I bet twoset didn't know she played violin too
But can she play a rubber chicken?
Maybe... I N T E R E S T I N G

Why do people pay more attention to people like the Kardashians and not her?
Very good question, I wonder the same thing
People are stupid. You should watch the movie called ideocracy
I don't pay any attention to them.
because they're more relatable
Sadly, classical music requires some more education and exposure than the average stuff we are exposed to
Waiting for Twosetviolin's collab with Alma doing Ling Ling's workout. Congrats Alma!
YES PLEASE!
Alma won’t be doing twoset jokes
Hahahaha.
TwoSet would be bowing at her feet, shining her shoes, and cleaning her room.
Haha, yeah, would be nice. And then they can improvise a sonata together

I like them btw . Theyre funny
She looks so at peace while she is using that violin.
She writes music out of her heart, and that is pure and profond and beautyful.

She got her permanent loaner Stradivarius before either of them got their loaners.
Alma gives me hope as a poet, because she doesnt forget her classical music roots.
Perhaps one day she will set one of your poems:)

It's so nice knowing she's still around and thriving🤗
So gifted. Music just comes out of her, period.
Romy Venes not the best turn of phrase 🤮🩸
Kids like this are very blessed to have had a supportive family who could provide for the child at a young age. A violin at age 3...I'm guessing private lessons as well. Imagine if we could get all the kids exposure to music at such a young age....
Makes one wonder how ,many budding geniuses of all sports never has such an opportunity and have died unknown.
She's so cool. I wish her the best
Phenomenally gifted.
fabulous,,,,, simply amazing,,,,,,,, oh to be able to see music,,,,,,,, wish I could live another 50 years to see how far she goes,,,,,
How poignant that her name Alma which means Soul in Spanish, her Soul is Music.
And also in portuguese...
What is "poignant" about it? Wrong word.
Wow
And means "apple" in Turkic languages ("elma" is used in modern Turkish though)
Alma is AMAZING !!! what a joy to live at the same time as this great composer....
She's so smart and beautiful 👏🏻👏🏻
Beautiful to see she is still spreading her talent.
*Alma Deutscher* is pure magic. I love her.
I've seen her in past years and have always felt she was amazing blessed to have this great music talent.
This is certainly not just your ordinary "child prodigy." People don't realize how much more work it takes to produce her works compared to just learning a show-off piece.
May your talent fill lots of people hearts. You’re talented and beautiful Alma.

*I N T E R E S T I N G!*
That's really cool that she has that kind of mindset.
Only 14-years-old, she's a prodigy, plays both violin and piano at a level where she performs at Carnegie Hall, she's incredibly intelligent and insightful. On the other hand my basement apartment is a disaster and I've had no motivation for the past 5 years to clean or organize it. I really gotta do something with my life.

Classical Music. The foundation of true order in music.
I came here looking for twoset comments... let's just say I was not disappointed xD
I've been watching her channel since she was 10.
Having the right teachers makes all the difference. And people like a prodigy. If she was older and going into a college program she’d most likely be scolded for imitating half a dozen other composers and they would try to knock her down a peg. I applaud the teachers that are encouraging her.
She’s at Juilliard every week for lessons.
Warren G Wonka is she really?? She lives in Vienna.
Correct now; when I first ran into her, her family was in England.
Alma rules!
I clicked on this and then realized wait.......
If you can compose slowly, you can compose quickly
iNtEreSTiNg
The description is wrong. She started piano at 2, THEN violin at 3
Very impressive!
What an amazing girl!
She is seriously talented, and I haven’t composed anything yet......... I am ten!
OH MY GOD IS SHE THE GIRL FROM TWO SET
She is brilliant, and gentle, and brings beauty with her music into the world. Music is so much better because Alma exists and translates the music she hears in her head to us.
Leave it to the Brittish to have a genius born once every generation! Sometimes it's a Newton, sometime a Turing or The Beatles, but now, it is without question, Alma Deutscher!
I love Alma so much!
If you can prodigy slowly, you can prodigy quickly
Brava!!!!
Very proud to have someone like her carry the British flag around the world!
Huge
She's brilliant ! And don't let her fool you. She can sing too when she feels the part. See Alma and Amira (another prodigy) performing her ' Step Sisters Duet ' at age 11. Quite fun. Sir Roger Moore in the audience for this one also. Enjoy.
When Cinderella fell ill in Salzburg, she sang the part in German on three hours notice.
Exquisite
The beginning sounds are so cool - they make a busy street with cars, buses, it is like central London . Was it ever done before by other composer?
Yes! Be Alma! Be yourself! Great answer!
Que chido, la Unica artists en su Clase.

