    Industrial application building?
Or some historical teconstruktion/ tourist location.
Mayby the owner of the content could, make a effort and write something in describing about where and why this is built.

These type of homes are very cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
you don't need air conditioning or heating to live in these cave homes.

I see a lot of money being spent,, and I fail to imagine a use for the money spent or fuel burned. Cave houses? Parking garage? That ancient tough clay soil turns to some of the slickest surface imaginable when it rains.

Same as buying a hamburger, depends on how much money a person or government has to spend.

@@robertmccully2792 Yes. Too true. But what use is there for these tunnels? I can logically think of nothing. Tunnels and pad outside are the same level,,, rain would flood both outer and inner. Limited width,, unlimited depth. I have been running the possibles through my brain and coming up with no uses. (Yes, I can imagine some uses ,, but not anything to balance the costs.) Hmmmm.

This construction reminds me of brick lined tunnels near Yokosuka Naval Base (Japan) constructed by IJN before WW2 to store munitions. Dry / cool and protected against elements and bombing.
It could be a fireworks factory where you would need to store ingredients plus finished products and didn’t want to loose the entire complex due to one mistake. Impressive and costly construction.
