yourself and what your skill has accomplished
GOD i love this so much god god god
I love the drawings, the transitions and everything fits so well, this is amazing
gods the amount of tears i shed watching this im going insane THIS IS SUCH A GOOD ANIMATIC IT HURTSS
AMAZING JUST ABSOLUTELY AMAZING I HOPE YOU GET ATLEAST 500K VIEWS. I love how it's Stan too
the amount of ground this covered while being so amazing, aaa, this is so good especially with this song i love this!!!!!
also i love all the dorky little faces :3
WOAH, this is impressive and extremely underrated. A lot of the drawings looked right out of the show, and I love how you expressed Stanley's emotions. Really well done. The amount of hard work is also visible, the way that scenes sometimes flashed quickly, I can imagine how long each individual one would take! Beautiful PMV! ✨❤️
I was just rewatching this series. The feels are hitting 10 times harder because of this T.T
oaaughhhhh man i really like the detail of the guitar making that click sound being stan buckling his seatbelt. veryyyy satisfying
Oh yay another Home thing! Cavetown and this show are both amazing, this made me sob it is very amazing. Not to mention the artwork is fantastic, thank you for making stuff like this!
Ok this is officially my favorite fan video ever. It’s so well done and I’m crying.
A lot of love went into this PMV and it really shows! I can't even imagine the amount of work that this must have taken. You captured all of the characters so well! This was amazing to watch and so sweet and beautiful and I hope this video is seen by more people! It deserves the recognition!
Okay, this is honestly one of the best Gravity Falls animatic I have ever seen. Also one of the best Home Cavetown animatic.
Oh dang... I remember seeing some frames from this a little while ago, and I loved them.. I never expected to see a full pmv featuring those beautiful stills. Wonderfully done.
AHHH STANLEY PINES I WILL FOREVER LOVE YOU 😭😭 Out of all the songs I would NOT expect a Cavetown song to fit so so much for Stanley! God!!
Long story short- this is wonderful and brought a lot of emotion and such with it~ thank you
Thank you for writing such a wonderful comment! Ah, I'm a sucker for pain, if thats a rainbow, all the better :) have a great day!
why am i bawling my eyes out to a pmv of an animated kids show. i love this sm
THIS ALMOST MADE ME CRY AND YOU DON'T KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO DO THAT CONGRATULATIONS
"Are you tired of me yet?" AS HE IS YELLING AT FORD I AM GOING TO EXPLODE YOU WITH MY MIND
oh my gosh I'm having SO MANY EMOTIONS about this, you did such a good job
This made me tear up. It's so amazing how you took all these moments and made it hurt so much more. Excellent work!
hey. this is absolutely incredible and i’d particularly like to point out two moments that literally made me scream
1:37 “turn off your porcelain face” over wax stan’s death
3:36 “the stars welcome him with open arms” over mabel’s sweater and dipper’s birthmark
Glad you enjoyed ^^
thank you so much for making this. i've missed seeing newer gravity falls content. i'm so glad alex hirsh has been back on the scene to cause us to start seeing this kind of stuff again.
This really puts into perspective about how life really mustve been for stanley all those years, and even after retrieving ford, 😍
Ngl i love this scene in 3:03 cuz it's Ford and Mabel bonding which was very lacking in the show. This is so cute.
This is sincerely one of my favorite pieces of art of all time, the portrayal of emotion is just... perfect, in every way, truly using every artistic tool available to convey the concepts and feelings
even with this being a childrens show there is so much power in some of the things that happen.
this is the best PMV I have EVER watched! each panel tells the story so well and the art is just so beautiful, I literally can’t put into words how much I love this video fmcjosdneosnksaijw
edit: oh I also can’t stress enough about how awesome the lighting is! like it’s just perfect
omg I can't believe you just made this in 2020!
Thank you so much for the kind words :)
i literally NEVER comment but ohmyfreakinggod im sobbing,,, i love you so freaking much,, this is the best animatic ive seen and this is like,, my comfort show n im just hnnghhksdhsdfh thank you so so so so so much dsjkndfnjkds oh my godd

WHY DOES THIS NOT HAVE A MILLION LIKES????
this... this is just.... omg, your art is beautiful, i just cant....
justo know that this is by far the BEST animatic from GF i've ever seen!!!