"I want to be Alma." 👏🏼
At last are truly talented young person who did not need to go on one of the many talent shows to be discovered by Simon Cowell… I hope she had a long and successful career
Simon knew Susan Boyle for many years but kept her never shown to make a sensation later! I think it is very cruel
@Violin Accordion Really? I didn't know. Yes, actually her singing was astonishingly beautiful
@Violin Accordion Did not Simon feel ashamed to break someone's life like that?
Uau. Just uau.
Sie ist die Beste
Omg it’s the “interesting” girl
And it is hoped you see she is much more than the tiny shallow review they gave of her four note composing on the piano.
@Violin Accordion again...You clearly aren't a fan of Alma so why do you obsessively follow her activities and comment vigorously under (almost literally) every video featuring her? I counted 23 comments from you under this video in various threads within the last three days and even more before then. You are a troll, not a legitimate critic. Your arrogance is through the roof. What has Alma ever done to you to make you have such a vendetta against her?
Ihdc1 I’ve seen his kind before. The petty kind that are in the later half of their life with most of their success behind them, taking their bitterness out on a rising star in their same field. His time will soon pass, but Alma will shine throughout this entire century.
@@guystudios Exactly. Old people make a hobby of trashing the younger generation. From information they have revealed in a now deleted conversation (that I started under another video of Alma), this person is likely somewhere in their 60s.
What is it with all the comments mocking her? 😆 people trying to troll a 14 year old girl that is a successful musician and composer... Who is the one to laugh at? 🙂
Violin Accordion has some sort of a vendetta against Alma. He's literally on every new video of her that gets a decent amount of attention and criticizing her relentlessly. He/she is so obsessed with tearing down a 14 year old. @Violin Accordion you are a troll full stop. If you don't like Alma, stop looking her up and spending so much time and effort writing all these lambasting comments.
Danke ♥
She has been commissioned to write a new Opera due 2022 - and Cinderella will see a new production for 2020 - no date given but presumably towards the end of the year. See her web page.
Cinderella in Austria was ill and could not be replaced. Alma took the part in German on three hours notice
Get out the violin!American is wounded and you are precious!Merry Christmas.
@Violin Accordion still at it huh? You clearly aren't a fan of Alma so why do you obsessively follow her activities and comment vigorously under (almost literally) every video featuring her? I counted another 10 comments from you since my original comments a month ago. You are a troll, not a legitimate critic. Your arrogance is through the roof. What has Alma ever done to you to make you have such a vendetta against her?
I have never seen such a person so obsessed with someone he hates.
@absoftitanium I deduced from their other comments that Violin Accordion an older person in their sixties. It's the condescension of older people, not juvenile jealousy.
I should really do something productive
I have not seen a 14 year old composing music that sounds mature, like an adult yet. This is no exception. She is indeed wonderful, but obviously needs to mature as a composer and find her voice. Of course she will, I will be happy to pay more attention to her and attend a concert when that happens. Most of the serious classical music fans are going to do that when her times come.
She already has.
and then there is me at 14 failing at making cup-o-noodles
I'd love to experience her mind and thought process for even just 15 minutes, but being a mere mortal that's probably never going to happen.
NBC News seems to be the only New York City medium that took note of this concert. The local newspapers seem to have ignored it.
Violin Accordion I don't understand your reply.
Who are "they"? Who wants to stifle criticism? Why?
I find it hard to believe that news media are influenced in any way to avoid reviews of her performances.
@Violin Accordion it is probably exactly because of this attitude they have been blocked. She is an amazing composer/musician a harsh critic could render her into silence. She is still a child when she is an adult she will have to learn to live with the critics until then she should be allowed to blossom on her own terms
@Violin Accordion As a music lover myself, I can't see anything particularly wrong with her music, given where she is in her career (I suppose one could write a scathing review of, say, any of Mozart's first three symphonies, after all). If people choose to listen to it and encourage her to publicize it already, that is the listeners' decision, and I suppose that her typical listeners--of all levels of classical music education--enjoy her music more than I would expect a professional critic to do.
And I will second the hope that she is not influenced (or, worse yet, silenced) by music critics who wish to hold her music to a pre-established standard; I would not expect that to happen, given her comments about the pressure to compose ugly music and her own belief that there is no point in doing so.
Her Siren Waltz, which I listened to here, on youtube, is amazing. The second time I listened to it, I was actually a bit emotional because it's reality. Waltzes are supposed to be dreamy, and she took something that we give a negative connotation to and turmed it into something beautiful.
Someone in a comment said that they've heard this before, they do it in film scores, but what they miss is that this is a child. This is a child whose mind has the complexity to hear an entire orchestra in her mind.
Half of us can barely function on a daily basis. Understand that this type of artistry, this classical artistry, which isn't regarded by popular "radio" anymore, when done right, is truly a gift.
I've been a long time fan of classical music thanks to my sixth grade orchestra class--a class I was transferred to without my choosing, which changed my musical taste forever. For that, I am eternally grateful, and I'm grateful for this child. I hope she continues to inspire because she's brilliant.

why are there so many comments referring to 'twoset'? What is twoset?
Because the channel twoset violins made a hilarious video on the TV program with 4 note composition.
jumpingjflash Twoset Violin are a pair of Very Talented violinists who do more comedy than serious performances.
Hillary Hahn going through the Ling Ling workout with them is a hoot. She aces everything but playing left handed. Ling Ling is the renowned violinist who practices 40 hours a day.

I am so POed. Emily played in town a couple of miles from my home and I found out about it two weeks later.
Interesting
"She composes full scores in her head and then puts them on paper" LoL what did you expect?
Well, this is actually a skill that is very rare, and which I would absolutely love to have. When I write Music, I have to try out different things for all of the parts, one after another. It's really hard to picture all the Orchestral textures in your head before writing them down.
Most composers compose piece by piece and need to play it to hear it as well
Gershwin used Ferde Grofé to orchestrate Rhapsody in Blue.
