When I was deciding what two characters to play, I was actually considering double Falcon, but decided not to since I just made the All Star with solo Falcon
Jesus Christ, this was totally worth the 2 week wait. I'd love to see you try this out again, maybe with Mario and Luigi or Diddy Kong and Donkey Kong.
It's a special taunt that he can only do on Lylat and maybe Corneria(?). It starts a dialogue cutscene in front of the battle between the Star Fox characters
How come the results screen had a massive green bar instead of a photo capture? I noticed I had that problem as well, along with blank name tags. And that TAS was amazing!
The problem is a graphics setting in Dolphin. It turns out that by default, External Frame Buffer is disabled. In order for the images at the end of each match to appear properly, I had to switch to the "Direct3D 11" backend, and switch External Frame Buffer to "Real." I acvtually just figured that out, so none of my videos have it fixed. I don't actually know if the Direct3D backend is necessary, but it heavily sped up the game boot time for me, so I still recommend it. Also, it turns out that you won't see the affect unless you start the TAS with the settings. As in, if you made a TAS without these settings to start, you'll still see the green bars if you switch these settings on. Starting after my next video, the green bars will be no more.
On second thought, don't switch to Direct3D 11 if you have OpenGL as your backend. Dumping frames with the Direct3D spits out a garbled mess of a video. You can probably switch back and forth if it's convenient, I suppose, but that seems a tad annoying just for the little trade-off of load time.
You did a fantastic job on this TAS. This must've taken you a long time to finish. Maybe it's just me being a perfectionist, but I take a few weeks just to make a 2 minute TAS. lol
This is the only Co-op TAS I've made so far, but I'll keep it in mind. It'll definitely be a while before I get to it though. Co-op's take a long time to make
If the Wii U had good emulation + TASing tools I'd consider it, but until then it's out of the question. Messing with replay data could work but it sounds excruciatingly tedious
It's more important for me to make these entertaining over making them fast. Sometimes the "S" in "TAS" is intended to stand for "Super-play" instead of "Speedrun." This is very normal for Smash TAS'es, and people who watch Smash TASes more or less expect it. However it does bother me sometimes when other RUclipsrs waste too much time, so I try to refrain from doing it unless it's time well spent
The point of making it is to show what the game is capable of in theoretically perfect cirumstances, to push beyond what people are able to do. There are no cheat codes involved, as it is strictly an input replay (in fact, in any officially published TAS the use of cheats would normally disqualify the run unless it is considered a special category different enough from the base game). It is quite literally the opposite of something that you should be comparing to real time play. Real time play of All Star would be boring, quite frankly. If you want good real time play, look at tournament players / highlights. If you want TAS, look for TAS. If you want to actually see me play, I have a few replay highlight videos from Smash 4 on my channel.

This is REALLY satisfying to watch.

Ben Hall I would like to see a sonic tas sometime in the future
A brawl TAS with real physics. Love it!
It's been a while since I've had this much fun watching a TAS.

This looks like it was tons of fun to make.
Imagine if there were more TASes like this, where 2 near-perfect players cooperated together.

I fuckin love this. You should use two really silly characters together, like Wario, Falcon or DK
5:37 Everyone in all-star mode is dead.
R.I.P. Lamdmaster..
you should do boss battle TAS's with two people that would be great
i should unlock Boss Battles mode :P

I would have mained Fox in sm4sh if they kept his Brawl voice. Nice wombo combos btw (3:35).
You’re so lazy
They still miss Melee.
Please do All Star Mode Co-up with Snake and Sonic on Intense without TAS and choose original costumes for them!😀👍
Anyone else wanna see a tas of olimar and mr game and watch?

Who ever these guys are they beat us by 4:00 min we fucked up two combos and that was with Olimars stage and Ness and Lucas Stage
hax
PK FIRE!!! It's called TAS. (Tool-Assisted-Speedrun/Superplay).
Tas players tsk.. why don’t you tas players play on normal gameplay and show us what your really made of and not rely of cheat codes for victory
