hey all! Hope this video is pretty darn helpful after those balance changes, i do have one issue that i have with this list myself is maybe too much in a tier. Next time i do this (aka probably past th17), i’ll be sure to justify these rankings a bit more.
however to justify some if the troops: - Electro Titans have pretty much become “super witches” of regular troops. High dps and damage while being buffed by the eq boots - Apprentice warden’s are amazing rn due to the meta being focused on ground tanks or any troop over 2k hp. This is why Super bowlers, Super witches, heroes, RR’s, valks, etc. all use the apprentice warden hope that gives a bit more insight

I think the average edrag player is just very bad tbh. Just have good funneling and heroes for the backline of the base and it's great. Not s tier but A tier is good. Also queen giant arrow just removes the biggest edrag weakness which is air sweepers.
@@0Fallen0 pretty sure that all bases are a bit compact, spacious bases are prone to queen walks/ high range strategies. Almost all bases I've seen rn are compact enough to be 3 starred by e drags. That's if the attacker has some degree of skills
S tier for apprentice is too high imo. Yeah they're good for support and that charge is good but they're not broken enough to be in S tier. Same with headhunter. Only support troops like druids that are broken enough to make the whole army viable should be in the S tier. Just my opinion tho.
@@Laziota it's a must. But they are just support. They aren't broken. They do their job really well. But they don't carry the army like druids do. I've gone so many times forgetting to use the one headhunter I carry and I'm fine. I end up using them for cleanup instead. Before you say anything I'm in legends 5500s rn.
I can vouch for the Apprentice Warden being in there. Before hero equipments, the Life Gem overlaps with it though both were useful on different cases. Now, it greatly helped in making certain attacks work. The Grand Warden being as good as he is helps too. AW essentially gives you the choice to run the most optimal GW equipment sets for an army. Need more HP for your high HP troops but you don't want to use a slot for the Life Gem? Just shoehorn the Apprentice Warden within the army and you can now use the more ideal equipment for the army on top of the Eternal Tome. Plus the meta rn bolsters their usage even more. With the viable units being more tanky, it makes much sense to have it in most attacks.
Root Rider is still S tier. The nerfs only hurt those that mindlessly spam them like Edrags. Also I'd put Edrag in B tier because despite it being a bit tanky, it still attacks pretty slow and is easy to counter. Healer should be in A tier instead of S because the fact remains that, healing is its only real use; so if you lose your attacking troops it's pretty much useless.
Dragons have to be the best troop in clash of clans. You unlock it relatively early unlike some other troops. And after unlocking it, you can use it on every townhall level. It's insane
Do you ever think you’ll go back to doing the attack strategy tier list for each TH? Those were your most helpful tier list outside the equipment ones imo. Though I imagine a lot of work
Archers should be F and Goblin & Barbs D (especially in TH16). The lower tiers are terrible. For funneling, the archer is tooo slow and useless...takes 1 min for one building on any TH... 0:28 It was nice that you did say that right after your army cleaned it up instead 😂 Barbarians and Goblins are WAY better troops for clean up. The damage of the archers are mediocre...and the range doesn't matter, since the purpose of those 1 unit troops is to clean up as fast as possible and usually when you clean up, you don't have any dangerous buildings in reach anyway.

Sure a Barb has better DPS, but he can't hit outside builds from outside the range of defenses, which is the key to your main issue. Put them down *early* and they will be out of the range of defenses. Barb and minion you have to wait till they are clear, Archer you don't. This is niche, goblins will always win when it is a resource building and minions always win for any defense targeting army/if you have w housing space rather than 1 left over, but archers still have a niche. More surefire to bring them than barbs simply due to their range
@CollateralKaos guess what dies from a single bomb? I think you guys don't get that time is important for clean up... you can't put stuff down early. Most times, any defense (archer tower, mortar, xbow) will destroy those clean-up troops. You also don't funnel with any of these troops. I told you already that the range is no argument. Those stupid archers literally needs 30 seconds for a fucking gold mine.
@@Goku-zu3rk you missed the point, the archers having range protects them from defenses, and for outside buildings they don't have to move at all from spawn eliminating the bomb issue, and archers often can be put down early DUE to the range. You put them down really early due to this and time *doesn't* matter because they have the entire battle to work on that building The range keeps them safer than other cleanup troops, that's their niche
hi. i am casual player and only play coc sparingly couple of times a day for farming loot. so is baby dragon good for th 12? i am soon reaching th 13, so will it work at that level also? is there any troop that is better than this?
I’m th12 and I like using a combination of witches and yetis since it works really well and even can 3* th 13s. You can do a queen walk into yetis and witches or use yetis witches with bat spells and freezes
Not to defend bowlers but if they are so low in the list the witch shouldn’t rank that high even if skeletons might make a difference splash damage wont spare them either thus its hard to ignore the fact that they take twice the housing space as well 😅
The main reason is witches are good between th9 and th13. You can squeak them in at th14 but after that they kinda fall off. bowlers really only good at th9 and sometimes th10 and th11
E drag should be at Z tier It's the worst troops I've ever seen I almost never used it but most of my classmates use this to get 2 stars in mirror bases
Then that is a skill issue, not an issue with the troop. There is a difference between a troop that is bad, and a troop that you *dislike* so please, learn the difference... I don't like Edrags either but I ain't gonna act like they aren't at least somewhat powerful
Just my own thoughts: Etitans are A tier- really strong troop, but not seen much in the high level meta and just not overwhelmingly powerful. Minions are B tier- I agree that it’s one of the best clean up troops in the game, but at the end of the day it’s just a clean up troop. Witch is hard to rate- like he said, th12-13 below witches are S+ tier, in higher townhalls though it be B tier at best.

When was edrag ever in S tier past th12? At th16 it's B tier at best. Edrag is literally the 2 star merchant.

I'm at th14 and occasionally use E-drag armies when I wanna be lazy and they still easily 3 star.