I'm just gonna go ahead and subscribe because this is an absolute masterpiece, likes and my vocabulary aren't big enough to express my admiration for you
😳.🙏
i cried during this. its so fucking good what the hell man... stanley isnt even my favorite character but this really made me Feel something. i absolutely love this, so much
I'll probably leave another comment again later because I have so many thoughts and feelings about this, but for now I'll just say WOW congratulations on the 1-2 punch of meanings for "the stars welcome him with open arms", both hurt in different and perfect ways
Weeping about Stanley Pines all over again ;_; Thank you for making this I love it so much
Thank goodness for RUclips finally putting this on my home page! Absolutely stunning video ans has captured him so well 😢❤
Okay I'm crying now, this is beautiful, great pmv, I'll be in the corner of my room, crying on the floor. (no seriously this is incredible and I'm seing this way too late I thought that 4 years ago th fandom was dead but I didn't search for the fandom so I'm dumb and this is precious)
This is one of my favorite things in the world. Thank you!
glad you enjoyed! thank you for watching :)
how many times have i watched this now? like 13 times? its that good! ❤
This was so beautyful. It been a while since I watch this so but oh boy I just lived again those emotions. Thank you for creating and sharing us this amazing work of yours!
E-MO-TIONS! E-MO-TIONS!
And no problem, it was made to be shared :)
why doesn’t this have a million views it’s a masterpiece!!!! 😭
Two Siblings, bonded forever,
made a promise to stay together,
fought their way through high school and all, but couldn’t stick the landing and fall
Just one wrong mistake, and their friendship crashed ashore…
Their sibling bond was now, No More…
Went their separate ways, and Explored…
Found that Life isn’t always galore…
Discovered their passions in Life, one chose to Connive, the other, Archive.
When the Brother with too many fingers, found the place with no strictures, the Prophecy that for 1 Trillion years, had been, did from then on begin…
Poor Stanley, always running
from the cops, the thugs, or his own cunning…
Proud Stanford, so eager and bright, always running forward, to discover the next strange sight…
Finally at the end of their Journ, The Two Twins learned that consequences can’t be burned…
Found their backs, against a wall, the brothers chose to finally Recall…
10 years apart, torn and benighted, the Stan Twins were finally reunited.
Their reunion brief, they fell into disbelief, neither still, can understand the other’s Grief.
A Fight ensues, Brothers Thrash and Bruise,
their promise to each other, verbally defused.
When all’s said and done, and emotions are on high, it’s the final push from Stanley
that causes this friendship to die.
Lost and Alone, in a strange place to call home,
once again Stanley’s on his own…
Didn’t sleep well night after night, Stanley eventually had to go out for a bite.
Needed a way to put food on his plate, free-spirited Stanley trapped his Tourists with some Bait.
Now, scamming and conning again, this time Stanley had a plan. Gather the bucks and scam the shmucks, he’ll save his brother no matter what.
30 Years he played the long-game, and it finally, payed off in his Brother’s name. An overdue confession of Shame, All Stanley received was Stanford’s Blame.
30-Years apart yet now they were back, the original Mystery Twins, in the Mystery Shack.
Loose Grudges, and Sore Hearts, still these Pine Twins chose to stay apart.
When Gravity Falls and Earth became Sky, on that Day the Prophecy was Nigh…
Through probabilities unbecoming, the Keys to Cipher’s Zodiac were Abutting, setting aside their past grudges and Pride, the Prophecy of the Zodiac, was finally nigh…
At Last United, the Members of the Zodiac coincided, Hand-in-Hand, their Power ignited,
only 1 Left to incite it…
Stanley Pines, The Man who Had it.
Even after all their efforts,
Pride and Vanity still had them tethered,
With their Golden Chance now in Flames,
the Stan Twins had only themselves to blame…
A Heart-To-Heart, after 30-years, finally at long last they revealed their fears…
A single choice, to be made on spot, the Original Pines Twins gave it one more shot…
A Trillion years and it’s all lead up to this,
one Final Deal standing in-between this Demon and his Bliss…
Yet the Stan whose hand he shakes seems amiss…
The Prophecy Broken, their Mind now open,
which Stan would Bill be spoken…?
One Final Con, to end this Triangle’s Evil Spree,
the one whom Bill meets in the Mindscape is named, Stan-ley.
Deals can’t be Called Off, No Refunds you see, Turn around, and face me 180-degrees! You‘re a real wise guy but you made 1 fatal mistake you messed with my family, and hurt my brother you SNAKE!!! Now I think it’s past-time you finally pray for your heinie! If God is real he sure as Hell won’t grant you a Dime! So go ahead and pray to that Axolotl or whatever!! But remember this Cipher you ain’t clever. You played a great game, were good at your work, but now it’s finally time, to take back some of that hurt, for 1 Trillion years, you cheated and scammed but you could never Con the Greatest Con-Man! Now Mr. Wise Guy, I think it’s about time, that I show you why you never MESS WITH US PINES!!!! 👊
I cried, this is a fantastic piece with no many poignant beats that you hit each and every time with such character accuracy. I loooove this, into my ‘save to rewatch‘ folder with you
Awww shucks that means so much! Thank you, I'm so happy you like it!
