A lot of people don't know the italian restaurant have make your own pasta for lunch and is free!. You go you'll get seated and they will give you a paper where you mark your protein, type of pasta, sauce and any vegetable you want to add. I think you also get a bread basket
my son is allergic to nuts and fish. the MDR was wonderful on the breeze (dec 19'). they gave us the menu the night before so he could pick what he wanted. no issues.
dont forget cherry on top is also extra charge along with the ice cream u can get there - did u guys mention the sea day brunch or the tea time? the brunch was excellent but i never got to check out the tea time on the Vista - hoping to do so on this ship tho!

The largest Guy’s Burger Joint at sea will be aboard the line’s newest ship, Mardi Gras, set to debut from Port Canaveral, Fla., on July 31, 2021. I couldn't find any findings for the use of Flavour Town on Carnival ships beyond a partnership with various food delivery apps. Are you sure the buffet is open 24 hours? In all the Carnival cruises I've been on, the buffet closes so this would be new (and great). The steakhouse is called Fahrenheit 555. Also, the Italian restaurant is usually open for lunch and lunch is free. Is that not the case on the Mardi Gras? We cruise on the Mardi Gras in April. I have found that Carnival is more relaxed when it comes to dress code, but I found a list of all the restaurants and by a few of the extra cost ones it said "formal." I was wondering just how formal and if "smart casual" or "Sunday best" would be ok?
According to Carnival the Lido Marketplace is 24x7 www.carnival.com/cruise-food/lido-marketplace which is on the Mardi Gras. Regarding dress code according to Carnival its a fairly light dress code: In the evenings, some of our ships enforce a “cruise casual” dress code. For men this dress code can call for longer dress shorts or pants (jeans are OK too) and a collared polo shirt. For women, the dress code may ask for sundresses, skirts and blouses, dress shorts and capri pants are acceptable. Don’t wear sleeveless shirts (for men), cut-off jeans, T-shirts or gym shorts. The 24x7 Pizza is in the buffet, which is why it's open. The buffet is only serving pizza however so its technically "open", however who knows after COVID what will happen on the buffet front. Hope that clarifies. Happy Travels 🦩

I just booked it for September. I restrict myself to 2 specialty dining experiences per trip, so steak house and ??? 2nd one is up in the air on this one!
